This original, antique piece of Americana measures 36" tall, 23" wide(27" diagonally) and rests on a wooden base with cast iron rod through the center of it. Here is a pair of heavy weight antique metal drawer pulls/cabinet handles. The measure 2 3/4"T x 3 7/8"L with an opening to insert a label measuring 15/16"T x 2 7/8"L. The nail hole openings are just over 2 1/2" apart. They are made of a thick heavy weight metal& together weigh over 1/2 lb. They have a residue of paint on them and I have not cleaned them. This is a lot of 47 original antique skeleton and cabinet keys we found in a tin can in a barn. They will need to be rubbed down with some steel wool. The bottom 2 rows are all'cabinet' keys with the open ends. The 5 matching ones in the top row seem to be cast from aluminum rather than steel or iron as they are lighter than the rest. Antique General Store 55 Drawer Apothecary Seed Hardware Cabinet Counter
For sale is this antique apothecary seed counter from an old general store store. The counter is in good used condition with lots of patina. As you can see from the pictures. The drawered unit easily lifts out of the glass showcase. The counter measures 95 1/2" long x 24 1/2" wide x 40" tall. There are 55 drawers that are graduated in size from the top down. All of the drawers are in good condition and open with ease with the exception of one drawer which is missing the front panel. The only other issue is a slight crack in the glass which is pictured. You may consider replacing the piece of glass but that is nothing major. This item is local pickup only. I will ship the cabinet but all shipping arrangements must be set up by the buyer. One handle is slightly larger than the other four and is marked 1811. Three of the other four are marked 1812 and measure approximately 3 1/4" x 2" The larger handle measures approximately 4 1/8" x 2" The only marks to be found were the dates engraved on the inside. Early Starrett Hardware Store Display Cabinet Dimensions are 59 ½" x 23 ½" The cabinet was originally mounted with two hinges on the left side. So that it could swing out to allow access to stock on shelves behind. Most of the original fasteners and metal labels are intact. Allowing a Starrett collector to showcase a collection. No tools are included. Cabinet is oak. Original lock and key are included, glass is wavy and original, black velvet is original. Includes the large Starrett round display emblem in the center of the cabinet. Which is very collectible by itself. Cabinet can be picked up locally.
