Antique Clear Glass Italian Wine Bottle Tall Spiral Twisted Italy
This bottle is beautiful. It has not been cleaned. Just rinsed with water. There is something on the inside glass towards the top(see pic) but it will come off with long brush. The original cork/stopper is no longer with us. It stands 14 3/4" tall, holds 32 ounces, weighs a little over 1 1/2 pounds. Made in Italy. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Here we have an 11 3/4" green glass bottle that has a label that says"Vermont Boiled Cider- J. P. D. Plummer- Boston" I would guess that this piece is about one hundred years old and the original label is in pretty good condition with just a few small pieces of paper missing in the margins. The glass itself has some bubbles and striations"in the making" There is a bit of residue in the bottom but overall. A superb crude rare olive/green Dutch/English pipe blown onion/squat pontil bottle with stretch marks and lots of bubbles some even with stretching. Applied ring with sheared top and little white specs of slag through out. Difficult to find such a bottle with so much crudeness. Truly a rare specimen for the colonial bottle collector and uncleaned unpolished. There are No chips, No cracks, and No repairs. There are some scratches around sides and wear to bottom as you would aspect. Pontil mark is very clean. Bottle measures 6.75 inches tall by 5 inches wide. Hi up for auction I have an antique"OLD J W HARPER" American advertising"Pinch" decanter whiskey back bat bottle with 3 d whire enamel lettering. Circa 14980's- 1920's. A pinch bottle is much scarcer and is typically smaller than the usual quart size or larger decanter styleback bar bottles. They are called pinch bottles as the bottlehas 2 indentations in the glass so that the pourer can easily pinch the bottle with their fingers when pouring a shot of whiskey. Here for your consideration we have a group of four(4) antique bottle stoppers from the late 1800s. They are an assortment of colors including teal. Amber, aqua and clear. These were hand dug and are in good to very good condition. They will be perfect for decorative purposes in your bottle collection. The teal stopper came from a PRESTON'S bottle, teal. It measures 3/4 at the small end of the taper and increases to approx. 13/16 at the widest part of the taper. The amber and clear stoppers would work in a 1/2" wide mouth. The aqua is for a 5/8" mouth. They all have some scratching and a couple have chipping that would be hidden in the neck of your bottle. The tops are in EXCELLENT condition on all four. The stopper is also handblown with a air bubble inside as seen in pictures with a small ruff edge. The enamel is leaves across the front and a dot on the top of the stopper with little wear. Rare Belle of Anderson Prohibition Whiskey Bottle Very Good Condition A very interesting history can be found on this distiller if you search"Belle of Anderson" A paragraph of interest: Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Greenbaum’s flagship brand was Belle of Anderson. He advertised the rye whiskey vigorously. Each bottle displaying the distinctive red Star of David on the label. He initially merchandised his whiskey in clear glass as well as in small ceramic“scratch” jugs and milk glass containers. The latter were likely meant as back of the bar bottles. Note the embossed Star of David on the front. Greenbaum trademarked the label in 1882. Standing a little over 8 1/2 inches tall this bottle is a great example of the methods used to bypass prohibition by grandfathering old whiskey. It has a Daisy& Button and Fans design with Beaded Edges. It measures 7" tall and 4 1/2" wide complete. The set consists of the glass stand holder, 2 shakers and 1 mustard or pickle bottle. The lids are in as found condition, they show lots of wear, the mustard pickle lid top is loose. This is an unusual set, the stand has small pegs that the bottles fit into, see photos. The set is in good condition but used, it is 100+ years old. The edges of the base bottles have some small chipping but nothing big or bad. I have shown the damage in photos below. Pretty Purple Colored Ketchup Bottle Circa 1900'S DUG W/ Twist Off Cap
This Is A Nice Purple Colored Ketchup Bottle Circa 1900 It Comes With A Metal Screw Cap It Stands Approx. 9 5/8" Tall It has a small rough spot and 2 surface scratches on the outside of the bottle which are clustered together and shown in the last picture. There is not any other damage to the bottle that I can see- just some areas of light haze staining inside from being dug from an early 1900's era trash pit. It is a molded bottle which has some air bubbles. The threads on the top of the bottle are unchipped. The metal cap has several dents and 2 small holes but still screws on well. It is a nice purple decorative ketchup bottle with a metal cap. I can't say it is the original cap but it fits well. This item comes from our smoke free home. Vtg 8 ounce Baby Nursing Bottle with Embossed Kitty Cat
This listing features an OLD 8 ounce baby bottle that has measurements on one side and an embossed. Sitting kitty cat on the other side. It stands 5 3/4" tall and has no chips or cracks. The mouth is 2 1/2" in diameter. The bottom has a smooth but recessed pontil. All items I sell are either vintage or antique. So, there may be some less than perfect condition factor. Please note that I will state if the item is in excellent or mint condition. The books& paper items may have a slight"boxed up" smell. Antique Glass 2-QT Refrigerator Water Bottle w/Sprinkler Top--Sept. 15,1931
ANTIQUE CLEAR GLASS REFRIGERATOR WATER BOTTLE WITH ORIGINAL METAL SPRINKLER CAP- 2 Qts-September 15. 1931 This 2-qt. antique water bottle measures 10" tall(excluding metal top) x 16" diameter. The entire front of the bottle is depressed with the word"WATER" in large letters at the top. Then a waterfall underneath, and underneath that is a landscape with 2 trees, water, and grass. At the bottom of the jar is depressed: Pat. Sept. 15, 1931. On the bottom of the bottle is some kind of mark that looks like a large circle-oval with a diamond shape on top. There is a"7" on the left of the mark and a"0" on the right. On the back of the bottle at the bottom is depressed"2 QTS. The metal top is original. It is a screw-on sprinkler top. The bottle is in good antique condition. There are some mineral stains ... morein the bottom of the bottle which can be brushed out with a bottle brush.
