This is a late Georgian Anglo Irish cut glass oval piggin butter tub. It measures 5" long x 3-1/2" wide x 3-3/8" high and dates back to circa 1820. It ... morewas used oin the dining table for butter, cream, or surface. The piggin is made of clear cut glass and is an original piece from the early 19th century. It is in absolutely beautiful estate condition with only very light, trace signs of edge wear with a couple very tiny edge flecks which are barely felt. The underside shows authentic age appropriate wear from normal use, as shown in the photos. There are NO cracks, NO repairs and NO restorations. The style of the butter tub is Georgian and it was likely made in the United Kingdom.

10 pc Desert Set 19th Century Continental Anglo-Irish Cut Glass Compote Plate
Normal 0 I've searched and searched and checked with numerous colleagues trying to identify this incredible hand cut 10-piece dessert set fresh from a fabulous northern New Jersey estate. To no avail. The family claimed this was 19th century Baccarat. I did purchase some other signed Baccarat from this estate as well as some lovely gilded Moser stemware already sold. So far I've had three local opinions, French, Bohemian and Anglo-Irish. Please feel free to politely offer your opinion. Lending credence to the 19th century claim is a second 9" plate that has been repaired with staples- an acceptable repair in the late 19th and early 20th century. And shown in the third to last photo. The craftsmanship is incredible. The glass is 1/4" thick and clearly hand cut with amazing cross-hatching. The clear tear-shaped centers of ... morethe pointed edges are cut into the glass in a thumbprint fashion from beneath. There are eight 10" plates and one 9" plate. The compote is 8 3/4" tall with an opening diameter of 9 1/8" and a base of 5" Why anyone would craft glass with this many points I'll never know. There are numerous dings and I've shown some of the worse in the last two pictures and am happy to send you more photos. It's still quite exquisite. Dings and all. This glass weighs over 20 pounds and will be shipped in more than one box. International buyers should inquire regarding shipping. I picked up some other wonderful things from this estate, so please check my other listings for other great finds. Always happy to combine shipping or to provide additional photos. Thanks! SHIPPING: Next day shipping on items paid for by 9:00 p.m. EST. Mon-Fri. and sometimes on Saturday via USPS Priority or Parcel Post and UPS for larger items. I charge a handling fee of $1.50 for small boxes and $2.00 for large boxes. If I must purchase a special box to ship your item, I'll pass that cost on to you. Paypal requires signed delivery confirmation on items over $250, which costs $2. 10 I

Lachenal 30 key Anglo Concertina in C/G -Restored-Irish Music?
This is a Lachenal 30 key anglo concertina in C/G No 86744- c 1885. It has mahogany ends. Bone buttons, steel reeds, a new set of 6 fold bellows and comes in a brand new luxury fitted gig bag. The concertina has been restored and is in concert pitch with new pads. Valves, straps and bellows. This is a fully playing 30 key anglo which would be great for an improver who plays Irish music-or for any folk musician who wants a C/G anglo-which are the most sought after! I see this sort of concertina on stalls at folk festivals with brass reeds or 5 fold bellows at prices higher than the starting price of this instrument-and you won't find one as good at this sort of price anywhere. The only negatives I can find are that it has a couple of stable cracks in each end-most of these do-but no missing fret. Good Bidding! Postage would be £20-by ... morecourier-insured-in the U.K. It would be £60 to the States.

Very Rare Set of 11 Georgian Anglo Irish Crystal Compotes
This is a very rare set of 11 hand blown. Hand cut Georgian Anglo Irish Compotes that date from 1790- 1820. It's obvious they were hand blown as they vary ever so slightly in thickness and height. They are 3 1/8" 3 1/4" high x 3 3/4" across. The square bases are applied, and have a"Lemon Squeezer" hand cut design. If you look closely at the pictures you will see that some of those designs on the bottom of the bases are not quite centered. The thickness of the bases also vary slightly from 1/16" 1/8" thick and you can see bubbles in some of the bases. Each bowl has a raised ball of glass in the bottom. I've never seen anything like that before. The bowls of the compotes are beautifully cut in a diamond pattern. Three of the bowls have very small flea bites around the rim. The 5th photo shows the bowl ... morewith the largest chip, the other two are very very small. The remaining eight bowls are in perfect condition. Some of the bases have very square points and some appear to be beveled. Many of the bases have small chips. None of these detract from the beauty of these rare compotes and are in keeping with other pieces of this age. These are very well packed with each bowl wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.

Early 19th C. Anglo Irish Cut Glass Open Sugar
Here is a beautiful piece of early 19th century Anglo-Irish cut glass in the form of what appears to be an open sugar or sweetmeat dish. Likely dating to around 1820. It measures 4 1/2" in height and about 4 1/2" across the top. It might have had a lid originally, although see no indication of a rim or any kind of contact wear where rim would have rested. Overall condition is excellent, water clear, but noted is some moderate roughage on the fan tops- fairly normal for this comparatively brittle early glass. Pictures are included to show the general edge condition- nothing worse than what you see- no chunks or cracks. Only other issue noted is a small pinhead flake which I have just noticed on a verticle rib as I write this description. All else is crystal clear and perfect. Please check the bottom of the listing page for additional ... moreinformation added in response to questions. Thanks! Condition Notes:Since certain words are open to interpretation. Here is a short synopsis of the meaning we attach to various terms relevent to condition. In all cases, anything that we believe is outside the boundaries of accepted norms will be fully described in the listings. PERFECT. Implies the piece is free of chips, cracks, or hairlines. Expect reasonable signs of use and age and/or minor original manufacturing flaws. FLAWLESS: Implies that the piece was originally made without any flaws and is undamaged as outlined under PERFECT. You may expect to see some reasonable signs of use such as normal and usually validating bottom wear, but anything beyond that will not be described as FLAWLESS. MINT: A word we almost never use, implies that a piece has no flaws, no wear, no sign of use, no damage- and to all intents and purposes, remains as pristine as the day it was made. International bidders: Items will be mailed only to your confirmed eBay address. And under no circumstances will customs forms be falsified to reflect a lower value or"gift" International buyers will be solely responsible for any customs fees, d

IRISH STYLE ANGLO CONCERTINA TUTOR BOOK + CD SET *NEW*
Mick Bramich presents a systematic approach to playing the C/G Anglo concertina. Irish style. Many people buy or acquire an Anglo concertina and find that it is less intuitive to play than it first appears. What is needed is a systematic approach and, at last, here it is. Keys are presented in order of difficulty and all types of tune- including slow airs- are tackled. The book contains 17 photographs and numerous illustrations and diagrams; 14 reels, 20 jigs, 10 hornpipes and 12 miscellaneous tunes, 56 in total, many with chords) rudiments of music, an extensive bibliography and discography, and a chord chart. 9 Antique Anglo Irish Glass Double Spout Wine Rinsers
Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. 9 Antique Anglo Irish Glass Double Spout Wine Rinsers Presented is an interesting and rare set of 9 Anglo-Irish cut glass or crystal wine rinsers from the second half of the 1700s or possibly the early 1800s. These pieces are classic in design and are most likely originally from Ireland. Wine rinsers were a common sight on a table during an elaborate meal in the 18th century. A different wine was often served with every course and each person had their own wine glass rinser. Each one is cut with typical Anglo-Irish diamond cut designs along the sides and they all have a double spout form. The cutting and design are typical of the mid to late 1700s. Even into the early 1800s. All 9 pieces have a beautiful ring/tone. This old set is in excellent condition. The bottoms show ... moresome surface wear. But this is inconsequential as it is on the underside. The wear on the underside is actually nice to see, especially on pieces of this age. There are very minor surface scratches and fleabites here and there on some of the wine rinsers. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks and no repairs. The wine rinsers measure approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 5/8 inches in diameter. Good luck and bid with confidence. Early 19th C. Anglo Irish Deep Cranberry Red Cut Glass Pitcher Pre ABCG
Early 19th C. Anglo Irish Deep Cranberry Red Cut Glass Pitcher Pre ABCG Description- This is one of the prettiest early cut glass pitchers you'll ever see. The color is a rich. Deep Cranberry red and there is even a streak of color in the heavy applied handle. The blown glass body has 12 broad, hand cut facets and there are grooves cut under the lip and along the side edges of the opening. The handle is cut with broad facets including broad facets that run the length of the handle on both sides. The style of the pitcher, the broad facet cutting, the streak of color in the handle and the considerable wear on the base all together lead me to believe that this pitcher is early to mid 19th Century. The shape and cutting is similar to some examples of Irish or Georgian cut glass from the very early 1800's. If it's American then I'm ... moresure it has to be Before the American Brilliant Period began in 1876. Irish, English, American, or other. you be the judge. Size- 9" tall. 8" total length and 3.75" base diameter(22.9 x 20.3 x 9.5 cm) It weighs 3 lbs. 8.5 oz. Condition- Very fine condition with some small caveats. There is a small. Flat flake underneath the edge of the handle that is about 1/4" in diameter and is hard to find unless you are hunting for it. There is also a smaller than a pinhead'stone' or possibly a small ding near the base of the handle. These flaws are shown in the photos. Other than these very minor flaws the pitcher is in wonderful condition with No other nicks. Chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. As always. I unconditionally guarantee that you will be satisfied. The Stand features amazing 18th Century Georgian Period form and superb pierced designs throughout with amazing feet which are also pierced. The Stand is all original and features a great Period Armorial of a Bird standing on a Crown and holding a Cross in it's mouth, which is well worth looking into to see if the original family can be identified. The Bottles are all Period Anglo Irish Cut Glass and fit very well into the Stand so I do believe they are all original as well. The Sterling portions on the Glass Bottles are unmarked but I was told this was most likely because Elizabeth never actually Registered her mark with the Assay Office and would have only had the Stand Hallmarked. The one Oil or Vinegar Bottle features a Matching Armorial to the Stand. The Service is in really amazing condition for the age, the other Oil Bott

You are bidding on an antique Georgian. Anglo irish cut and fluted rummer or wine glass circa 1830-49. I have 6 of the Georgian wine goblets available, but you are bidding on ONE. The goblets are about 5" high and just under 2 1/2" across the top. They are in really good condition with no chips or cracks. The base appears to be the original scalloping and has not been reduced. There are one or two very tiny pin point size nicks on the top edge. They are very hard to see but I can feel them when I run my fingernail along to top. They do NOT detract in any way.
