Pair (2) Antique Late 19thC Bohemian Enamel & Gilt Cut Glass Lustre Vases
Being offered for your consideration is a pair of antique late 19th century. Bohemian enameled& gilt cut glass lustre vases with long hanging clear crystal prisms. Each vase stands 10" high, base diameter is 4" top diameter is 4 1/4" with the six crystal prisms around. The stems of the vases are opaque with an enamel leaf design. The base and the top of each has a white and peach enameled flower and leaf design with the stems of the plant gold gilded. All the prisms are present and with the exception of one that was glued at the neck, are exceptional. The hand cutting on these is remarkable. There are a few tiny flea bites to a few of the prisms that do not detract from this magnificent and elegant pair. These are quite impressive pieces. The color of each vase resonates with a pink hue. Fascinating to look down on these ... moreto see the different thicknesses of the rim.almost as if being there when made! C1910 FINE PAIR OF BOHEMIAN CUT& ACID ETCHED AMETHYST GLASS VASES NO RESERVE This listing is for a fine pair of Bohemian wheel cut and acid etched glass vases. Because the vases are hand made. There is a slight height difference in the vases, the tallest vase measures 9 3/4 inches(24.7 cm) tall. The vases are purple amethyst glass with a cut diamond pattern on the bottom. The body is acid etched with wooded scenes with deer and rabbits. Further decorating this are lattice patterns and scrolls. The condition of both is very good. There is very tiny flea nicks in the diamond pattern and a small flea bite in the corner of one base. This is minor. Please see the many photos for more on the look and condition. Up for auction is a beautiful pair of Moser Style Bohemian/ Czech glass vases in very good condition. This pair of vases are pre-1900 and are excellent quality. Hand blown and engraved with fine wheel cutting and 5 different colors of enamel. 6 including gold has been artfully applied. Both stand approximately 4 inches tall. The larger of the two has 5 tiny flea bites on the rim but is hardly noticeable. This pair of vases used to belong to my grandmother who died back in 1966 and have sat in my parents garage in storage, not seeing the light of day for almost 47 years. Extremely tall vases, standing 16" or 41 cm in height, with diameter at about 4 1/2" or 11.5 cm. Vases were made of two layers, clear glass and white overlay glass on the top. White overlay glass was cut to clear forming 6 tall panels, 3 are left with white glass and hand cut in small, square pattern, 3 others are hand painted with foliage of different flowers. Pair of Emerald Green Moser Bohemian Art Glass Vases
These rare and beautiful vases each have 6 vertical panels with white overlay glass. Unique flowers were hand painted on half the white panels. These alternate with panels where the glass is hand cut through to the green in a diamond pattern. The vases stand 14.5 inches tall. Diameter of mouth is 5.5 inches and diameter of base is 4.75 inches. Condition is excellent with no breaks,cracks or repairs. There is partial wearing away of the gold on the top rim and where the vase meets base. These vases were inherited. I cannot guarantee the authenticity of the descriptors.

Beautiful and lustrous in appearance! Height: 12 inches. Base Diameter: 4 ¼ inches. Top Diameter: 4 ½ inches. Although unmarked. The Bohemian origin is conveyed by the feather-light weight of the glass. American Mercury Glass was made of flint glass, which is fairly heavy. Greetings. Today for your consideration are 2 small va ses or pitchers from Czechoslovakia. I picked these up at at es tate sale of an elde rly woman who had a collection of pottery and glass. These look pretty old and appear to be hand painted. They are both marked Made in Czechoslovakia with a number 39 on the bottom. They appear to be in pretty nice condition. The only flaw I could see is that a small"nub" is off on one of the handles on the very top. Which you can see in the pictures, other than that no other cracks or damage. I'm not sure if they are Bohemian or what they are. They measure 8" tall and 4" wide across the middle. I'm sure a collector out there knows what these are. Antique 19th Century Signed AHNE Bohemian hand painted glass Opaline Vases
Offering an Exquisite 19th Century pair of vases. Hand painted and hand enameled, signed by the well listed and celebrated Artist Josef Ahne(1830-1909) Ahne, a German/Bohemian artist specialized in figural decoration based on oil paintings done by Italian and German artists. He was recognized for his work at the world exposition in Vienna in 1873 and won a bronze medal in Paris, 1878. These vases measure 14 1/4 inches in height and 6 1/2 inches at widest point. These are Bohemian Opaline glass with a polished bottom. Each with a hand painted No. 2. These are exquisite hand painted scenic portraits of what appear to be Dutch? coastal scenes and signed by Artist"Ahne" to lower right. These are in wonderful condition for their age and are free of cracks or repairs. Flakes or any damage. Pair large Egermann etched ruby red glass vases made in Czech Republic with original gold foil stickers still on them. These have the same design but as with most hand etched glassware they vary slightly in that a swirl or line may be slightly longer. Wider or a bit off-center. Just looking at them on a mantle or display they look identical but when you look closely at the details you can see the slight differences which show they are not machine made but done by a skilled glass cutter. I have these set so you can enlarge them then hover over them and move your mouse to see the details up close. To see up close an example of what I'm speaking of. Hover your mouse over the etched area that looks like a building in each. Bohemia, the pattern is found in the West Virginia Museum of American Glass. Monograpgh No. 59, C69. This fantastic pair of uranium glass vases stand just under 12" tall. And are in a honeycomb pattern. When taken from the mold, they were swung from side to side to elongate the necks, and then cracked off the pontil and ground at the rims. They are in good condition, with a couple of very tiny flakes on the rim tops, which, if desired, can easily be ground off. Otherwise, there are no chips or cracks. One is in pretty nice shape with just some minor wear/ nicks around the rims and the other has the same type of wear and has also been cracked and I'm not sure if it was repaired and one of the thorn is chipped. Rare Pair of Antique Moser Bohemian HP Art Glass Vases Ca. 1890!
Up for the auction is an antique(Ca. 1890) pair of beautiful Bohemian art glass vases by famous Moser manufacture. They start with the square based on the bottom. Continue with the square shape bodies which turn into the round necks and rims(pics. 1-6) They are made of black amethyst glass and decorated in Chinese style with the gold scrolling decoration all over the bodies extending to the neck(pic. 7) They further decorated with the beautiful enameled flowers and foliage at the base and around the bodies(pics. 8-10) Very scarce and beautiful pair that hard to find! The vases are in a very good condition without a damage with a couple of tiny nicks on the top rim of one vase(pic. 11) and a rough area on the base of another vase(pic. 12) Really minor flaws for the age and scale of these impressive art glass examples of Bohemian craftsmanship! ... more13 1/4" tall. 6.5 lbs. Bohemian (Czech) Moser Type Cased Glass Vases, White Cut To Purple Amethyst
These vases are a BEAUTIFUL example of Moser type cut cased glass in the VERY desirable and rare deep purple amethyst color. I list them as"Moser Type" in deference to a question from a potential buyer. I believe that they are MOSER. But can not definitively prove it, ergo the"type" They were sold to me as"Moser" and appear to be the same or very similar to every other piece I've seen listed as"Moser" They sometimes seem to be cobalt blue. They are in great condition with no cracks, chips or nicks.They are not an exact match pair and I believe the one on the right is older than the other because of the wear on the guilt rim. The one on the right also seems to have a wider inner base(images 7,8,9) and the floral design seems to slightly vary. This is understandable because all of these cut cased ... moreglass pieces are hand painted by various artisans. The birds in both designs are almost exact. The one on the right also seems to have a slightly longer oval cut out than the other and is 5 5/8" while the one on the left is 5 3/4" The last two images have a large Mag Light flashlight with focused beam behind them, and show the true amethyst color of both pieces through the cut panels. This listing is for a RARE MATCHED PAIR of Bohemian"Florentine Art Cameo" Satin Glass vases. C. 1890-1900. The golden. Satin finish, hand blown glass vases are decorated with hand painted enamel winged cherubs playing Pan pipes, perched happily among blossoms, branches and leaves, Queen Anne's Lace and cattails in pure white. The double white bands around base and rim are unscratched and perfect. The quality of this piece is exceptional with the painted decoration heavily applied giving the illusion of actual cameo cut glass. Florentine Art Cameo glass items are rare- it is even more rare to find a MATCHED PAIR. Especially in such exquisite shape! The golden color of the glass goes well with so many color combinations, and the clean lines of the vases would match up well with just about any decor. Measures 9" high with ... morea maximum width of 5 1/4" 4-1/4" top diameter and 3 1/2" base diameter. The vase and enameling are in excellent condition. Especially when you consider the age of these twin vases, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Natural bubbles, lines and marks in the glass are original to the piece. The rims of these vases are in remarkably good shape, with no detectable chips or flea bites. Note the closeup on the left vase, indicating the bubble in the glass open to the surface- but it certainly does not detract from the pleasing aesthetics of the items. They won't disappoint.
