This listing is for a Nineteenth Century antique tapered club form port wine decanter with fine diamond and flute cutting. It has a faceted flattened lozenge form stopper. And intricately engraved Royal Crown armorial crest over an"N" monogram. The engraving is beautiful with tiny evenly spaced cross hatches. It retains its hand made silver bottle ticket and belcher chain- which is unmarked. I'm unsure as to whether it is sterling, but it still has the scribe marks used to lay out the punch work. The decanter is unsigned, but markings are visible on the side of the polished stopper plug. it appears to read" 328 AGn T Paw" I am uncertyain about the"G" and"w" The glass is quite clear, and of good quality. Proud to offer for your bidding Rare& Beautiful Heath& Middleton Birmingham Sterling Silver. Wicker& Green Blown Glass Decanter Date Marks from 1896-1897. The decanter stands over a foot tall and I am guessing it is near a gallon size or close to. Design: The design features a Repoussed Motif decoration of Victorian scrolls or paisley and has been intricately designed all over the top of the Sterling. The Buckle is secure and has a gorgeous Shield like style to it. The Body of the Decanter is hand Blown Green Glass in excellent condition no chips or cracks. The Wicker is tight stain and dent free and in wonderful condition except one break on a wicker weave. see below& picture for 1 issue on the Decanter) Hallmarks:The Sterling top is hallmarked in 4 places Birmingham( city mark) Lion passant( assayer's mark) representing ... moresterling silver(925) And marked B for the year 1896. The midsection of the wicker has a broken or dislocated piece on the wicker weave(Shown in my pictures) This could be fixed by a professional. Aside of this is in extraordinary original condition! Antique Cut Glass Ship Captain's Decanter Originated in Germany Pre-1945
This lovely ship captain's decanter has a wonderful history. It belonged to my Mom who received it as a gift from a lady friend in the early 1950's. The lady friend who was Jewish smuggled this decanter out of Germany sometime during the 1940's. Taking it to Italy and eventually moving on to California then Connecticut all the while having the decanter in her possession. I'm not certain why it was so special to her but obviously it was. My Mom has had it in her china cabinet since the early 1950's and has asked me now to sell it for her. It is 7-1/2" tall with a 2-1/2" top diameter, the bulbous shape is 6-1/2" wide at the widest point. It is very heavy weighing well over 3 pounds. It is beautiful cut glass. Highly faceted without its stopper if it ever had one. My Mom used it for a vase. It does, unfortunately ... morehave a large crack in the body and she says it will only take about an 1-1/2" of water up to where the crack begins or it will leak. There may be methods of repairing this exquisite piece. This piece is being sold in its damaged condition as described. RARE Antique Glass Decanter BLUE STAR WHISKEY Advertising c.1890 Cleveland OHIO
Antique Mold Blown Glass Whiskey Jug c.1890's*Blue Star Monogram Whiskey* DESCRIPTION A handsome clear glass mold blown antique whiskey jug from the late 19th century circa 1890's. This holds 1 full quart Blue Star Monogram Whiskey There is little information available about this brand of whiskey from the late 19th and early 20th century. Bottled by E. Bloch& Company of Cleveland Ohio. A Cleveland Business Directory from 1869 lists the company name as'S.H. E Bloch& Company' located on 66 Water Street, Cleveland. Ultimately it became E. Bloch& Company in the early 1890's. There are occassionally fine original antique tin signs that can be found advertising Blue Star Whiskey and they sell for hundreds of dollars. The one to the left recently sold for over $400.00 The Blue Star tradename and trademark is seen ... moreon the door. The side of the tablecloth and also on the box on the floor. And there are many stoneware jugs to be found for sale on the internet with the'Blue Star Whiskey' trade name. But very rarely do you find these handsome early glass whiskey decanters. A Rare Beauty! Some folks incorrectly refer to these Blue Star decanters as being made of cut glass. It is in fact mold blown glass and retains an unpolished pontil rod mark on the slightly pushed up base. If you look closely at our images and follow the mold lines down from the pouring spout through the shoulder of the decanter you can see the mold lines. A handsomely designed mold with a very fine sawtooth design running between the wide rounded vertical ribs of the bottle. There are three sunburst shapes surrounding the upper portion along with the Blue Star Monogram. The handle is good and wide allowing for a two finger grip and a thumbpiece for better balance when pouring. This retains the original multi-faceted stopper. Antique 3-Mold Blown Glass Decanter Jug Cruet Clear Diamond Pattern Pontil Scar Lovely example of early American 3-mold blown pressed glass. The pattern on the body is comprised of diamond and fan shapes and the neck is fluted. It is constructed of fairly thick glass with no chips or cracks. There is an"open pontil" scar along with other marks left by the manufacturing process on the bottom. Some trapped air bubbles within the glass, and some rougness and other imperfections along the interior edge of the opening but nothing that would seem unusual. Bohemian decanter is generally ruby red in color, with an etched grape, leaves& vine decoration surrounding its body. It is a hand blown and etched piece and features three(3) lovely rings encircling its neck. Rows of what might be described as'thumbprint' cuts encircle its base and top shoulder(see photos) The finial on its stopper is triangular in shape, with six(6) long sides. Offered is an antique decanter with blue stain made by S. Sternau& Co of Brooklyn. New York circa 1900. It is 5 1/2" wide and stands approximately 13" high. The glass decanter has a blue stain. Light cobalt flash and cut starburst designs, using a cut to clear method. The decanter is trimmed in gold. The lid on the decanter has a silverplated border. Sternau is molded into the neck lid. The decanter is in very good antique condition. Without cracks or chips but some wear to the gold. The stain does not appear to be scratched but is a little oxidized in some areas. The cut pattern needs to be further cleaned.

It can be glued to look fine, but you wouldn't be able to use it without unsticking the other end. Otherwise, as in photo#6 there's a chip on the lip. Antique Blown Glass Decanter w Neck Thread/ 1800s Era
There is damage to the threading but may be hard to accurately see in the pics. Top thread has a chipped piece approximtely 1.5" long. lower threads appear to have grinding marks and there are grind marks between the threads. There are also scratches around the circumferance of the decanter as well. Outer edge of the bottom is also heavily scratched from what would appear to be heavy useage. Random bubbles are also to be found in the glass.

ANTIQUE PINK GLASS TUMBLE UP DECANTER BOTTLE TUMBLER TRAY DEPRESSION ERA 1930s
This beautiful pink glass tumble up set and tray were manufactured during the 1920s- 1930s by one of the elegant glassmaking companies- sometimes referred to as a bedside water set. Nite cap set, etc. The decanter and matching tumbler have a lovely palm optic or drape optic pattern. This set is referenced in Bedroom& Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years by Whitmyer. The handled serving tray is also referenced in the same publication. But is not shown with this tumble up. The tumble up with the glass in place measures 7-1/8" tall. The tray measures 10" long to the outside of the handles. The tray has a molded starburst in the base and gently scalloped edge. There are no chips. Cracks or fleabites in any of the pieces. There are a few bubbles in the glass and a straw mark in the tray. No cloudiness or residue.

RARE Antique Cambridge Cut Glass Water Decanter
PRICE JUST REDUCED AGAIN. This is an EXTREMELY RARE antique hand cut water decanter produced around 1910 by the Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge. Ohio. This magnificent item features the deep cut Marjorie pattern, evident by the star and arch design shown in the photos. It has a fabulous luster when viewed under light. It stands 7 inches tall and is 7 inches in diameter and weighs just over three pounds. Since it is over a century old, it does contain scuff marks on the bottom but otherwise it is in very good condition. Collectors will want to pay close attention to this auction since it is quite uncommon to see one for sale. Two others like this have sold for well over $450.

Antique Ruby Bohemian Cranberry Crystal Glass 6 Cordials Cut to Clear Decanter
This lovely decanter and mat ching stopper with 6 cups belonged to my late Grandmother. I am selling many o f her things for my parent s. Th ey bel ieve it is from the 1930's or 40's but I do not know the actual age. The maker i s also unknown as there is no mark that I can find on any of the pieces. The pattern is a ge ometric cut to clear leaf and oval motif. Simple and stunning. The measuring cup/stopper at the top of the decanter has an imperfection in the top of the rim which feels like an indent or bubble in the glass(see picture) It feels original and smooth. The set is otherwise in excellent condition. With no flea bites, chips, or cracks found. There are some subtle imperfections in the etching as well, see pictures) which highlights the handmade nature of the set. There are some normal bubbles and light signs of mild wear ... morein the glass, commensurate with age, mainly near the rims of s ome of the cups. It is an absolutely beaut i ful set. Please ask if you have questions before you buy. ... moreDESCRIPTION Acquired at an auction/Estate Sale along with a few other wonderful treasures is this fabulous antique 1920's Original Ruby Red molded Glass with Sterling Silver Overlay Deposit Glass Jug Shaped Decanter Set including 6 matching cordials. The Jug features a beautiful scene of an angel with a lady playing a horn. Surrounded by intricate Art Nouveau vines and flowers. This scene is on both sides all around the piece. The jug itself is made of moulded poured glass with just one seam, typical of early glass. The crystal stopper/lid looks to be a newer addition and not original to this piece, but it does add that special touch(the stopper has a tiny chip on the very tip) Along with this jug is the matching 6 cordial shot glasses, each with sterling bands around rims and stem bases, one has a slightly different pattern, and may be a replacement. Really beautiful! Jug measures 5.5" tall(7.5" with Stopper) x about 8" wide Cordials measure 2.75" tall(probably holds 1 oz shot) In very good condition. Some signs of wear on overlay in some areas. This is a BEAUTIFUL decanter. This older vintage piece features blue glass with very textured. Embossed fruit pattern. The pattern includes grapes clusters, apples, and pears. There is a textured leaf border on the bottom of the decanter as well as on the upper section. The bottle is wider at the bottom and top with the mid, fruited section being smaller in diameter. The decanter tapers into the bottle mouth. The decanter retains the original, very large glass stopper. It features the same textured fruit pattern as the bottle. The decanter is in very good vintage condition. There are no chips. Cracks, etc. There are some air bubbles in the glass. The decanter is very tall. It measures 20" with the stopper in place and 16" without. The stopper is 6" long.
