There are some pinholes ... morein the porcelain, part of its creation process, and possibly one darker pinhole that has aged and has perhaps become deeper up towards the top- just on the line where the light blue trim meets the darker blue of the treetops. Not sure how visible this is but I did a thorough looking over under a bright light and saw it. The jar is about 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. There is a small porcelain insert that sets into the top that is sold with the jar, though I'm not sure that it's original. Two blue circles are marked on the bottom. I find no chips or cracks or breaks in this exquisite jar. There is some dried on residue from previous tape that I'll leave to new owner to remove. This is just one of the pieces belonging to the estate of a woman who collected Asian pottery and porcelains as well as some Dutch. Blue Onion and many miscellaneous items. Cylindrical body swelling toward the shoulder and tapering into a wide, cylindrical neck with sharply everted, upright rim with a double ring. Decorated with famile verte enamels, it has sophisticated greek keys, cloud, diaper, scrolling foliage patterns from top open rim to the shoulder. The rich colorful enamels that apply on this vase is outstanding in the Famille Verte peers. The main scene of this vase depicts eight immortals with children. The term‘Eight Immortals’ is figuratively used for happiness. The number eight has become lucky ... morein association with this tradition. Vintage Antique FULPER Pottery Arts & Crafts Bowl Vase BLUE Old
Rare is the piece where the bottom is nearly as cool as the top. But the underside of this Fulper bowl has an amazing matte blue glaze. The top ain't too shabby either. Measuring just over 2" tall and 10" wide, it is fully marked. There is a repaired flake to the underside of the rim(see photos) This affected a tiny portion of the edge of the rim. Some minor crazing has developed on the bottom of the interior and there is a bit of wear to the glaze. The way the blue flows into the white and then back again makes this hard to see but it is duly noted. Dating to the 1920's, it's a nice period Arts and Crafts piece. And only find similar items listed as Chinese. the vase is@ 9.25" tall. the landscape scene surrounds the entire vase, and the detail is extremely fine and raised in places. the only defect that I find, is that the bottom has been cut out. I would imagine this was done in order to convert it to a lamp? The neck has been stapled with 6 staples and it appears a very clean repair which would restore I think quite easily. The lid has internal staple repair but they dont appear on the outside and look to be there for hairline repair. Overall a very Impresive Piece. This stunning Antique Art Deco Glass Vase has to the front a Semi Nude young Woman in raised relief. The Vase dates to around the 1920s and stands approximately 9.75 inches high. With a diameter across the top of approximately 5.25 inches and across the foot of around 4 inches. The Vase weighs approximately 916 grams. It is in superb vintage condition. Free from chips or cracks. There are some tiny air bubbles here and there. But of course these were present during the production process and are part of its character. There is only minor signs of water marks towards the bottom of the Vase and I have made no attempt to remove these. I have photographed the Vase at all angles in order to help with the description but if there are any questions then please contact me via ebay messages. A beautiful addition to any Antique Art Deco Glass collection.

These would have originally have had pestles to go with these but these are now missing. The ormolu is just exquisite with golden highlights at all points up and down on this piece. The cabinet measures 30 1/2" tall by 14 1/2" across. The marble is a malachite green with fossilized pieces in the graining. The piece is in excellent condition for its early 19th century age. But it does have some tiny losses in a few top spots at the base and the top. We mention for accuracy as nothing is really seen. ANTIQUE SILVER PLATE DECORATIVE VASE This vase is one of the treasures found in Great Great Grandmother's trunk. I know it goes back to the early 1800's as it has G.G.Grandmother's nick name etched on the front of vase. It is quite ornate with it's little bug on the handle. Lily of the valley flower and gold type trim along the handle. It is very unique. Markings on the bottom show a circle with two hammers crossed at the handles, the No. 3001 and the name, Wilcox Silverplate Co.they were located in Meriden, Ct. Not an expert. Antique Persian Copper Lotus Vase-Circa 1920's
This is a beautiful copper vase that measures 9x5" that I found at an estate sale. In researching the history of the vase I found it was made some time in the 1920's or so. The picture is showing you a more blue/green tint which I believe is coming from the copper. But that part is actually more gold looking. There is a lotus mark that is stamped on the bottom. One(1) Silverplated Flatware- Table Knife 9" long. Knife has no markings to identify the maker. Beautiful handle that looks like a big column with vines going down and on top a large vase of flowers and it lookd like a gold band around the neck of the blade/handle. It does need a good cleaning as you can see in photos. It has coloring of silver plate and does clean to a shine when rubbed with soft cloth. I do think it may have been a"posey" vase but has lost it's brass topper over the years. Really gorgeous for display or use. My"Martha" sided has not been out in a while but she is dying to tell you that this would look fabulous with some moss& a few of those smooth river stones with a single silk orchid planted in the middle(Actually she said a real orchid but I dummed it down because I know my thumb is not green! Blown of Green and Crystal clear glass. Stick/ tube shaped vase with pinched thorns. Rim is cut and polished. No hairline breaks. There is minor mineral deposit. All thorns are present. Except a few tips. The tips are sharp to the touch. There is a few hairline scratches about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in length I noticed a"hair-like" mark on it that looks as though it is part of manufacturing. Base has scalloped edges. Two edges have very tiny chips on the bottom. 12" tall 1-1/8" rim. The base is 4-1/2" This was from my Great Grandmother. I was told this was a Ruckl from a profound antique dealer in Chicago.
