Great 18th c Blown Georgian English Air Twist Wine Glass With Funnel Bowl
You are bidding on a nice 18th c English air twist wine glass. The funnel bowl is drawn into a stem consisting of multiple twisted bands. It rings when tapped and has a rough pontil. It stands about 7 1/8" tall. The foot is about 3 1/16" across and the bowl is about 3 1/8" across. It has a small chip on the edge of the foot and some polishing on the foot edge. There is also some scratching inside the bowl. There are no other chips or cracks. The numbers on the bottom of the glass are inventory numbers and will be removed when sold.Nice early glass. 18th c Blown Georgian Air Twist Wine Glass Folded Foot Conical Bowl c1750
You are bidding on a nice blown 18th c air twist stem wine glass. It has an MSAT stem and has a folded foot. It stands about 6 1/4" tall. The bowl is about 2 1/2" across and the foot is about 2 11/16" across. It has a rough pontil. No chips. Cracks or repairs. There is a large unfused particle in the stem(see photo's#3& 7) and a small particle on the rim of the bowl that can be felt as a rough spot with the finger(see picture#10) There are a lot of bubbles in the bowl. Glass rings when tapped but fluoresces green under black light. Really nice early glass, would be a great edition to any collection. Please email any questions. Good luck bidding.

18th c Georgian English Blown Air Twist Wine Glass With Bell Bowl
You are bidding on a nice blown 18th c English air twist wine glass. It has a bell bowl and the stem consists of 8 threads twisted from the base of the bowl. It is lead glass. It stands about 6 5/8" tall. The bowl is about 2 15/16" across and the foot is about 3 1/16" across. It has a rough pontil. There is a small chip on the foot(see photos 8& 9) and a small scratch(see photo 10) on the outside base of the bowl. No other chips or repairs. Has some bubbles and seeds in the foot. I believe this Bell dates to sometime during the 1950's and beautifully crafted in a simple yet elegant design. It combines a clear Bell and Clapper accentuated with a stunning twist within the handle. It has little to no wear throughout and has been well cared for over the years. Steuben Vintage Set of 2 Air Twist Glass Crystal Cocktail Set plus mixer.
Photos are of the actual item I'm selling. I received this as part of an inheritance. I don't collect glass so I thought I'd pass it along. I saw this set the other night being used in Hitchcock's movie"The Birds" The box is a bit worn but the mixer and glasses look great. When I took it out of the box to take the photos it was the first time the box has been opened in at least 20 years. The only wear I can see is light scuffing on the bottoms as usual and a little scuffing on the stopper where it is inserted in the neck.

This is what we believe to be a pair of modern. Hand blown, air twist goblets dating from the late 20th century. The glasses are in excellent condition for their age. This means. Of course, that they show some age related wear and tear to the rims of the feet and bowls consistent with age and use. They have polished out pontil marks in the centre of the feet. The glasses have funnel bowls measuring 10.3 cm(4.1 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowls are extruded to short stems with a multi series air twist. And conical feet which measure 8 cm(3.2 inches) in diameter. The glasses are 18 cm(7.2 inches) in height. There are no chips. Cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
