Antique Sterling Silver Overlay Alvin Blown Glass Pitcher, Jug #2
This is an antique blown glass pitcher with Alvin silver overlay. It appears to be a much-loved vessel from around the turn of the century. The body has a panelled look.it is smooth on the outside and ridged on the inside. There is a polished pontil mark on the bottom. It is signed on the upper rim near the handle. To the right of the handle is: 999/1000 FINE and the Alvin"A" mark. Next to that is: D 1264-2. The rim is silver covered. The overlay is carried down 3" in front and 1.5" around the back. It is a design of flowers. Vines and leaves. There is a blank cartouche under the spout. There is a 1" section of silver missing just to the left of the handle. Pics 9& 10) This is not very obvious; infact. I did not see this when I bought it. Otherwise. The overlay is in fine condition and great detail is still evident. ... moreIt stands 7" tall and is 4.25" wide excluding the handle. There are no cracks. Chips or repairs to the glass. Antique Glass Syrup Pitcher, Tin top Pat. July 15, 1884. cast in top
Listed is an antique glass syrup pitcher. It is in very nice condition. There are no chips or cracks in the glass part. The handle is perfect as is the rest of the glass body. The top looks to be made of tin and it is spring loaded to keep it closed. The hinge still works fine. However, the spring that holds the top closed has come loose from the top and I don't want to try and reattach it, as I don't want to damage the top. The top has one small dent in it which I'm sure you can see in the pics. It is pretty minor. The inside of the top has a Patent date cast in it as you can see in a few of the pics. It reads: PAT. JUL 15. 84. The pitcher is 8" tall. 4 1/2" from front to back of handle and almost 3 1/2" wide at the base. This pitcher is in wonderful condition for it's age. Please feel free to ask questions.

Pitcher Glass Antique Enamelled Blue Ruffled and Four enamelled tumblers
Outstanding Victorian Ruffled Enamelled Painted Blue Pitcher Number 1054 on bottom of pitcher. It is mold blown with four enamelled mold blown enamelled painted tumblers. The painting is in good shape on the tumblers with a small amount of loss. On the pitcher the painting is almost mint. There is some gold loss on the pitcher. And some gold loss on the tumblers. One of the tumblers has the bubble which depicts that it is mold blown. The pitcher has the number 1054 The pitcher is 10 inches high with ruffled top which is 5 1/2 front to back. The pitcher has an applied handle. The tumblers are 3 7/8 inches tall and three inches across. This is a very beautiful set of Victorian glassware. It appears the enamelling has been applied by hand.

Luscious color and a lovely design combine in this Sandwich glass pitcher. The pitcher is in excellent condition and works as a functional serving piece as well as a display piece. Imagine pouring lemonade or ice tea from it or placing a beautiful bunch of flowers in it. The pitcher features cranberry crackle glass in a perfectly round bowl with four impressed scallop shell designs and a clear smooth glass handle. I bought it from an antique dealer in 1969 and she attributed it to the famous Sandwich glass production. The pitcher measures 7" tall and its globe is 7" in diameter and is free of chips and cracks; there is a small age scratch on its handle. The handle is clear with clearly defined ribs all the way around. There are mold lines along the sides that stop at the bottom edge-the bottom is clear. Circa 1880s Unique swirl pattern with a threaded base and top under the lid. Original lid. Textured pattern. No chips or flea bites. There is a heat check by the applied handle. This occured when the handle was applied to the body. Very common occurance with hand blown glass because of the intense heat needed for the application. It does appear as a crack. Wonderful ANTIQUE VINTAGE IRIDESCENT GLASS PITCHER TANKARD & 3 GLASSES! NICE
This is a very pretty vintage iridescent glass pitcher and glasses. The pitcher is a lovely wavy design with a bubble bottom secition. It has an applied handle with a blue/ black tint to it. The body of the pitcher has an amber iridescent glow. The three glasses are a clear glass with a rainbow iridescent look to them. They have the same wavy design but are a clear instead of amber color. All the pieces are in very good condition. No chips or cracks. There are a couple minor spots of wear in the iridescent covering. The pitcher is made of solid. Sturdy glass while the glasses are finer. Thinner glass, more fragile. The glasses will hold about 8 oz and the pitcher will hold about 48 oz. This is a very lovely iridescent glass pitcher and glasses. This beautiful Victorian pink satin art glass vase is just gorgeous! It was hand blown and the sweet little wild flowers are all hand painted with enamel paint. This pitcher is double layered with the pink glass on the outside and the liner being of white satin glass. The handle is a soft clear satin glass and the pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. It is perfect. These lovely satin glass pieces were very common during the late 1800's and very desirable. Measurements: 7.50" tall by 5.50" wide at it's widest point. I think is italian of late 19th century or early 20th. The pitcher seems hand blown with an open pontil on bottom. The surface of body is rough with a lovely design of three flowers etched with hand painted gold details and gilt edges. Stepped base in clear glass. With gilt lines. The handle seems attached and handmade. It has some big bubbles in glass. The two tumblers or glasses have the same stepped pattern and flowers, internally have multiple facets.
