I have for sale a Victorian pub Ale glass or Rummer dating to 19 th century. The glass stands 13.5 cm(5.25 inches) high. Has a rim diameter of 7.5 cm and a foot diameter of 7 cm. The glass has a bucket shaped bowl and a capstan stem. The foot is plain with visible gadget marks. It is made of heavy. Hand blown English lead glass of nice colour and dates to approx. 1880. This 19th century thumb cut rummer glass is in very good condition. It is 4.5" high and the bowl is 2.5" in diameter and is a nice example. Low start and no reserve. Please check my other items. With fairly heavy wear to the base and rim, as you would expect. It is not chipped or cracked. But there is an odd mark in the glass above the moulding which is from a fault in the mould- certainly it was made that way and it is not later damage. Lovely shape. very tactile. The quality of the glass is good enough that I do not believe this to be of the period when this style of rummers were made which would be 1600-1700's, but it could be an antique reproduction from the 19th century. There is a small and expected amount of under base age associated wear and tear. H eight of the glass is 6.85 inches. Bowl diameter is 3.4 inches and foot width at 3.4 inches. Here is an antique German or it maybe Russian rummer glass. It has writing on it but I don't know what it says. It looks like there maybe the word Russia. It looks to be dated M.S. 1896/97. I put the dark cloth inside the glass so you could read the writing. It also has a signature etched on the under base of the foot which is to small to photo. It looks like Gebr. Goedecke. Hannover. The glass is 7 1/2" tall. There are no major chips or cracks. There are three very minor flea bites to the underneath of the base. Please check the photos and ask any questions.

Victorian bucket-bowled tavern rummer
This is what we believe to be an English. Bucket bowled, tavern rummer dating from the late 19th century, c1870. The glass is in excellent condition for its age. This means. Of course, that it shows the age related wear and tear to both the rim of the bowl and to the rim of the foot commensurate with almost 200 years of use. The bowl is nicely striated. The glass has a bucket bowl measuring 7 cm(2.8 inches) in diameter at the rim. The bowl sits on a short. Capstan stem which leads to a roughly made plain foot which measures 6.8 cm(2.7 inches) in diameter and carries a T-shaped gadget mark. The glass itself is 14.1 cm(5.6 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration. It's a bit wobbly on its foot which has not been made completely flat. This is a very interesting 5" tall goblet often called a"rummer" It has a rough pontil mark and was at least partially hand blown. It appears possible it was initially mold blown forming the bowl and basal petal flutes then drawn into a spiral ribbed stem and finished with a circular base. These are all the makings of an early 1800s"Georgian" rummer. But then we have the finely etched and gold filled inscription"William Jones 1869" with some additional flourishes. The name is so common it ... moreis no use trying to identify the owner or his home continent. I see nice Georgian rummers offered for more than $100. Common examples with plain stems can be had for 45 Pounds or about $70. Plus shipping from the UK. Variously described"Georgian Rummers" run the gamut on e-bay. This auction is for a Large Antique CRYSTAL 4 1/2 inch HIGH BALL Glass. The glass is in Excellent Condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. The glass is beautifully ENGRAVED with Shamrocks and Roses and has a polished PONTILE on the bottom- the glass must have seen considerable use over the years as the base of where the glass rests is heavy scratched. Shamrocks and Roses are commonly associated with Queen Victoria. I do not know if this glass has any connection. The glass measures approximately 4 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches across the top and has a weight of 427.7 grams(almost 1 pound of crystal) and is engraved 1871 and with the initials L.W. There are 13 cuts or facets circling the bottom of the glass. The glass has a slight tinge darkness or a smoky color to it. Please see my items! Antique Pressed Glass Sherry Glass from the Rummer Hotel, King's Lynn - C. Wales
A genuine piece of King's Lynn history. This sherry glass was press moulded in a three piece mould somewhere around the last decade of the 19th century. It was then transfer printed with the logo of the Rummer Hotel Kings Lynn and the licensee name C. Wales. Richard Charles Wales was the licensee of the Rummer Hotel from 14/04/1890 until 04/02/1906. The Rummer Hotel stood at 1 Tower Street. The glass is in very good condition. Unfortunately the years of use has effected the transfer printing. The glass weighs about 203 grams. LOVELY 18TH CENTURY DUTCH / GERMAN FOREST GLASS RUMMER ROEMER, pontil
18th century Dutch or German roemer/ rummer/ römer white wine glass with vertically ribbed cuppa on a stem with three prunts and a flat trailed glass thread on the transition between cuppa and stem. The stem and the cuppa were blown and tooled as one piece. The glass stands on a trumpet shape foot made out of a single wound glass(fused coil) thread applied to the base of the stem. Small rough pontil scar below the base of the stem. The green color metal is soda glass with some small impurities. Small-tiny air bubbles and nice swirling. Height; approx. 13 cm. Diameter of foot rim is approx. 6.7 cm. Diameter of cuppa across the top: approx. 5,3 cm. Excellent intact condition. No chips. Cracks, stars or repairs. Good old use wear below the foot rim. It has the word‘Bristol’ etched on the underside of the foot. Bristol Blue Glass has been in production since the late 18th cen and is still being made today. Condition- This item is in used condition with some wear and tear in keeping with no chips. Please study pic for condition. Pair Georgian/Victorian glass rummer drinking glasses
Please note most of my items are in used condition) so they will have some wear and tear- N.B. Item description- On offer today I have a charming pair of georgian or early victorian glass rummers/goblets or what ever they are called which have a lovely etched patterns on them. I do notice that when tapped on their edges they do have a lovely ring with 1 being deeper than the other which I assume is due to the fact they have been hand blown and the thickness of glass does vary- I am unsure too their age. Item condition- This pair ... moreare in good condition with some wear and tear in keeping with their age and being used. I see no chips/cracks, it does have the odd air bubble and straw marks and sit a little uneven though in keeping with this type of glass- Standing approx 5" tall and with the opening being just over 3" across. Etched to either side with the motto REMEMBER ME within a floral/ foliate scroll, and the foot with a T shaped gadget or tool mark- please see photos. A lovely 3 part mould blown Victorian thumbprint rummer glass. Circa 1880. It has a rough snapped off pontil to the base. The glass looks pink in the photograph. But it is clear glass. 5.25" tall. 3.25" diameter at rim. In perfect condition.

Excellent clambroth and vaseline or uranium glass rummer. It is in excellent condition with do damage or repair. Please check out the rest of my early glass pieces. If you notice the one negative feedback listed for damage in shipping. Please take into account that the person's idea of damage was some minor scuffing to the book spine and he sent extremely abusive emails threatening a negative feedback if I didn't discount the price. I immediately offered a full refund plus return shipping which would have been done without his threats. I received no further emails, no books and one negative feedback instead. I have shipped porcelain, furniture and fragile cameos with no problems whether they were 10.00 or 800.00 and even though I have had external damage to the packaging, the items still arrived safely. Moser Vaseline Uranium Glass Roemer Rummer 19th Century
Absolutely fantastic 19th century cut vaseline or uranium glass roemer or rummer. It is all panel or slice cuts on the stem and bowl and is a beautiful vibrant green.
