Greetings ebayers! This auction is for a very nice antique opaline glass trinket box. It measures 4 1/4" high x 5 3/8" x 3 1/2" It is unmarked but I believe it might be French. The glass is in excellent condition however the hinge has some damage. Two sections of the hinge are on the box but the third section is attached to the lid. It looks like someone might have tried to glue it at one time but I think it could be repaired by the right person. Despite the damage to the hinge is a beautiful opaline box! This wonderful pair of opaline glass vases are hand painted with exceptional portraits of young maidens with lovely green foliage backgrounds. The portrait panels are trimmed in gold gilt and highlighted by gold enameled cartouche design. The rim at top and base are gilded as well. The back has enameled gold gilt star type design. I believe the vases to be Bohemian or French origin. The outside of the vase has satin finish while the inside is glossy white opaline. No plug on it. It was hard wired for the photo. The only thing to mention is the cups have little grind nicks on the edges but they were done in the making. You do not see this when it's hung. Antique French Pink Opaline Satin Glass Vanity Jar Hand Painted Gold& Cobalt Detail(mid- late 1800s) This gorgeous piece of antique. French Opaline Glass, made during the mid-late 1800s, is primarily pale pink in color. Most likely part of a decorative vanity set, this powder jar has a round, bulbous body and a lid featuring what is often referred to as a'tussy mussy' finial(crown shaped) The interior lip of the lid sits perfectly into its round base, which stands on a low foot. Both parts of this piece are hand painted/decorated. The jar's lid has various gold bands(two with gold dots) Surrounding a thick circle of cobalt blue. This cobalt blue band features a hand painted, foliage garland in gold. Its finial is trimmed& detailed in gold as well. The stem connecting the finial to the lid is actually made of white, opaline ... moreglass. The body of the piece features various shapes& decoration in gold; the centers of its gold circles are black. I believe this decoration might have once been highlighted in red. The glass is further enhanced with two different hand painted portraits/scenes. The first scene is of two 18th Century lovers in an intimate embrace. They are in a European court yard or garden setting. The second portrait scene is of an 18th Century woman who is peering from behind a tree.probably at the couple. All the characters are in noble dress and the scenes are exceptionally detailed. They are painted in a cameo style with each having ... morea border of raised, blue paint beads. The lamp is not visibly marked(I did not take it apart to look for marks) It does, however, have the look and character of Sevres. The lamp hardware is also exquisite. It is French Dore(gilded bronze) with exceptional and ornate design. The base features a raised square section where the glass body rests. It is adorned with a very stunning overlay of thick gilded bronze in a curved Acanthus leaf and Neoclassic pattern. This section creates the footed design of the base. Beautiful Green with Brass Cagework! Here is a lovely green opaline glass perfume bottle from France. Probably from the 1880s. It is covered with elaborate brass metal cagework in a floral/vines design. The metal lid is hinged and opens to reveal an inner glass stopper. On the very top there is a picture of a French garden scene(maybe the Tuileries in Paris? Note the fourth photo taken with a flash which reveals the gorgeous green color as reflected through the bottle from a white background. Size is 3-1/2 inches tall. No marks. We believe this to be of the Victorian Era, circa the 1840's, French in origin. The Opaline glass is hand painted in gold, with'Remember Me' framed with curving leaves or branches, with a bow beneath, and a small leaf tip on either side(photos#2& 3) The problem is a tight hairline that runs the length of one side(photos#6& 7) In the last photo of the interior, we note a wee chip, about a third of the way down, and just left of center, perhaps the start of it all. There is also a tight hairline at the base of the handle where attached to the body, most likely from manufacture. The handle is very secure. We're sure if this lovely could speak, it would have a tale or two to tell. Despite it's shortcomings, it is a sweet survivor looking for a new home. Estimating

Here we have a triplet set of three antique French glass containers in the lavish palais royal style of the 1850s of Emperor Louis Napoleon through the 1870s. Baccarat is credited with making this style with the diamond pane hand cut wheel work. These are hand blown. With smooth polished pontils, ormolu mounts, and glass in the rare seafoam blue green color. Robin’s egg blue is the most common occurring color in these opaline containers and the seafoam green is the most scarce and desirable. This set has three graduated containers: a biscuit or cookie jar. A bonbon jar, and a sweetmeat jar. The handle on the biscuit jar has an early form of the Provins rose, which is similar in shape to the Tudor rose, but is actually Rosa Gallica or apothecary rose, well known in Europe since the middle ages. VTG Large Victorian French Blue Milk Opaline Hand Painted Gold Trim Glass Vase
Very Large 14.5" Tall. There is no writing on the bottom, but I did do some research on it, and I found this vase is probably late 1800's early 1900's. It has two different colorful floral scenes that was hand painted. Crimped and ruffled top edge, Detailed hand painted gold design around top and under the flower scenes, and the bottom has a ring of gold. The widest part is 7" the bottom of the vase measures 3.25" Blue Milk Glass. I have had this vase for many years, I seen it at an estate sale, and fell in love with it. I can't remember how much I actually paid for it, but I just could not leave without it. I hope whoever ends up with it will enjoy it as much as I have. Good Luck!

Has a snake wrapped around it's neck and the remains of 4 what I believe were Hand Painted Flowers as well as a very small amount of gilding around the belt of the vase. The vase has an open pontile.
