HERE IS an EARLY Victorian CELERY VASE WITH the original blue GLASS insert. THE SIZE of the frame: AROUND 7 INCH TALL. 3 1/2 INCH DIAMETER FOR the top rim for THE GLASS INSERT. The Middle cup is 3 1/16 in DIAMETER at the top. The base of the bottom is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. THE MAKER is MERIDEN B. COMPANY. EARLY NUMBER 44, SCALE LOGO. THE CONDITION is EXCELLENT. NO DENTS. THE UPPER RIM IS PERFECTLY ROUND. THERE ARE NO MISSING PIECES, SOME TARNISH, SOME MINOR WEAR TO THE PLATING commensurate with age. THE BLUE GLASS JAR IS ALL ORIGNAL TO THE HOLER. IT IS 4 1/2 inches TALL. 3 3/16 inches in DIAMETER at the ruffled top and 2 1/2 inches in DIAMETER at the lip of the base which fits perfectly into the bottom of the cup holder. Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn Victorian Antique Vase c.1888-1920 Signed Dickmann This artist signed antique Victorian Royal Bonn porcelain vase. Manufactured in Germany by Franz Mehlem, has been consigned to us from a local estate. It is in very good condition. I see no chips or cracks. It was not until I was photographing that I noticed a pencil point size flake in the paint only, as shown in picture#13. This is a rare find. It features a handpainted floral design with applied giltz and measures approximately 9" tall. Signed by artist M. Dickmann. The bottom is stamped with the Franz Anton Mehlem factory mark which was used from 1888 to c. 1920. There are also impressed and handpainted numbers. Royal Bonn is the trade name used by Franz Anton Mehlem(FAM) during the Victorian era. The factory was later purchased by Vileroy& Boch ... morein 1921 and closed in 1931. Large antique Victorian custard glass handpainted cottage scene vase c. 1890's
You are bidding on a large antique Victorian custard glass handpainted vase. It is circa 1890's and measures 12" in height. Approx. 7" in width at the widest point and approx. 5" in depth. The lovely handpainted decorations on the vase feature a house with trees. Water, mountains and a lovely sky view. This picture is surrounded by beautiful leaves and flowers. The handpainted items on the vase are in excellent condition; however. The band of gold gilt trim at the top of the vase and the two bands of gold gilt trim at the base of the vase are worn and I estimate that they are only 20% intact and the gold gilt decoration of leaves and stems on the back side of the vase which measures approx. 2 1/2" in height and 1 1/2" in width is worn. I estimate that this gold gilt decoration is only 80" intact. There is ... moreone small rough area on the outer rim of the vase. It measures approx. 1/4" in length along the outer edge of the rim on the back side of the vase(the side that has the small gold gilt leaves and stems decoration on it. There are no other rough areas and no chips or cracks.There are a few small black areas on the top of the rim of the vase- the largest of these measures approx 1/8" in length and 1/16 in width. The other three measure approx 1/32" in diameter. The inside of the vase is not discolored and the vase is actually in excellent condition for its age. This item will be shipped within the United States by USPS standard mail(previously called parcel post) and the cost will be $14.65 which will include insurance. This Measuring 6" tall. This very ornate cranberry glass vase could be described as High Victorian. As can be seen from the photo, there is a small spot of damage below the raised sunburst/ flower prunt, also to the tips of two of the radials.There is also a very small nibble to the tip of one of the feet. Antique Large Victorian Majolica Vase Double Handled Rare Cockerel Scene
Superb example of Victorian Majolica Vase. Highly decorated and moulded original vase. Estimated to date from around 1850-1880. Features a wonderful central scene of cockerels in a farmyard. Could be French in origin. The vase is large and double handled and is quite a curio with lots of different glazes and patterns about its surface. Majolica items like this one are increasingly hard to find on the market& would suit a collector. This vase is in need of some restoration- you can see from the photo that there is damage to the lip of the vase(a chip) and there are two hairline cracks also in the same area. This is a pretty Victorian pink to cranberry diamond pattern Mother of Pearl or air trap vase. It is 6 1/4" high and approx 4" in diameter at the widest. It is gradually change shades from pink at the bottom to cranberry at the top with a white interior. The pontil mark is polished. It is free from chips or cracks though it does have minor imperfections in the diamond pattern which I have shown in photos. Still very pretty! For your consideration is this great victorian era vase. The opaque glass reminds me of satin glass. It has a hand painted silver rim top. The motif is enamel with applied coralene glass beads. The coralene on this vase if fine and well done. It proudly displays a daisy flower and stem. This would make a really nice addition to any antique art glass collection. In the right light the coralene glows on this vase! It stands 6 inches tall. The top is 1 1/2 inches wide and the base is 2 1/2 inches wide. Antique Blue Bristol Vase Flower Victorian Hand Painted Gold Enamel Ruffled
Hand Blown and Painted pair of 19th century Bristol Vases. Pale Blue at the top. Pale Pink bases. Highly textured painting. Insects on the fronts(inside the Gold area) appear to be painted beads and all four are intact. 1) vase has some unusual surface chipping on the back which I have tried to highlight in the photos. A circular chip( or ring 1/2' X 7/8"near the center on the back and a 1/8" X 1/4" chip near the upper body. Again, on the back. Looks like someone tried to fill them with fingernail polish. The other vase has no blemishes. Both vases were apparently used for their intended purpose at some point in their life and both need to be cleaned. If I do it, I'll sure as heck break one! 1860's Purple Art Nouveau Tall Bohemian Victorian Hand Cut Glass Celery Vase Jar
Hello- This is a gorgeous antique vase. Measuring approx. 13 3/4" tall with the lid, 11 3/4" without the lid. The mouth top of the vase is about 4 1/2" with a 3 3/4" inch waist, and about 4 1/2" at the base. This vase is wheel cut by hand, painted by hand and mouth blown. I tried to show the"ripples" in the glass, it is truely beautiful if your into glass. This is a very old vase, and there are some condition issues, but NO SIGNIFICANT CHIPS OR CRACKS. Condition: This vase had a sterling silver hand rolled trim lining that has come off. The silver that is left is in"bad condition" BUT you can still see the hand scrolling in the leaves(incredible! There is a sterling silver band around the base. But that does have some gouges/nicks, and is dull. The lid was found at the same SF Bay Area Flea/Farmers ... moreMarket table. But I'm not sure it goes with the vase. It just fit, so I picked it up and put it together. The lid had a tiny nick, and I filed it smooth so it isn't very noticable. Any questions. Antique Victorian frilled cased glass vase red white metallic inclusions vgc
A Victorian era deeply frilled red and white cased glass vase flecked with metallic inclusions. This lovely vase has been in my collection for 30- 40 years. During which time it has been safely inside a display cabinet. Th e vase has a rather opulent shape. With a deep, double frilled rim. The inner layer of glass is clear with large blobs of red and white. Into this a quantity of what looks like metal flecks has been added. They can be felt on the inside. The outer casing layer is a pale honey gold. Which imparts a golden effect to the flecks. There is a smooth base with a ground and polished ponti l. See Pic 4) T he frill is completely intact. This tricorn top vase stands 4 3/4" tall and has a maximum 3 1/2" diameter. There are 3 gold panels with pink. White, yellow and blue flowers. Between those panels are white and yellow flowers on a white lattice background. It's well finished, having a ground and polished pontil. I see vases like this described as Moser but I don't feel it's up to their quality level; however, it's still a well done attractive piece.
