c1890 VICTORIAN "Jack & The Beanstalk" MERIDEN Silverplate w/Blue LILY VASE
Offered for sale is one of the neatest pieces I've found in a long time! It is a Victorian silver plated holder with an opaque blue lily vase insert. The holder was made by Meriden Silver Plate Company and it depicts JACK& THE BEANSTALK! This piece measures 7 1/2" to the top of the vine and 3 1/4" across at the base. The bottom has a Meriden trademark and is numbered"536" The vase is 8" long and 3" across at the top. It is nicely decorated with fancy white floral enamel. I don't know the maker(perhaps Bohemian?any info appreciated. Both the frame and vase are in very good estate condition with no damage. Wear or repairs noted. A SUPERB VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN GREEN HAND-DECORATED GLASS VASE/PITCHER/JUG, FLORAL
A superb Victorian/Edwardian green glass. Hand-decorated vase or pitcher. This lovely pitcher belonged to my Gran who was born in the late 1800s and it has been blown from a very pale green glass(can best be seen in the inset photo) that has been hand-decorated with a pattern of flowers and foliage in greens and yellows. Added beauty comes from gold detailing on and around the leaves and flowers. It stands approximately 11 1/2" 29cm) to the top of the handle. Has a depression in the base where the pontil has been removed and is in excellent condition with no marks or damage. The inside of the base is stained by its use as a vase. Up for auction is a very beautiful antique jade green color blown art glass vase with lovely hand painted green ferns and blue bands with gold"bead" flowers. There is a darling transferware on the front of the vase of a Victorian child that is playing"Peek-A-Boo" The vase is tapered slightly and it is 9 3/4" tall and 3" wide at the base and the rim has a diameter of 2 1/2" The mouth of the vase has been painted red. The blue is capture of the Quilted Diamond pattern. Then fades to a more golden yellow colour at the bulbous part of the vase which reminds me if a pineapple. The rim is crimped in four sections. There is a ground pontil mark of the base. The yellow does have magnesium content and will react an orange glow under a black light. 13" tall. The rim is 5-3/4" diameter. The base is 2-1/2" and overall it's 4-1/8" wide. No marked. North American. British and Bohemian glass makers did produce various Mother of Pearl decors. I believe this is Bohemian. This is a small vase I picked up at an Antique Auction this last summer. It is not in mint condition but it is in good condition with a small chip at the rim and an inside crack line that does not show on the outside. It is a Victorian style piece with colorful flowers of pink blue and yellow on the front with green leaves to accent and blend the flowers. It is a cream colored vase with beautiful handles again Victorian style. This item measures 8" tall x 3.75" round at base x 2.5" wide at opening at the top. We unpacked this from our Mother's things yesterday. Not sure of the value. As we are not collectors. We remember this as children, so it has to be 55 plus years old. Beautiful. Feminine, and interesting. We noticed 2 of the tiny flowers appeared to be broken off of vase. Not easily visible. But not in mint condition, Measures 5 inches. Opening is 2 inches. Antique German Hand Painted Floral Porcelain Urn Vase ~ c 1880 ~ Victorian
This is an Antique German Hand Painted Porcelain Urn or"Pitcher" Vase from the late 1800's. The overall shape is classical. This vase has a wonderful cobalt blue glaze on the top portion against a dusty pink colored Iris flower whose stem forms the handle. Below the cobalt is a stunning large hand painted floral enamel on matte glaze. The reverse has a smaller painting and the base is asymmetrical and curved. This piece would probably best be described as Victorian with a touch of Art Nouveau. It stands 11 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Condition is excellent with a very small chip on the lip that was not noticeable until rubbing with a finger(see the last photo) The bottom of the vase is marked with numbers only and appears to read"7142" and"82. Outstanding example of a circa 1860 Staffordshire animal spill. Both horses are in a soft peachy chestnut color with hints of gold. They are charmingly modeled with separate legs for the mare. And a separate head for the foal. The spill was artistically done in greens and browns. With yellow bleeding through. The base depicts a small stream running near the figures. Adding to the piece’s romantic notion. The back of the spill shows deep indentations in the modeling of the spill itself. Along with nice color on the horse. It is a very pretty example of this model and would be wonderful to view at eye level or to make it into a lamp. Since it is large enough to be able to place a fairly bulky shade on it. Victorian/ Romantic French Style Antique Vase/ Makers mark -gold rimming
This vase has been down through my family so all I know is that is was my great grandmothers and I am 50. I would guess it's date to be late 1800.S to early 1900,s. It appears to be glazed ceramic, porcelain, or both. It has a mother of pearl glaze and its beautiful rainbow colored along with the gold rimming on it. It stands 21" high and 24' in circumference by handles. The bottom has a stamp of MADE IN TIAWAN with a makers mark of DR in a circle. If anyone has any info they would like to share or questions I would love to hear from you, if not bid accordingly. Thanks(will try to get better pic of makers mark in sunlight to add when its sunny)

Up for sale we have a large Royal Bonn vase in the shape of a Ewer. This is a very fancy Victorian piece of porcelain. It is adorned with lots of raised mold detail and enameled hand painting and gold. This piece is very lovely and jumbo in size. The over all condition is very good. But it does have some chips on the bottom edge. One is the largest. And the others are more like flea bits(see pictures) The Vase stands 16 1/2" tall and is 4 1/2" across in dia.
