This exceptional antique Victorian claret jug has a tapering cylindrical cut glass panelled form. Onto a star cut colet foot. The claret jug is fitted with an exceptional English hallmarked sterling silver gilt mount. The mount is heavily embellished with chased floral and scrolling leaf decoration. This impressive claret jug is ornamented with cast sterling silver gilt mask decoration to either side of the mount and the underside of the spout. The lower portion of the mount is embellished with a shaped pierced decorated border. The claret jug is fitted with a hallmarked sterling silver gilt domed cover surmounted by a flame style finial. The sterling silver gilt handle is embellished with chased scrolling decoration and ornamented with a cast silver gilt mask to the lower terminal. The claret jug is fitted to the original hinged oak presentation box. The box features brass fittings and a vacant rectangular silver cartouche to the exterior front cover. A large Victorian milk glass vase. In excellent condition with no damage or repair/ restoration. There is very slight& minor wear/ rubbing; unusual to see such a large example in such fine condition. It measures 16.25 inches in height( that is 41.5 cm's) is 7.5 inches at its widest point. The decoration is very nicely done. More photographs can be provided on request. WONDERFUL Victorian blue glass vase. Opaque bright light blue. Almost to turquoise, hand painted. Probably from around 1900. No makers mark. Very pretty! Excellent condition. No chips, no cracks, in the base it looks like a hair was caught in the glass as it was being blown, a lot of the gold paint has been worn off. Size- 4" wide by almost 10" high. Ruckl. Kralik and others produced spatter decors in many different shapes. This style of spatter decors and shapes preceded before the Czech Deco Export years. Many of the same decors can be found in various shapes to collect due to mass production. Vase is cased glass with applied thorn base. Inner layer is opaque white glass. Exterior has an end of the day mix with red. Orange, yellow, pink, and green. Crystal clear casing has a pressed dimple pattern with four, fine rib panel sections on the vase. Applied thorn base has many pinched thorns. Rim is cut and free of chips. Vase has no hairline breaks. Applied base ... morehas a couple(2-3) of chipped points and 95% of thorns are complete. Excellent condition. Measures 7-7/8" tall. 1-1/2"diameter rim and the base is 3-1/4" diameter. The ewer is a rainbow spatter mix. Handle is crystal coloured glass with a pressed" reeded" pattern. Cut rim is at a slant. There is an air bubble on the cut rim. And it is long with trapped debris, as pic will show. It's not a hairline break. No chips. Victorian Clambroth Blown Art Glass Vase Bristol o Smith Bros Hand Paint Peaches
Here is a wonderful art glass vase from the Victorian era. It is a semi opaque clam broth glass vase with a pontil on bottom. It stands about 5" high and has a bulbous base with a small neck and a ring collar. I am a little unsure as to the origin. It is definitely old. And the shape reminds me of Bristol Vases from England, but the lovely hand painted peaches and stems and leaves all around the piece look more like an American style of decoration, so I'm thinking maybe Smith Bros. If anyone out there can definitely id the piece, I would appreciate the information. It is a slightly yellowish and greenish semi opaque clam broth with many tiny white inclusions in the glass that give it a somewhat speckled appearance in places. It is in excellent condition. A few flake chips on top of the rim with some inner roughness which this does not distract. Applied decoration has no visible damage. However. VTG Large Victorian French Blue Milk Opaline Hand Painted Gold Trim Glass Vase
Very Large 14.5" Tall. There is no writing on the bottom, but I did do some research on it, and I found this vase is probably late 1800's early 1900's. It has two different colorful floral scenes that was hand painted. Crimped and ruffled top edge, Detailed hand painted gold design around top and under the flower scenes, and the bottom has a ring of gold. The widest part is 7" the bottom of the vase measures 3.25" Blue Milk Glass. I have had this vase for many years, I seen it at an estate sale, and fell in love with it. I can't remember how much I actually paid for it, but I just could not leave without it. I hope whoever ends up with it will enjoy it as much as I have. Good Luck!

Here we have a gorgeous Mt Washington Wild Rose Peach Blow vase with an applied amber handle. This is a really nice old small vase from a very respectable glass company from the mid 1800's into the early 1900's. It starts at the bottom with a lovely light pink and finishes at the top in a robust deep pink. It has a amber colored applied handle that the era was known for. There is a rough texture on part of the handle and I cannot tell if it's from air bubbles or rubbing on something. The rim. What I think, has a couple of very small nicks around the outside part but only in a small spot, possibly where it was originally used all the time? I don't know. It does have a couple imperfections in the glass but as anyone knows with a lot of old hand blown pieces they can add to the piece. Mt Washington, Crown Milano,Victorian,Cream,Orange,Pink daisies,Gold Enamel Vase
I found this at an estate sale 15 years ago. I believe this is a Mount Washington. I'm not sure if this is pairpoint or Crown Milano. It is from the victorian era with pink daisies and gold enamel overlayed on creme and deep orange. The pictures are a perfect description of the color. The glass looks satin on white.Base white is opaline. There is a slight pontil mark on the bottom and the top of the vase is very smooth, like it has been ground off. It is 9-1/2" high and has a 1-7/8 across the top. The widest part of the bulb is 14" in diameter. It has no marks. Probably had a paper label that has since been removed. I have never cleaned it, just stored it in my cabinet. This comes from a smoke and pet free home. Insurance required. Thanks for viewing!

American Victorian Glass Vase, French Blue Ruffled Over Pink Glass, Handpainted
Excellent condition. Antique cased-glass vase is made from a layer of pink glass, covered with a brilliant sky or French blue layer. It has hand-painted pink flowers and vines. The footed base once had a thin band of gold trim, but it appears to be worn off, this wear is about 1 1/2" long. Rough pontil on the bottom. No chips. Cracks, rough spots, stains or missing paint, other than the above mentioned. Vase stands just under 9" tall, the bulbous part at the bottom is about 4 1/2" in diameter. I am not sure of the maker. But it is cased glass, painted in the Mt. Washington style, but you may be the judge of that. It could even be an early Fenton piece, as they copied all the greats. I do know that it is old, and feel it is definitely part of the American Art Glass category. Georgeous unmarked handled Nippon ewer. Can also be considered a pitcher. Or could be used as a vase with sprigs of greenery. Lots of hand painted details, including flowers, cobalt trim and lots of gold enamel beading and trim. Medallions of mums surround the vase, including the neck. Background is white and robin's egg blue. Nice size at 9" tall. Very colorful porcelain decorative piece! In excellent condition. I can find no damage.
