Victorian Childs Fancy Scrolly Porcelain Spill Vase This is a lovely transfer decorated Victorian porcelain spill vase showing 2 young girls on the front. A single flower on the back. It has fancy scrolly handles with sponged on gold. I believe it was hand decorated. The bottom is signed"Peg from Grandma" The decal of the girls has a couple of crease lines further indicating that this was not professionally done. The vase is probably a German blank. It measures 6 1/2" high. There is one slight chip on the inner rim edge. Otherwise excellent condition. Thank you for looking.

Victorian Art Glass Milk Glass Vase Applied Amber Leaf Handle Fenton GOLD CREST
Antique milk glass vase was hand blown and has a hand-applied amber leaf handle. The rim is ruffled and crimped and outlined with amber glass. In the manner of Fenton's Amber Crest. There is a concave divot where the pontil was ground away. AGE: Antique or Vintage. This is not my area of expertise. But the applied leaf and deeply ground pontil point to it being around 100 years old. SIZE: Just under 5 inches high. MARKED: Unmarked. CONDITION: Excellent condition. There is no damage. Foot has very fine wear. Commensurate with its age. Shipping will be by USPS Priority Mail with insurance. I normally ship packages on Saturday. Thank You!

Monumental Victorian Art Pottery Floor Vase Hand Painted Signed Cobalt Flowers
This auction is for a Monumental Victorian Floor Vase Beautifully Hand Painted in Cobalt Blue Flowers and Signed by the Artist. At nearly two feet tall. The Ceramic Vase is a Stunning Piece of Art Pottery that Displays Wonderfully and would instantly become the focal point of any room. There are no makers marks so I am not certain of the age or the exact era this piece was made. But by the feel and the form. It is clearly from the Victorian Era between the mid and late 1800s and likely of British origin. It is sign on the bottom H.C. Bell. The artist had a beautiful stroke with the brush. It is in very good condition. Especially for its age. The colors and images are clear and bright and POP. The Vase is a bulbous form with a flared mouth and a thick band of cobalt painted at the top and the bottom. One section of the middle is painted with ... morelili-like flowers. Also in cobalt; the other side is pained with a different form of flower. It's like having two vases in one: When you grow tired of the one design. Turn it around and you have an entirely new vase. The vase is also decorated with Gold touches throughout- sponge applied throughout as well as lines of gold that outlines portions of the flowers. There are no chips or cracks or repair. Which is remarkable given the size of weight of the piece. The piece has crazing throughout. It only adds to the character and authenticity of this vase. There are several areas that show drip like toning(see last photo) It doesn't detract from the overall appeal of this Fabulous Piece. The vase measures a massive 23 inches tall. It has an opening that is 11 inches wide. The vase at its widest point measures about 14 inches across with a base of about 10 inches. The piece weighs 23 pounds and will require a very large box. That is represented in the shipping cost. Which also includes insurance. I only ship within the contiguous US and only accept PayPal. Description This listing is for a beautiful 12" tall amber colored vase with a paneled optic. It features a beautifully painted spray of flowers on the front. Because of its height and the size of the spray. This is an eye-catching piece. It has a slightly recessed. Polished pontil. There are a few internal bubbles that were done when the piece was made. The only sign of age is wear to the gold trim that was on the top of the opening, which is almost completely gone. There are no chips, no nicks, no cracks, and no stains. Definitely made in a Victorian style but it could also date to the very early part of the 1900's. Overall condition is very good but as the pictures show there are several minor nibbles to the points at the top of the vase. The other issue I would like to mention is that it looks like at some point the feet may have been a bit longer and that the bottom parts were removed. Not entirely sure but take a good look at the pictures and decide for yourself. The vase measures about 6 1/4" in height and 3 3/4" across the top edge. I dare to say that the glass may be of Czech/Bohemia origin. Ruckl and others produced spatter decors in many different shapes. This style of spatter decors and shapes preceded before the Czech Deco Export years. Many of the same decors can be found in various shapes to collect due to mass production. The vase pictured on the left. Is blown of cased glass with a bulbous shape and has an applied tree trunk style base. Interior is opaque white and the exterior has honeycomb pattern in a rainbow polychrome mix. Applied crystal clear base, 3 out 4 have tiny chips on the bottom edge. Entire glass is cased with crystal clear glass. Vase has no chips on the rim. No hairline breaks were found ... moreon the vase or applied decoration. Excellent condition considering age. Any damage is mentioned for accuracy, as the vase displays lovely. Measures 4-1/2" tall. 2-7/8"diameter rim and the base is 3" diameter. The vase pictured on the right from the gallery. Is blown of cased glass with a a bulbous shapes and has applied tree trunk style base. Interior is opaque white and exterior is a oxblood, blue, green and yellow spatter mix. Cased in crystal. Applied base is crystal and a few of the tip have chips, but is of no distraction and does not effect the stability of standing upright. Rim is cut and is a nice scalloped edge. There is a minuscule chip on top of the cut rim. Does not distract. Found by touch. No hairline breaks or mineral deposit. 4-1/2" tall. 2-1/2" diameter rim. Footed base is 3-1/2" diameter. Intricate Enamel Painting& Gilt ~ ~ ~ Measuring just under 6” tall with its widest diameter being about 4 ¼” rim diameter– 3 3/16” base diameter– 2 ¼” this exceptionally beautiful vase is the result of superior glass work& intensive highly skilled intricate hand painting. Between each coin spot, measuring ½” or less in diameter, the artist delicately painted an elaborate“honeycomb” of thin flat shiny gold with a 5 petal flower at each of the six corners. Then pink& white enamel was applied by hand forming long pink petals& buds as well as fewer white petals& centers around& on each part of the gold“honeycomb” pattern. A pattern of 5 pink enamel dots was placed on each coin spot, barely suggestive of the other pink longer petals. The pattern on ... morethe coin spots is not all symmetric or the dots even of the same size. The ground base shows wear, but there is no other evidence of wear or damage. An eye-dazzler, amazing when you consider how labor intensive this example was to create. Such a design to imagine, plan, then execute. Beautiful Late 1800's Dresden Porcelain Urn/Vase. The urn is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There is mild surface wear(nothing uncommon or age) The urn has a gorgeous yellow porcelain rim and center side background with beautiful painted flowers and gold accents. Both the front and back face of the urn have a romantic Victorian scene with a woman and man. The handles of the urn have a Trojan/Soldier mans face that is painted and accented in gold. The urn measures 15" tall. 4 1/4" across the top, 11" wide from handle to handle, and 4 3/4" across the base.

This is what we believe to be a late Victorian hyacinth vase. Dating from approximately 1880. The vase is in excellent condition. This means. Of course, that it shows some wear and tear to the base and elsewhere commensurate with use. The vase is of baluster shape and is amber in colour. The vase rim measures 6.5 cm(2.6 inches) in diameter. The bowl flares out into a baluster shape with a base which measures 9.5 cm(3.8 inches) in diameter. The vase is 14.8 cm(5.9 inches) in height. The vase measures about 6 1/2" tall and is about 6 1/4" in length. I believe that this is Imperial. It is marked on the back bottom righthand side- there is an oval with a mark inside. Which I cannot make out clearly and a number incized next to the oval that reads 10049 or it could be 13049. There was gold embellishment on it but it has worn mostly off. The top is flat but I cannot be sure that it is cut down because it looks like it was done at the factory to me but I wanted to mention it. Nippon Decorated, Victorian Vase Seen As Movie Prop in "Sleeping With The Enemy"
The vase was purchased from an individual from Wilmington. NC, where"Sleeping with the Enemy" was filmed. It is shown in the entrance hall of the murder scene on a side table. It is an antique probably made c. 1900 in Japan. Not withstanding having been in the film, it's a highly collectible antique in it's own right. It is massive standing 17 and 3/4" tall and 9 and 3/4" at it's widest point. All hand decorated the center panel has five types of flowers. Most of the body has applied raised decoration in white. There is also lots of gold paint for accent. A copy of the movie is included.

It measures 10 1/2" tall to top of rim and 7 3/4" in diameter at the top. There is an area for engraving on both sides but it is not engraved or monogrammed. I have not been able to determine the maker's name but if someone knows what it is please feel free to let me know. This is in very good condition with nice patina and the usual surface scratches consistent with the age. There are a few minor dings on underside of the rim. These are barely noticeable under the rim but I like to tell it all. It is being shown as found and I have not cleaned it. See pictures for details. It has been used and has very few scratches to the surface. Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Art Glass Hand Blown Pink Peach Blow Vase Enamel Bird Flowers Bristol or European. A beautiful hand blown vase from the Victorian era that is either European or could be Bristol Glass. It also reminds me of vases by British glass artist Thomas Webb. I have seen Fenton Burmese vases that are somewhat similar to this style. But my research indicates this is not a Fenton piece. The pastel pink matte satin body of this vase is hand painted in what appears to be enamel paint. With a large blue water bird and multicolor floral decorations. The neck graduates into a deeper shade of glossy pink that opens into an elaborately ruffled, folded and asymmetrical rim. This style is also referred to as Peach Blow aka peachblow. Top rim measures 3/4" in diameter.Bottom measures 1" in diameter. Hand painted decoration of lily of the valley(raised) with brown leaves. Indentation in center of bottom. Probably blown glass. Description This antique circa 1870's Victorian Opaline glass vase of pale opaque buff colour. Has a rich red amber colour when held to a light. It is hand blown of rounded body shape with waisted flaring neck and ball above the stepped shoulder with opaque enamelled flowers and foliage. This nice little vase, ideal for wild and delicate garden flowers, has a ground and polished rim and no pontil mark. It is in good condition apart from the gilded rim is very worn with only traces left and there are a couple of little nicks which were done when the rim was cast and polished. Height 16.6cm.
