This beautiful Victorian pink satin art glass vase is just gorgeous! It was hand blown and the sweet little wild flowers are all hand painted with enamel paint. This pitcher is double layered with the pink glass on the outside and the liner being of white satin glass. The handle is a soft clear satin glass and the pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or repairs. It is perfect. These lovely satin glass pieces were very common during the late 1800's and very desirable. Measurements: 7.50" tall by 5.50" wide at it's widest point. Superb Victorian Porcelain Wash Bowl Pitcher Set United States Pottery Champion
This auction is for a Fabulous Victorian Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set made by United State Pottery of East Liverpool. Ohio in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is in the company's striking pattern known as Champion. The bottom f each piece is marked"Champion" in script. The set Displays Wonderfully and will instantly become the focal point of any room. The pitcher and bowl are decorated in a vivid red thistle like flower and leaf pattern against very white porcelain. The set is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks in either piece. There is a small spot in the pitcher below the handle where the porcelain has flaked off(see last photo) There is also very faint straight line crazing mark(see photo 11) and a small tannish mark both near the base of the pitcher. The bowl has several black dots ... morethat might come off with a good cleaning. None of the issues detract from the overall appeal of this Great Set. These are three unmarked porcelain items for the Victorian bathroom. a pitcher. Chamber pot and a large pot I cant find a name to. All are in perfect shape with no chips or cracks. There is normal ware and fading of the gold trim and crazing on the items. these are gorgeous items and can be sold together as a set or individually. I have them listed together but can make other arrangements if interested. There is no bowl to the pitcher. I have shown in the pictures all to be seen. I will list measurements tomorrow. Up for auction is this Victorian silverplate small pitcher or creamer from the Meriden Silverplate Company. Marks on the bottom include: MADE AND PLATED BY THE MERIDEN SILVERPLATE CO. 01415 U.S.A. The pitcher is about 5 inches tall and 5 inches wide at its lip and handle. The pattern is floral and appears cut into the metal. In the center is a place for a monogram. But none is present. The pitcher has wear consistent with its age. I can't see any dents. But there is tarnish and some corrosion, so I'm not sure how well this would polish up. 1879 Reed& Barton Victorian Silver Plate Tilting Water Pitcher w/ Goblet The pitcher on its stand is 17 inches high and 10 1/2 inches in diameter. There is a handle on the pot but also a handle on the stand made to carry the pitcher out to the awaiting guests. The cup matches the pot with the same model number and is 6 inches high and 3 1/8 inches diameter. In some of the pictures it looks like the cup is tilting toward the pot. I think this is intentional. If you rotate the cup the correct direction. As I figured out a bit later, it sits straight on its stand in relation to the pot. The interior lining is in relatively good shape with some crazing and maybe a hair line crack. I took it out washed it and took photos so you can see the markers information on the bottom There are a couple of small dents on the front of the pot. But they ... moreare barely noticable. A Beautiful Amber Jug/Pitcher with Blue Twisted Pump Handle. Victorian
This is a very attractive jug. The amber body has been mould blown and possibly even'shunted' two moulds pushed together) in the centre. The pontil mark has not been smoothed out and the punty rod may have used some of the blue glass as a gather. The handle is a beautiful blue colour glass. Twisted and attached in the pump form ie attached first on the neck of the jug, a method superceded in the mid 19th Century. There is no indication of maker or country. I think this is probably late 19th century English The jug is in very good condition. The jug weighs about 675 grams and is approximately 19 cm in height. Up for your consideration is a beautiful silver plate pitcher made by Sheffield in England. This pitcher was made in about the 1880's. The craftmanship is superb on this piece. The detail is amazing. This pitcher measures 8-1/4 from the bottom to the highest point. And is 7-1/2" wide. Not including the handle. The conditon is good. There are no visible ding or dents that I can see. However there are quite a few spots where the copper is showing through the silver plate. It only enhances the beauty in this piece. I have not tried any cleaners on it. Wonderful silver plated water pitcher! Produced by the Middleton Plate Co of Connecticut. I suspect it dates back to the 1870s or 1880s. Period design with engraved flowers on body& large conch shell under spout. Looks to have a ceramic layer under silver with inner liner. Imposing size at 12-1/2" high. 6-1/2" diameter at lower band. Heavy at 5 pounds 4 ounces. Marked as shown. Condition is very good! Plating shows virtually no wear through. There are a few minor pings in body& a couple on upper lip but nothing serious. Up for bid is this VICTORIAN CUT GLASS& SILVER PLATE TOPPED WINE/CLARET DECANTER or PITCHER. Measuring 11 1/2" tall; 4 1/2" diameter base; 6 1/2" handle length; 1" spout with beautifully cut criss-cross diamond pattern in 3 places centered between 3 horizontal lines and cut diagonal stripes under each diamond. Spout features some raised work. Neck, spout and lid are silver plate, but I believe the handle is pewter, as it does not tarnish. I can not find any markings on the server as to maker or pattern and do not know the country of origin. There is a small hair line 1/4" bubble scratch under the bottom cut ring between the 2 diamonds when handle is facing left. Please see last picture. The matching bowl is marked on the bottom with a crown. Wreath and shield and a name that I can't make out. I don't know who the maker is. The pitcher has some hand written numbers on the bottom. Size- the bowl measures 15 3/4" in diameter and is about 4 1/2" tall. The pitcher is about 10" high. Condition: The pitcher has a chip on the top of the handle and there is some wear to the gold gilt trim. There are also some small chips on the bottom rim. Antique Porcelain Baby Christening Mug Pitcher Germany Victorian Baby Cup 1800's
Antique Porcelain Baby Christening Mug/Pitcher Stamped Germany 12 in red on the bottom and has the numbers 34 then 435/01.2 incised on the bottom around the rim. Dates to the 1800’s I have not been able to find a comparable online; I believe this was used as a christening vessel. Unique and in wonderful condition for its age less a small 2inch hairline down the side from the rim. You cannot feel the crack it just looks like a very thin line, otherwise there are no other chips or repairs. The shape is very unusual and quite lovely it measures a little over 3” tall and about 5” from spout to handle. Very sweet and unique in all its Victorian charms!
