A lovely rare Victorian-era chatelaine amphora shaped perfume or scent bottle. With an enameled pansy on the front. I believe it is 800 silver plated brass, the little screw lid is marked 800) it appears that the silver plate has worn off of the back. There are some little dents to the back to as shown in the pictures. The top screws on and off with no issues. It measures about 2 7/8" from top of lid to bottom point. Victorian Perfume Metal Mesh Bottle in Great Condition
A very unique metal mesh covering both sides of the bottle with 5 blue stones or glass on each sides. The bottle is almost 4 1/2 inches tall. The screw on lid is metal also. I do not see a maker or name on the bottle. The mesh does come off in one piece once the screw top is taken off. The screw top with the long piece of glass is heavy. The pin is 2" and the glass base 1 1/2" with the dauber extending out the other 1/2" the dauber is 3/4" long) All in excellent condition with no chips. Nicks or cracks. The perfume glass base is clear while the dauber is deep amber. The dauber has what looks like a rubber ring that keeps it securely in the perfume base and stops the perfume from drying out. Making it hard to be able to tell the makers name, next to manufacturer is a small e for the date, then a full figure lion, and then the lion face( London and sterling mark)The glass appears to be cut glass without any pattern. I can't remove the stopper. The top of the stopper has a ridge in the glass, possibly to hold a cord? It is a Victorian era piece and from a local estate where the previous owner was from Quebec. From the early 1940's. This dresser set is gorgeous and very hard to find complete! Resembling Candlewick, this set contains 2 very large perfume bottles and a lidded caddy. The glass is very old and heavy, perfume bottles are 7.25" tall and the dish is 4" in diameter. One of the bottles has an interior ring where it once held fragrance and although I found no cracks and these appear to be in very nice condition for their age. Here is another wonderful very old bottle from my personal collection. I have had it for many years and decided to bring it out for the holidays to see if any one is interested in it. This bottle is a true antique at least 100- 130 years old. made of glass and very fine filgree with gold ormolu. as you can see in the pics. It has a large blue smooth caboncon stone bezel set and on the sides it has 4 panels that have 3 blue stones each. non missing. the bottle still even has its long glass dauber. I find it interesting that the glass has rounded panels and notches along the sides. CONDITION; I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT THE BOTTLE IS IN WONDERFUL ANTIQUE CONDITION. the gold ormolu is mostly all there. the filigree is all good. This lovely antique perfume bottle is made of sterling silver and cut glass. The top features a large emerald colored crystal and there are 5 emerald-green colored crystals around the sides. Below the cap. The rim is marked Sterling and has a‘B’ with a sword through it which is a trademark for Blackington& Co. It is also marked with the number 8185. The lid closes with a snap and there is no stopper. The piece is in excellent condition and measures approximately 4 and 1/4 inches in length. The hand-cut glass is exquisite. The Victorian perfume bottle likely dates back to around the 1880’s and would be a nice addition to a collection or a nice piece to start a collection.

19th Century Victorian Milk Glass Perfume Bottles With Stoppers
A very rare find. These mid to late 1800's milk glass perfume bottles are sure to be a great addition to any collection. Have not come across anything like these. Most bottles of this era and type feature an embossed woman's face inside the beaded oval area. These appear to have had a hand painted image. These bottles stand 7 3/4" tall without stoppers and are 4" wide at widest point. Only flaw is that the stopper for on bottle has been broken and appears to have been cleaned. I have not washed or wiped these at all as I do not want any of the paint to come off or the true aged beauty of them desecrated.
