Victorian Bristol Vanity Perfume Barber Bottle/ Cruet/Decanter w Stopper We are pleased to offer this lovely Victorian era BRISTOL Satin Glass Perfume/Cologne Barber Bottle with Crown shaped stopper. This beautiful hand painted glass decanter is hand blown with a pontil mark on the bottom. It features a wide 22k gold band in the center with enameled decoration. It stands 9 1/2" tall. The stopper does not fit down completely into the neck- appears to be the original stopper but not sure. The fuschsia dots on the crown stopper match the fuschsia teardrops in color on the bottom. It has a few little nicks on the end of the stopper and a straw mark on the neck(very minor) otherwise it is in excellent condition with no nicks. Chips or cracks. Here is a beautiful Cut Glass. Double Ended perfume or scent bottle in Cobalt Blue. It measures 5" long and has hinged brass caps. Decagon in shape which most of the double ended bottles are Octagon(10 panels rather than eight or octagon. There is a dent in one of the end caps but both hinges work good. The bottle originally comes with glass stoppers that the caps conceal and they are missing. Also it has a small chip on one panel. Absolutely beautiful! Please see the pictures before you bid.

This astounding vinaigrette pendant comes mongrammed, looking like sterling, although I found no markings and believe it to be plated. The lid of this handsome jewel opens to reveal an a round or blotter paper to be soaked in perfume. The jewel still closes with a sturdy"snap, and the back of the jewel is left with a smooth finish! SO FABULOUS! During the early 19th century. The city streets were filled with unwholesome and unpleasant smells; a lady of fashion would wear or carry a vinaigrette locket such as this so that she could smell only the perfume and not the filth in the air and pollution in the streets. I have seen hundreds of vinaigrettes over the past 15 years, but never one like this! This example is a novel and functional jewel, and the pocket watch motif is a real rarity! It is cut glass with a sterling top, which is lined with cork. It has been used not long ago; you can still smell perfume in it. It is marked with the"UB" of Unger Brothers and"Sterling 925 Fine" The screw-on lid has a monogram, either"H" or"J C" depending how you read it. The flask measures 4 inches long by 3 inches wide. In the Spotlight Tonight ~ A magnificent Victorian hand held/lay down filigree bottle in the most gorgeous shade of Ocean Blue…and I mean GORGEOUS! The thing that makes this so unusual is the glass is conformed to the filigree. As if it were blown perfectly into the metal cage. Very, very unusual! Measurements are approximately 4” long& 2 ¼” at the widest, so this is a good size bottle. The top is etched with a“58” The maker to me is a mystery- Moser? Baccarat? Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a pretty Lilac colored Iridescent glass perfume bottle with Floral Enamel paintings. This glass has such an unusual finish to it. Kind of like carnival glass with it's iridescence. It is hand painted with little white flowers and gold leaves. The white enamel flowers are in good condition but there is some fading to the gold leaves and details. This bottle will take a screw in atomizer but I was never able to find an antique one. I did find the next best thing ~ this nice floral topped glass dauber. The dauber is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It fits well and goes perfectly with the style of the bottle, I think. The bottle is likely c. late 1800's- early 1900's. The bottle is in excellent condition. No chips, cracks ... moreor repairs noted. There is a scratch to the metal collar that looks like a split but it is not. It is a shallow mark and does not go all the way through. The bottle is very clean inside and out. With the dauber in place the bottle is about 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches across at the widest part down near the bottom. This gorgeous perfume bottle stands 10" tall. Is 4" wide and base measures 3 1/4" across. It is made is a lovely gold-brass tone ormolu filigree. The glass is beveled, and pink or light amethyst in color. There is a cherub in between the glass, coming out of a blossom. Everything about this bottle is perfect. Well kept and lovely, except that the dauber is gone. I can see the end of it still in ornate bottle top. That is the only condition to mention- the glass vial inside it perfect. Victorian Brass Chatelaine Walnut Shaped Powder Compact w/ Perfume Bottle & Pins
Imported from France it was designed to be suspended on a chatelaine and inside it contained a powder puff in one half with a smelling salts or perfume bottle in the other half with places for up to 5 pins. It is a brushed brass color and in perfect shape on the outside. On the inside of the compact the right side houses a smelling salts or perfume bottle that has a cork closure. It has 4 small black tipped pins around the bottle. The other side of the nut is where the compact is stored. The mirror is missing but the frame of the mirror is still there should you wish to replace it yourself. The price of the compact reflects the missing mirror. This is very sought after compact and is a cross collectable for perfume bottle collectors and sewing enthusiast. I am unsure as to whether this is a Double Scent Bottle or a Nodder. It is in the form of a Pair of Cats and stands approximately 4 cm high by around 3.5 cm across. I am confused as to exactly what this is because the head of the left Cat rotates 360 degrees but does not come out. Although it is possible to lift it a little from the body. The right head is broken at the neck as can be seen in the photos. Victorian Trade card Murray and Lanman's Florida Water,Perfume,New York,Roses
This is an average sized card. One of the few about perfumes outside of the Hoyt Company. Florida conjures an image of tropical ease and the scent of oranges which this cologne had. The back has extensive information and if interested ask me to take a picture in focus. The card is in good general condition with flowers and some fancy fonts. Florida also reminds us of the imaginary Fountain of Youth the Spanish conquistadors were seeking. Murrary and Lanman were druggists that apparently sold but also owned the perfume company which was introduced in 1808! This must be one of the oldest products ever advertised on trade cards. According to wikipedia this perfume is still being sold with a slightly different formula. It haa a fascinating history as it has been produced in China for about a century and in the South many sports teams throw some ... morein an ice chest believing it refreshes people. It is thought to have been the most popular perfume in the world circa 1880's. This product was sold as Murray and Kemp for a while so placing an age on this card is very difficult but it came with trade cards, possibly all from the 1800's.

Antique Victorian Stearn Perfume Bottle
This lovely creation was made by the Frederick Stearn and Co. of Detroit. Michigan during the late 19th Century. Established in 1855 it was one of the leading pharmaceutical and perfumers in the U.S. This gorgeous example is made of heavy glass with faceted stopper. The bottle is in Good Condition with one tiny fleabite on the lip and bubbles and imperfections in the glass made during it's creation. The stopper is also in good condition with a few nicks in the very bottom, one fleabite on the top of one facet, and one nick at the top of the base of the stopper. This unique item know as a CHATELAINE was worn as a ring during the early 1900's. There were many styles and keepsakes made for them. This one consists of a 2.7" pen(broken off inside but still turns up when twisted) marked STERLING. A 1.5"coin holder with a push button top marked GER.SILVER and a 1.75" perfume holder? pillbox? small key holder? marked GER.SILVER. The ring itself is.75" in diameter. Antique Victorian hand blown gilded glass tear catcher or perfume bottle
This is a mid-Victorian. Hand blown glass bottle. Bottles in this shape were sometimes used for perfume and sometimes for mourning as a tear catcher or lachrymatory bottle. It's said that a widow would collect her tears in the bottle and empty them on the grave of her husband on the anniversary of his death. This bottle measures 5" and. Remarkably, still has its original stopper. It retains almost all of its gilding on the top, bottom, sides, and stopper, though it has rubbed off in some places from being handled. The sides are etched with crosses for grip. No chips or cracks.
