The Vase is one of the finest examples I have seen with a nice Hand Painted Topographical Scene to the front. Gold Gilded Foliage all around and exceptional Bisque Porcelain and Gold Gilt Mythical God faces to the handles. The Faces really make this Vase, ... morethey are quite well detailed and actually much nicer than my photos show. The Vase features a nice Kelly Green background, which I am told is quite Rare for Paris Porcelain and I have never seen another quite like it. The Vase is also one of the largest and most impressive examples of Paris Porcelain that I have seen measuring 16-3/4" tall by 10" wide across the handles. The Vase is in excellent condition throughout with minor wear and could use a good cleaning, but shows no chips, cracks or repairs. You can see there is a drilled hole in the bottom I believe it was at some point mounted as a lamp and I am sure if you desired it could be made into a most impressive lamp again or it displays beautifully as a Vase. Vtg Hand Painted French VASE w Gilt Bronze Metal Lip/Base& Handles: Bottom Mark Up for sale is a vintage hand painted French porcelain 6.25" tall vase with a gilt metal(I believe bronze but am not certain) lip. Top handles and base that is marked"Made in France" As in the last photo the vase is also marked with 3 initials can't read the first so it's?FS. The floral painting is accented with metallic gold. There is some what I believe to be glue showing where the metal has been reattached at some time. I imagine this residual could be removed but I haven't tried. The metal is missing some gilt around the lip but this is a lovely piece. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several years old. Please note that my shipping time is up to 5 business days as I have multiple ... morejobs and can only ship one day a week. If you happen to purchase after I return from the post office on shipping day it will be a full week wait until I am able to ship again. The front of the vase depicts a classically attired young Maiden collecting water and on the back a classically styled floral decoration is featured. The vase is 13 1/2" tall. This is a very cool Gerbino Vallauris flower frog ball vase in a pretty mosaic flower or floral design. There is a defect which is original to the piece which is a small crack by one of the frog holes towards the center hol e. It is about 3 1/2" tall by 3 1/2" wide. Look at the pictures for a better d e scription. It is in good vintage used condition as shown. The pictures do not do it justice. Please keep in mind any imperfections tend to be exaggerated by magnification. This would make a great gift for someone you love or for yourself. Please check out my other c ool jewelry items. I am pleased to offer this marvelous. French faience tulipiere from famous. Strausburg potter. Paul Hannong(the. Mark is underglaze blue dating. 1740-1760) This great piece of tin. Glaze pottery has the beautiful hand. Painted pink floral decoration which. Made the Strausburg area famous. And. There are nine holes for tulips! It is. 9" wide and 7.5" high. And it is. Absolutely rare and fabulous! Condition: there is one glaze drip. And. There are flakes to the top edges of. Some of the openings. Other than those. Little issues. This is nearly perfect. Charming Blue Opaline French Portieux Vallerysthal Art Glass Vase
This beautiful Portieux Vallerysthal vase is one of two listed this week. This vase is in very nice condition other than some light gilding loss. It also has a couple of manufacturing flaws as the bubbles are shown in the third picture. It is marked P.V. France on the bottom. It is a lovely piece of glass. the vase is 5-5/8" tall. And 3" in diameter. This and many items that I am currently selling came out of a magnificent Washington DC area estate from a prominent MD- Pennsylvania family.

The Vase features a Porcelain body with antique white or cream colored. Gold patterned background, surrounding what I believe to be, a charming hand painted pastel focal Cherub. The reverse side of the Urn/ Vase features Floral Rose and Torch motif. Both center motifs are trimmed and decorated in blue accented raised gold gilding. The Porcelain body is mounted in Cloisonne in gold decorated dark and light blue colors. Also has gold colored ornate handles. Brass opening at top and at the bottom base and in between Cloisonne. The Vase measures approximately 7 7/8" tall. It is heavy with the porcelain body having a solid feel to it. ... moreThere are no identifying marks but I believe it to be possibly French in comparison to other similar Cloisonne and Porcelain Cherub painted Urns and Vases. This beautiful French Art Glass Vase measures about 10" tall. It is in very nice condition with only light wear to the gilding. Opaline Glass was at the height of popularity in France around 1860. I believe this piece probably dates to around 1900. It is not pontilled. But has some wear to the base. It is really a stunning piece of Opaline glass.

Circa 1870’s, French Sevres hand painted porcelain covered urn with gilt bronze mounts. The urn measures 17 inches or 43 cm high to the top of the finial on the cover. And is 5 inches or 12.5 cm at its widest. The covered urn is tall and beautiful; it has a pastel pink ground with a hand painted cartouche at the front and back. At the front is ... morean intimate scene of a mother and her son sitting on the side of a creek. She lovingly rests her hand on his head as he plays her a tune on his flute. The piece is signed on the lower right“DAM” At the back is a large and colorful floral bouquet. The both the cover and body are decorated with heavy applied gold. The covers also have elegant hand painted scenes. The urns have gilt bronze ram’s head handles holding wreaths in their mouths. The bronze has a gilt gold patina or color which is all original to the pieces. The top of the lids are marked with a Sevres mark with a triangle inside it. Below it is“S41 FRANCE” The condition overall is good. There is an old hairline in the lid which has been repaired at some point in its life, the rest of the porcelain is in excellent condition. The gilt bronze patina has darkened somewhat with age. And there is minor age appropriate wear to the heavy applied gold. A fabulous antique Art Nouveau pewter and green glass vase. The wonderful pure Art Nouveau pewter decoration still has it's original 2 green stones. It's very Liberty's.esque. The slightly translucent green glass has no chips. Cracks or nibbles. It's very much as it was made but could do with a gentle clean- been used for flowers over the years. Baccarat French Cameo Jugendstil Nouveau Art Glass Uraniuim Green Vase w Orchids I just purchased this antique French Cameo vase from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The vase is characteristic of the cameo designs produced at the Baccarat glassworks in Lorraine. Circa 1900. The vase has an elegant Art Nouveau/ Jugendstil design showing orchid blossoms on two faces with extensive foliage at the feet. The stencil executed cut back decoration shows nice detail and crisp line. The piece has a striking color scheme with green/ uranium glass ground(fluoresces brightly under UV/ blacklight) covered in a deep ruby. The surface is hand painted with gold enamel highlights which are in very good condition with only light wear. The ruby casing on ther lower 2/3s of the vase appears flat in some of the pics, it's actually the same deep gloss ... morered as the collar decor. The piece measures 10" high, 3 1/8" at the shoulder and 2 ½" square at the top rim. The base has a large ground/ polished circular pontil mark. The vase is in excellent condition with no damage, the interior is clean with no mineral/ water staining. There are a few tiny spots on the edges of the design(around two of the petals on the tallest orchid) where the ruby glass was pitted or flaked during grinding and were painted over with gold. This lovely vase would make a nice addition to any collection of Baccarat Cameo or European Jugendsil art glass. A friend on the Glass Message Board was kind enough to share Helmut Ricke's(Glasmuseum Hentrich) attribution of the same vase. International bidders. This beautiful Longwy French Faience Art Deco Vase measures about 10.25" tall and is in nice condition other than the neck which appears to have been broken off and ground down. I am truly not sure. it is quite beautiful none the less. It has strong Art Deco design which includes the geometricized form with a linear repetition in the design faience work. Finally it has beautifully simplified and geometricized floral elements carrying an open ended frieze of flowers around the body of the vase. This leads me to believe it dates from around 1920-30. It is being sold as-is because of the condition of the neck.

For sale is a superb vase made by Rue de la Fontaine au Roi(aka La Courtille or Locre) in the 18th century. Vases are rather hard to find by them and this one is a really nice one! The vase has a typical shape for the period but the handles are amazing- they are in the shape of angels with a little head and wings that have lots of detail. The vase has a handpainted scene to the front of two birds sitting on a branch in a landscape surrounding with the backside having a scene of lots of nice flowers in a basket sitting in a landscape surrounding. Lots of nice gilding to the piece as well. The vase is marked underneath with the crossed swords type mark often passed as off as Meissen which was the point of it back then as well as some incised letters that look like PB but are hard to read- these are also quite typical on Paris region porcelain. ... moreThe vase is 10 inches tall. 5 inches wide from handle to handle and has a top diameter of 5.25 inches. The piece is in great condition with a little wear to the gilding, one tip of a wing was broken and reglued and the screw mechanism that holds the base and main body together is a bit loose so the base can turn but that is it. Boehm USA Fine Porcelain HUGE French Fluted Vase ca.1954
This Boehm Porcelain French Fluted Vase is in excellent condition with no chips. Crazing, damage or repairs. The vase was introduced in 1954 and bears the Boehm Studiomark Number 738. The piece is glazed with gold trim and measures approximately 10 1/2" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter at the top. It is marked on the bottom with an early green Boehm Horsehead mark. Buyer pays shipping and insurance at cost.

Really Galle-esque petite porcelain vase signed Vallauris with further initials GA and then one other letter obscured by some stray clay. Really charming appliqué butterfly or moth and signed"Castelpane" on the front. Beautiful landscape scene with a hand painted sky at its most colorful- sunset! The trees and other details in brown and black. Lovely. My Grandmother bought this on one of her many European trips. It could be from the 1920's through the 1960's. I haven't a clue! Antique French Faience vase from Rouen, 6.5" tall
Thanks for viewing! French faience vase from Rouen. France. I believe it to be late-19th c. This has a VERY fine hairline crack in the glaze on the inside. This crack does not show on the outside. It's too fine a crack to take a picture of. And there is a small chip in the yellow glaze on the top edge. About 1/8th of an inch long. In my opinion, neither of these slight defects mar the beauty of this vase. I do combined shipping.
