The ... moreglass is crystal clear and has a creamy white opalescence that runs around the edge and down the side a little- the top of the handle even has opalescence. There is some red fire in the glass when it is held to the light. The lovely pattern is called Eyewinker. But has also been called Cannon Ball and Winking Eye. The design was originally made by Dalzell, Gilmore, Leighton in 1889! Has a slight flare to the side, a short pedestal and flat base for stability. Similar to the water pitchers used at road side taverns in the old days. Stands 8" to the top of the pour spout and 7" at the sides. Easily holds 3 cups(24 oz) The perfect size for iced tea. Kastrup Holmegaard Cased White Glass Decanter Teak Cork Opaline 7648 Jacob Bang
Sleek. Mid century modern white opaline glass decanter with a teak wood and cork stopper. This liquor bottle is circa 1960- 1965 and attributed to Kastrup of the Holmegaard Glass Company for Raymor. It is from the Opaline series designed by Jacob E. Bang, though the paper label has long disappeared. This is also known as Kastrup Form 7648. Cased glass- white on the interior. Clear on the exterior- you may be able to see the 2 layers in the photo of the mouth of the open bottle. While some of the other Kastrup Raymor decanters have been marked with Rye. Scotch, Gin, Vodka and other liquor names, this bottle has not been labeled with any of these markings. Bottle stands just over 13.5 inches high to the top of the stopper. And a little over 11 inches tall without the stopper. Diameter across the base is about 3 inches. Minor wear and a few ... morefine scratches on the glass body. No chips or cracks. Age wear on the teak wood along with some uneven coloring. Cork is intact but also shows age wear. Darkening and a couple of scored lines across the base. Stopper fits nicely but not tightly- there is a bit of play and movement from side to side. Cork is not flaking though it shows signs of age. There does not seem to be any varnish on the teak wood, so there is a bit of roughness to the feel of it. Please use zoom feature to get a closer look at all the photos provided so you can get a better idea of the condition of the item. Elegant addition to any mid century modern barware collection. Please note that colors may vary from monitor to monitor. The teak wood stopper is not as dark as it looks in the main photo but closer in color to the photo showing it by itself. This lovely large lidded bowl would date from mid Victorian era- circa 1840- 1860. Probably French maker such as Portieux or Vallerystahl. However Bohemian makers such as Moser also made similar glass. The shade of green makes me think French. Either way this is a lovely antique collectors piece. Gorgeous Victorian Blue Opaline Vase. Hand blown and hand painted. Absolutely beautiful enameling. It is difficult to capture the true beauty of the vivid colors used and the clarity and richness of the robin blue glass with the camera. The glass and enameling is absolutely in mint condition for its age. Surprisingly the only wear is to the gold bands around the upper rim and lower part of the vase; neither detract but mentioned for accuracy; otherwise everything is perfect. These vases were individually blown and decorated. So no two can be exactly alike. The vase measures 10" H. Mouth is 4.75" W, 18" Circumference at widest part. See Pictures. Pictures are part of the description. I was told this piece was purchased in Italy years ago. Could be a French piece purchased in Italy.

Antique Art Nouveau Bohemian Glass Vase Up for bidding is this antique hand blown Art Nouveau Bohemian style glass vase from the 1920's. The vase is made of a frosted opaline glass with blue and tan overlay finish which has been hand painted with a raised gold and cream enamel floral swag pattern. The vase has some minor surface wear/light marks(see pics 7& 8) and the black trim on the rim has faded in spots(see pic 9) Also there is a small air bubble pop on the inner rim(see pic 10) Other than the aforementioned the vase is in great antique condition with no chips or cracks and shows minimum signs of age appropriate wear. This Antique. Victorian era, novelty opaline glass soap box dated to mid 1800' It is a hand blown into mold piece with polished pontil at the bottom; embellished with scrolls and leaf design in relief. Very decorative. I believe it is a soap box as it has raised ridges inside bottom. The box measures 5" x 4" stands 3 1/2" high to the top of the most charming finial. It is in very good to excellent condition, without chips or cracks. There is a rough spot on inside edge of the bowl, but no chips. Roughness is a characteristic of that period glass production. Early Bohemian Opaline Enamel Glass Finger Bowl& Under Plate with Applied Jewels. C.1860- 1880. This is a very early Bohemian glass finger bowl and under plate made for the Islamic/ Persian market. The opaline glass is translucent with hand painted enameling decorating the plate and bowl with gold gilded accents. There are applied green glass jewels to both the plate and bowl with just one jewel missing from the plate. There are no chips or cracks. But there are a few age rubs(rough areas) to the rim edges on bowl and very shallow flake on plate edge. Both bowl and plate gold gilding to the rim shows wear. Photos display well. Wonderful condition for a set of this age. The plate is 7 1/2" diameter and the bowl is 6" diameter. This beautiful antique clambroth color opaline glass lidded jar or box dated to late 19th century. There is no mark on it. So I'm having a hard time to figure out who made it. This type of glass were produced all over Europe- France, England, Bohemia and Italy a few of the countries who produced this type of glass at that time. Based on the shape, color and quality I believe it was made whether in France or England- Bristol. Both pieces(lid and jar) are hand blown with pontil marks, which is polished on jar and slightly rough on the lid. The lid is hollow inside and can serve as a miniature vase. The jar stands 8 inches high with lid on, it is approx. 4 inches in diameter at the widest. The piece is in excellent condition, considering the age, no chips, cracks or repair. The Serving Bowl is the only example I have had the pleasure to sell with a Blue Opaline Glass insert. In many years and I am sure is quite a Rare find indeed. The Basket Frame features very nice Grape and Vine designs with fancy feet and a lovely Bead pattern Bail Handle, which yes stays up on it's own for display. The Blue Opaline Glass Liner is the original to the frame and fits like a glove. The Outside is Satin Glass and the interior is glossy. The Basket is overall in very fine all original condition with a couple tiny splits in the frame which I am sure could easily be re-soldered and no dents or bends with the Glass Bowl showing wear scratches to the interior and some remnants of painted designs on the outside but no chips, cracks or repairs. The Basket makes for a beautiful display and is a nice practical size for modern use measuring 7" tall to the top of the bail handle by 8-1/4" wide or 2-1/4" tall at the edge with the bowl measuring 1-1/2" deep. I could find no markings but this is quite typical of Victorian Period Silver. I don't think you will find many Blue Opaline Victorian Bride'

Here we have a stunning Rose color Opaline Glass vase. This is Opaline glass with the heavy weight and the many tiny production bubbles. The weight is over 7 pounds. It is large grand and elegant being over 18 inches tall. Covered in hand applied gold gilt and porcelain flowers. Please look at picture of bottom and you can tell this is original Opaline glass. It has no chips. Cracks, or hairlines. It does need a good cleaning as I believe it came from a house where there was smoking. Some all over gold wear, but as you can see it is amazing. A lovely late 19th century Antique French Blue Opaline Glass Chatelaine Perfume Bottle with Bonze cap. It measures 2" tall" tall. The scent bottle is in good condition for its age. On the bronze cap one of the very thin delicate hoops for the chain has broken. There is one extremely tiny shallow flee bite along bottom sitting edge of glass base. Normal wear for age. Hello- This is a gorgeous true French Opaline Lamp. It is double-walled glass. Beautiful clarity and depth. The White Sugar Frosted design is in great shape, with the design repeated on both sides. Really at first glance I thought that they were Cherubs- so this lamp is very subtle. The base and fixture are a little tarnished which is typical for antique lamps. The shade is not included.
