Divine Opaline This is a lovely piece of blue opaline glass; a large stoppered cologne bottle with detailed gold and enamel decoration. Likely made in France around the turn of the century. Though unmarked. The cylindrical bottle has a narrowed neck, flared rim and original hollow stopper. Both pieces have a pontil from the hand-blowing process. The opaque blue glass is perfectly set off by the hand-painted decoration; gold lines and scales with colorful enamel flowers. Given its size, it was likely made as a cologne bottle. The outside of the ewer has a soft satin finish with the inside being a glossy alabaster opaline. It is decorated profusely with applied red glass jeweling and heavy gold gilt enameling. Vintage Opaline Glass Vase w/ Gilt Metal Mounts Cup Dresser Vanity Milk mouseover to enlarge Description Stands about 3 5/8" tall. 2 1/8" across the top to the outside of the rim PLUS the handle. Mounts appear to be brass or bronze with gold gilt finish. Unmarked. Most likely made in France. It definitely has some age to it. Exact age is unknown, but my best guess would be mid-20th century. I believe its intended use was as a vanity/dresser item or small vase. The handle is simply decorative. You can not put you finger through the opening. You would have to hold it between you fingers. It is white with a very slight bluish tint at some angles. CONDITION: Older item. Has not been cleaned or polished. The top mount can lift off. I found one chip on the interior rim(not visible with the mount in place. The rim of the top mount has ... moreone impressed dent on the outside(see photo) and one area with slight discoloration. A few very tiny irregularities along the outside rim of the glass. One leaf on the base has a bend up tip. Not sure if damage or as made. Some wear to gold gilt finish. Opaline opaque blue milk glass SALT & PEPPER SHAKER, basket weave pattern
This antique opaline opaque milk glass set of SALT& PEPPER SHAKERS features the gorgeous Delphite Blue. The pattern is a basket weave. They are 6 1/4" high. The belly's circumference is 7 3/4" and the foot has a diameter of 1 3/4" The color is outstanding and these kind of pieces are not often found. They came from my mother-in-law, who was an avid collector of antique glass. It has now been in the family for 30-40 years, so since they were not new when she bought them, that helps date them to some degree. That is really all I know about them. This is a small perfume of smelling salts bottle with brass mounts. The bottle is made from blue opaline glass and is 2 inches long. The brass lid has a flower stamped on it and the bottle has a design painted with white enamel and gilding. The bottle is most likely English and dates to the late 19th century. It is in excellent condition with no damage. The red that appears in the pictures is a reflection of my shirt in the gilding. The shipping cost includes signature confirmation.

Here are three pieces of white opaline glass. Sort of a frosted Bristol type with enamel decoration. There are two bottles that are 6 1/2" tall. One has glass in the neck, the opening does not go all the way through so it is not usable as a bottle. No chips or cracks, some wear to the gilt decoration. The other piece is a rectangular vase. This is a lovely green opaline glass bottle and glasses set with hand painted floral decoration. The bottle is 8 1/2" high and the glasses are 2 1/2" high. There are no chips or cracks. There is wear to the painted decoration on the bottle. The stopper is metal and cork, the metal has wear and there is a split in the metal. It is a beautiful shade of green and the glass on all the pieces is somewhat darker towards the base; the glasses are ribbed. Also. There is a raised numeral 2 on the base of the bottle, this is the only mark present. I believe this set to be Victorian in age, late 1800's or early 1900's.

Beautiful antique pink opaline basket with a diamond& plume type pattern- if anyone can tell me the pattern name or maker I would really appreciate it. I believe this is either a French or British made bowl and probably from the victorian era. The basket part measures 5 1/4" across at the widest part and is 2 1/2" high. 4 3/4" to the top of the handle. In my opinion a very fine. Circa 1860's Bohemian, large crackle/ ice glass, pedestal footed central table comport bowl. The bowl has a fine wide foot, with a hand applied opaline glass snake, accentutaed with gold. Ribbed gold design to the upper bowl rim, central gold and brass upper banding to the upper foot. The glass is in good order. There is a small and expected amount of under base age associated wear and tear. Rim slice nibble chip. H eight of the bowl is 10 inches. Bowl top diameter is 9 inches, foot base width is at 5.5 inches. Combined postage offered. Heavy glass. At just over 4.5 kg when packed. One of the better examples from my many years of collecting! Opalescent White Opaline Glass Box Waffle Cut Design Brass Fittings
Beautiful opalescent white opaline glass box featuring a waffle cut pattern and brass fittings. This lovely box opens and closes properly and evenly. During the manufacturing process the glass was cut to allow for a fitting that would include a lock but it was not finished in that manner. One image shows the notch. The box is in wonderful condition with a few bubbles and ripples in the glass pattern which appear to be part of the manufacturing process. Minor faint scratches on the bottom from moving the box on a surface. No chips. Cracks or repairs. The brass fittings have some age related patina and one minor scratch on one side. This waffle type of design is hard to find. Measurements: 3 5/8" long. 2 3/4" tall. 2 7/16" wide.

I can't find out anything about this lovely vase. It has a rough pontil. Is about 5 1/2" tall, 3 3/4" wide at top. There are lots of little air bubbles and marks and one straw marks I think shown in the fourth picture. I think this is a very old piece of glass. Offering an Exquisite 19th Century pair of vases. Hand painted and hand enameled, signed by the well listed and celebrated Artist Josef Ahne(1830-1909) Ahne, a German/Bohemian artist specialized in figural decoration based on oil paintings done by Italian and German artists. He was recognized for his work at the world exposition in Vienna in 1873 and won a bronze medal in Paris, 1878. These vases measure 14 1/4 inches in height and 6 1/2 inches at widest point. The lamp body is a large, fluted, white opaline glass vase with a narrow neck and wide lower section. It has been superbly hand painted in a delicate pattern of trailing vines, leaves and English roses. The leaves and vines are green and the roses are pink and peach in color. The glass is further enhanced with two different hand painted portraits/scenes. The first scene is of two 18th Century lovers in an intimate embrace. It is adorned with a very stunning overlay of thick gilded bronze in a curved Acanthus leaf and Neoclassic pattern. This section creates the footed design of the base. There is a circular dore Acanthus leaf spacer at the top of the glass section as well. The lamp is completed with a beautiful silk shade. The shade is ecru to cream in color. The silk is patterned in a tone on tone fashion with rose bouquets. It is also fluted with an 8 sided design. Each section is borded with bric a brac as is the top and bottom.
