We are vacillating between calling these Czech/Bohemian or American. They appear to employ the Bohemian process an enamel applications& embellishments on the Vaseline type green glass bodies. These very well could be American as well. We have encountered both. They have super color and are adorned by hanging cut crystal prisms. Drip cups and brass candle fittings. These are a superior pair of Lusters with nice age that are each 12 1/4" tall with 6" wide bases. We note a few bites here and there and we think the loss of one prism. Pair Vintage Mantle Lustres/Lusters with Charleton Label
You are looking at a gorgeous pair of vintage/Victorian crystal prisms mantel lamps/lustre. These lamps are hand painted detailing pink roses with gold outlines. There are 8 crystal prisms on each lamp which are about 4" in length. The prisms have many edges to reflect the light. The wires that hold the prisms are unbroken and will hold the prisms. These 16 prisms look to be in good shape. The lamps/lustres are approximately 13 1/2 inches tall and approximately 6 3/4 inches wide at the base and approximately 6 1/4 inches wide at the top. There are metal rods through the centers of each lamp. It looks like they were being readied to be electrified. When I found these lamps. They had large pillar candles in the center of the lamps with plastic greenery all around the candles. The only markings I can find is the number 8486 on the bottom ... moreof each lustre and a label with the name of Charleton on one lamp. The Charleton Co. decorated items of many of the top glass companies including Fenton and Cambridge. I think this pair will make gorgeous lamps. Ask any question and I will provide additional photos. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. c1860s Beautiful Pair Bohemian Cut Green& White Glass Gilt Mantle Lusters Presented is a nice pair of Bohemian overlay cut glass mantle lusters. These lusters date to around 1860-1870. The lusters are done in opaque white glass over translucent emerald green glass. With lovely gilt detailing. The lusters have designs cut into the white to reveal the green beneath, at the top and bottom. Around the top are white'petals, each with a round or star-shaped design and a faceted clear glass prism hanging beneath. There are two sizes and styles of prisms, which alternate all the way around each luster. This is a wonderful pair of mantle lusters, great for holding candles, flowers, or display on their own. The mantle lusters are in good overall condition. As the photo ... morepoints out. One of the lusters has had a break and subsequent glue repair to one of the'petals. The gilding on both of the mantle lusters has noticeable wear. The prisms have some chips here and there, which is hard to avoid given the nature of the piece. The interior vase portions are water-tight and could be used to display flowers. Each mantle luster is about 13 3/4 inches tall. The longer prisms are about 9 inches long. Very beautiful early 20th-century pair of Bohemian Moser glass lusters with gold gilded designs all over. The pair of lusters are extremely beautiful with a rich sensational red color and the gold gilding is extremely simple yet elegant. The lusters are definitely antique and have age; the glass used is extremely thick and the gold gilded grapes and leaves are all hand-painted. The overall condition of the set is excellent for its age however there are some wear on the gold gilding due to natural aging. Please preview the pictures. The height of each luster is roughly 13 inches with a top diameter of 6 1/4 inches and a base diameter of roughly 6 inches. One shade is slightly different in color-tone. Antique EAPG Green Canary Yellow Glass Lusters Mantle Candle Stick Holders Lamp 3 Part These glow slightly but not enough to say Vaseline glass at this point. The faint green glow that many old glasses have under a black light due to the manganese. An additive to stop oxidation from the iron in the glass. Very old glass yes. But not glowing enough to call them Vaseline. Three part molded glass depression green Canary Yellow glass candle holders for your mantle or dressing table lamps. Beautiful as found might need a polishing or shining up. The tops appear to be frosted the base and round prism luster holder is more of a clear green. A few minor hardly worth mentioning dings, not sure if they are from the mold or in the making process as so many were from EAPG glass. Beautiful Pair of Antique Bohemian Lusters. The quality of the bohemian lustres is so well that it strongly resembles Baccarat glass. The lusters are in great condition with no damage on the body at all. The prisms however have some chips here& there. There are 3 holes in one of the candle holders for reasons I can’t explain. I thought that the lusters must have been electrified at one point but why have holes in only one luster. The gilding has worn-off in some areas due to age. Other than that the set is in really great shape. The age of the lusters is late 19th Century circa 1870s- 1890s. The approximately height of the lusters is 12 inches. BOHEMIAN LUSTERS Absolutely gorgeous set of antique cased glass mantle lusters measures almost 11" tall and 5-1/2" in diameter at the opening. Egermann. Moser and other Bohemian glassmakers used similar glass techniques, so it is hard to pinpoint the actual maker. The creamy white enamel glass is cased in cranberry/ruby, and cut back to reveal the red color in oval and elogated panels. The center is further decorated with fancy enamel hand painted roses in pinks and green. Gold trim completes the painting. Spectacular! The set is in perfect shape.no chips or cracks. They were probably made by Moser art glass as many like this were. Each lustre has 8 prisms and stand 10 inches high by 5.25 inches at widest point. The bodies of the lustres are in excellent vintage condition for their age with no chips or cracks. The crystals have no cracks though some of the points may be rounded off or have tiny fleabites, just a fact of age and wear that in no way detracts from these beautiful pieces. Bohemian Opaline Glass Mantle Lustres Lusters Cut Spear Prism Hand Blown Rare
Offered for your consideration is this beautiful hand blown Bohemian opaline art glass mantle lustres/lusters with cut spear prisms. I have been trying to research this piece to find out how old it is. I did find one like it on another site that said it is Very Rare. They dated it between ca. 1850-1880. I feel it is safe to say that it is from the 1800s. It stands approximately 8 1/2" tall with a diameter of about 4 3/4" at the top. The spears are just under 5" long(the bottom part) The diameter of the top part of the prism is approximately 3/4" So you can add that to the length. The length of the wires vary. So I am not including that measurement. It does add length to the lustres though. The wires all need to be adjusted. It is missing one wire and one prism. The holes that hold the wires/lustres all are in good shape. ... moreThe gold is rubbing off in many areas. The rim around the top has no chips. The area where the lustres hang is pretty transparent. The transparency varies in different areas of the glass. It is a beautiful green with bubbles that are visible in different areas in the glass. Pair of Electric Frosted Pink Glass Mantle Lusters Beautiful pair of vintage lusters in a rich shade of frosted pink. And handpainted on top, sitting on beautiful bases. Vintage Mantel Lusters Antique Pair 1930's-1940's Era (Electric)
A pair of beautiful vintage late 1930's early 1940's mantel lusters. The globes are beautifully etched. One of the globes is original and is more intricately etched and is ~10.75 inches tall. The other two globes match each other and are replacements that have an etched design and are ~8.25 inches tall. All globes are in perfect condition. There are ten large 7 inch prisms for each lamp. The prisms are in fair condition and all are original. Some are chipped. please see the pictures. I tried to take pictures so that you can see the condition of the prisms. The lamps have an etched diamond design on the base and bowl and are in perfect condition. They are wired for electricity and they do work. They have the old toggle switches on the cords. PAIR Antique CRYSTAL Candelabras EPERGNE Baccarat Style CZECH Lusters GARNITURE
Offered is a quality antique Pair of Cut Crystal Candelabras with Epergne centers.adorned with lusters. Standing approximately 16 inches tall. Each'stick' spans about 14 inches.and is 5 inches deep(front to back) at the cut crystal circular base. Cut decoration extends throughout the central base and flows outward over the arms.predominantly crossed diagonals and thumbprint cuts. Bobeches are also cut- as are the Epergnes(and difficult to photograph) Condition is very good overall. One'stick' stands a bit taller than the other(less than one inch) and the epergne tilts very slightly in one direction(same stick) There is no apparent damage to any of the crystal with one exception- One of the four bobeches has damage.as follows: The bobeche consists of two pieces- a glass cup that hugs the candle. Which rests upon a traditional ... morebobeche that floats below the candle. The cup that hugs the candle has lost much of the neck that secures the piece to the hardware(rests in place as is) And the underlying bobeche piece has a triangular shard missing from the center outward with radiating cracks.the two pieces apparently collided and now no longer meet due to the missing shards. None of the damage to the crystal bobeche affects the structural integrity of the Candelabras.beyond one wobbly bobeche. There is some variation in the crystal lusters(prisms)which I didn't notice until I started to review the photos. I should have taken more time setting these up for photos. A bunch of additional lusters came to me with the'sticks' I'm very confident that there are better'matches' that I can add as substitutes. The candelabras are marked"Czechoslovakia" and a number(as shown) this mark appears on the metal disc that the arms and epergnes attach to in the centerpiece. I searched for a mark on the crystal. But didn't find one. Baccarat is known for making Lamps of this style.I'm listing as Baccarat Style. I will disassemble the pair for shipping unless instructed to do otherwis

They are lovely cut glass with a spear shape at the bottom. A separate hexagonal bead at the top hinged with wires with an extra wire at the very top for attaching. They are beautiful and have a nice antique ambience, can be used for decoration or replacements. The shafts are three-sided and carved at the long apex so they show through on the opposing flat side as if they are dripping, nice ... moreeffect for antique lighting. Bohemian Czeck Moser ? Emerald Green Pair of Mantle Lusters with Prisms 1920's
These vintage mantle lusters belonged to my grandmother in the 1920's. Passed on to my mother in the 1950's and passed on to me. Beautiful emerald green glass with gold decoration. They are in excellent condition for their age. Approx. 95 years old. If you look closely there may be a few chips on the prisms, which usually occurs on all prisms. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs. They stand approx. 12" tall and there are 10 prisms on each. We do not ship international without inquiry prior to bidding. Each one is 2 pieces with the small piece on top approx 1" and the bottom larger piece approx. 6" They are overall in very nice condition- spectacular original crystals attached to the beautifully hand painted vases. There are no noticeable cracks or chips in the vases. Most of the original gilding is present although some has faded over time. Nine Multi cut daggers with pointed ends, 3-3/4" long with a multi cut top connector Two round petal shaped glass holders for the hangers, with another hanger partially broken that has 5 of the daggers connected. Four 4-1/2" Long Spears including the multi cut top pc. One four inch 3 sided prism with above ball. Two 1-1/2" Almond shaped multi cut, thick crystal hangers with a center 1/2" connector, and a couple more incidental pieces. They are in there two old boxes I have had for well over 60 years,and are probably about 100 years old.

19th C. Bohemian Mantle Lustres. Moser. Overlay Cut to Clear. These mantle lustres are attributed to Moser from the 1860's in Bohemia. They are just over 12" tall and about 6" in diameter. The lustres are about 9" long. There are only two condition items on the overlay cut to clear glass and that is a fleabite on the base of one which only seems to be in the overlay and some loss of gold paint at the typical points of handling. With the loss of paint on the stem. You know this was periodically carried by the original owners from the mantle to their chair. Also, based on the wear, it does not appear that these have been retouched by anyone over the years. The prisms, or lustres, are all in good condition with some slight edge roughness where they have swung and clashed through the years. Bohemian Victorian Rare Majestic Cobalt Blue / Gold Gilt Overlay Mantle Lusters
Crowning Royalty Dressed in Fine Cobalt Blue and Gold The imperial colors of sapphire& gold compliment one another with an overall look of nobility. That is what makes this set an incredibly rare find. In the world of antique mantle lustres. Cobalt blue, especially coupled with gold, is among the most sought after and highly prized. This exquisite 19th century pair with 10 spear prisms each measures as follows: 13 1/2" Height(34.3 cm) 6 1/8" Diameter across the top(15.6 cm) 5 5/8" At the base(14.3 cm) 4 1/2 lb. each(2 kg each) Condition: Overall. Both are in exceptionally nice condition, especially for their age. Paint is beautiful and nearly all intact. One lustre has a small chip in the base that can be seen in picture#9. Directly to the left of the chip is a spot where the paint is somewhat worn. Picture#11 shows only ... moremild paint wearing in small spots on the rim. Most prisms appear to be original. But a few were replaced with identical spears of slightly smaller sizes. Two that were replaced have square tops rather than octagon. See last picture) A few have minor chips that do not appear to distract from the lustres. All are solid, heavy glass. We encourage any and all questions concerning these beautiful mantle lustres. Our commitment to you: This set will be packed in a professional manner. For safety in travel. We plan to disassemble the prisms from the mantles and pack each in bubble wrap individually. Reassembly is easily achieved by hanging prisms back on the wires connected to the mantles and bending the wires slightly to secure. We plan to use a heavy box and all the styrofoam, peanuts, and bubble wrap needed to ensure a safe arrival. It is our sincerest desire to satisfy with the items we sell.
