STUNNING PAIR BOHEMIAN CRANBERRY & CRYSTAL MANTLE LUSTERS
We are selling a pair of outstanding mantle lusters. They are crystal- cranberry color cut to clear. The cuts are not sharp. Rather smooth. The spears are lead crystal and have a nice shine and ring to them. The tips of such spears are always vulnerable and a couple of them may have a tiny nick to the tip- nothing major or grave. The lusters are likely German or Bohemian. The age is not determined. However, they do have some age as is evident by the mellowed, patinated color of the metal used for hanging the lusters in addition to the mentioned not new status of the tips of the spears. There may be other signs but I am not actually an expert of determining precisely how old these are. Excellent pre-owned condition. There may be a crystal spear or two that have a tiny little nick at the tip. This is to be expected from something old and fragile ... moreand mobile like these. In addition you will find a little build of of dust especially on the spears- I have not attempted to clean or dust anything. Fortunately they appear to be from a smoke free home and also they are not greasy or sticky- very clean actually. 11 1'2 inches in height. 6" in diameter across the top opening. Due to the fragility of these items they will be a little expensive to ship but we will wrap. Box, and pack them ourselves in order to keep the cost down. You will be paying for the shipping. This pair of pink lusters is each 10 inches high and 5 inches in diameter. The lusters have ruffled edges. The lusters are made of Bristol glass and are from England. They are each adorned with 7 prisms. They have gilded decoration around the edges of the luster. These are hand blown and date to the 19 th century. The lusters have no chips. Antique Brass and Crystal Pair of Lamps with original shades and lusters.
Up for auction is an super pair of Crystal and Brass fluted column supported table lamps with original frosted star cut shades and 20 reverse cut crystal lusters. Each stand 16 3/4" high with a 3 3/4" by 3 3/4" square alabaster base. Both lamps have been professionally rewired and have a Hi-Lo line cord dimmer switch. One of the original switches at some point was replaced with a key type action as seen at right in the last picture. The left one is original and works just like a real wick to activate lighting of the the bulb! Never have seen one like it! Natural aging to the solid brass fittings with 4 lusters missing otherwise complete. Cannot find a makers mark on either but both are very well made from Circa 1930's. Please review all pictures. Spectacular matched pair blown glass cranberry lustres lusters. Pair are nicely enameled and decorated. This pair is not to be confused with the more commonly seen 20 century Eastern European lustres. These are circa late 19th century Victorian; probably French. Please note the thin and delicate glass. I have examined each carefully. I can find NO losses to either the top or bottom glass rims. All of the prisms seem to match with the exception of one-you would not notice this if someone doesn't point it out to you The top rims have gold leafing which have a very minimal loss(see photos) The enameling is also very good with nothing missing. 2 vintage pink mantal Lusters Lustres 14 1/4 " Tall with prisms nice enamel work
Thank you for viewing this auction for a vintage pair of pink with a white inside lusters with nicely applied enamelled flowers. Items are roughly 14 1/4 inches tall with the top opening being 5 1/2 inches. The prism bottom arrow part are about 5 1/4 inches long all together hanging from the luster 7+ inches. No makers marks are on the item. Good used condition showing normal usage Gold accent worn of some minor nicks to the top a few can be noticed without rubbing your finger on the edge. The prisms one arrow is missing and as normal the tips of the arrows have nicks in them some a little worse than others. I plugged them in and took a picture of them lit up but with a electrical please have it inspected or tested prior to use. The bottom has each one white spot I am unsure of why it is there it is not a repair it could have something to ... moredo with when the pink was applied? Antique Mantle Lustres Emerald Green and Gold Truly captivating pair of antique mantle lustres. They measure approximately 9 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" diameter. They are mostly frosted green glass with some sections in the swirls being transparent. I have included photos of them lit up with tea-light candles. They are in great conditions with no chips. Moser Large Victorian Clambroth Mantle Lusters-works of art-unusual color-nice..
You are looking at a sweet large pair of Moser clambroth colored crenellated topped Victorian Mantle Lusters. The color is an unusual one for mantle lusters-usually they were flashier and screamed look at me.these are more conservative in both style and color scheme. They are 12 in inches tall and the hanging crystales(Lusters) are 7 inches including the crystal jewel at the top of the luster. I would love to say they are perfect but they are not. Some of the Victorian gilt design has worn off during the last 100 years; there are a few minor flea bites on the hanging crystals and there is a small chip on one of the lustre bodies(See photo-hard to see in this color)this could easily be sanded and totally un noticed.a two minute job and easily done in this color. Since the tops are crenellated or scalloped-the chip doesn't even show-but ... morenonetheless-it is there. Pair of Green Cased Glass Mantle Lusters Beautiful pair of vintage lusters. They have a pretty floral motif of pink and blue flowers with soft green leaves. A touch of gold trim adds a nice finishing touch. The lusters are 13 3/8" high and 7 1/8" across the rim with a 6 1/2" base. Each luster has eight prisms measuring approximately 6 1/8" long including a 3/4" button. Both lusters have been electrified and are in working order. They cast a beautiful soft glow when illuminated. The cord and switch appear to be original. Please see photos. They are working, but you may want to consider re-wiring them due to age. I did not find any chips or cracks on the lusters. One of the prisms has a few small nicks and there are a couple of fleabites. Unfortunately, this does happen with age. This lovely Victorian pink Bristol/opaline glass have ruffled/scalloped tops with white snake spiral around the body of luster. The ruffled curvaceous shape is dramatic. The candelabrum measure 16 ¾ inches or 42.5 cm high. And are 15 ¼ inches or 38.5 cm at their widest. The candelabrum features a rectangular marble base which supports the figural stem and two scrolling leaf arms. The figures are a courting couple in their finest dress; she holds one hand to her chest as the man leans in to be closer to her. You are looking at a lovely pair of Moser Victorian period cased and cut crystal to cranberry-the most desired color of that period.they also have hand painted floral tributes on top of the white cased glass. The Lustres themselves are in perfect condition-flawless-however a few of the hanging crystals do have flea bites but not many. The hanging crystals are most unusual and much better than I've seen on other mantle lusters.they help date the mantle lusters as later ones had spear shapes. The Mantle lusters are 9 inches tall and the hanging crystals are 5 inches long. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. 1860-1880 BOHEMIAN WHITE CUT GLASS MANTEL LUSTERS Presented is a marvelous old pair of glass mantel lusters. This is probably a Bohemian piece. Done in Austria/Hungary or Czechoslovakia in the 1860s-1880s. Each piece is composed of a wonderful white cut-to-clear vase with 10 large glass prisms or drops. The central vase is in the form of a fluted trumpet vase a petaled rim. Each long prism has a large cut-corner square or octagonal cut glass piece at the top. The long prisms are triangular with one triangular edge faceted in a scalloped border. The long prisms end with a wonderful multifaceted point at the bottom. The two portions are connected with a wire, as is the usual construction for these lusters. This pair is in great overall condition. The central vases are in ... moregreat shape. There are several fleabites here and there. But these are only visible on very very close inspection. The long hanging prisms have minor abrasions to some of the edges, especially nearer the bottom points, where the prisms are more likely to touch each other when swinging. Several of the prisms have small chips here and there, and we have shown the worst of these. Two of the long prisms are missing and were replaced with period prisms of a different shape. Another, third prism has also been replaced but is very similar to the triangular prisms with a cut edge. We have pointed these out in the last photos. There are no cracks, no splits and no repairs to the glass. Each luster measures about 11 3/4 inches tall. Each large prism measures about 8 inches. Not including the smaller cut-corner square prism at the top. The total length of the prism including both parts is about 9 1/2 inches. Good luck and bid with confidence. Antique Pair Czechoslovakian Ruby Red Lusters Lustres w/ Clear Cut Hang Crystals
This is a matching pair of antique handmade. Hand painted lusters. They each measure about 12" tall. The width across the top is about 6 1/2" and the base is about 5 1/4" The crystals are about 6 1/2" long including the hexagonal part at the very top. They are in fairly good condition for their age. But the one does have several scratches if you look closely. The one is diagonal and is about 3/4" and then runs down below to the other part of the luster for about another 3/4" long. The other two scratches are smaller and in the same general area as the other one; being a little below and to the right. See the photos for these scratches which I have circled. Both lusters also have some other thinner. Finer"scratches" that may have been part of the hand making process( You have to be very close up to see ... morethese. The crystals are also in fairly good condition; some of the points at the very bottoms are chipped. Please study the photos. The lusters will be packed very carefully! Shipping. Hello this is a very nice pair of antique mantle lusters they are taller than the photos look 10 1/2 inches and are in very nice condition no chips or cracks they are like a light olive pastel green and have gold with green and white detail painting there is a small amount of paint loss but you have to look hard to tell. Two rare antique Bohemian Moser, white cut to cobalt blue, mantle lusters C1938
This auction is for a set of two(2) truly gorgeous antique Bohemian Moser mantle lusters. Each luster features the rare and stunning combination of white cut to cobalt blue facet cut glass. The pieces are highlighted with crystal prisms. The prisms refract light beautifully. Our sitting room was so filled with color from the prisms that I took a photo of just one area. As shown in photo#10. I actually moved the lusters to a part of our home out of the sunlight to finish photographing them. Showcased throughout these beautiful pieces are hand painted flowers in subtle colors of pink, purple, blue, yellow and orange, surrounded by delicate green foliage. The lusters are very translucent as shown in photo#7 and photo#8. Both undersides of the bases are marked"Czechoslovakia" as shown in photo#12. Antique Bohemian Overlay Cased Moorish Panel Prism Glass Mantle Lusters Pair Great pair of trumpet form Moorish style decorated. Mid 19th century, white enamel cased and then cut-back and paneled emerald green glass. Each luster is hand gilt, has rolling ruffle top rims, and is finely painted with very fine gilt scrollwork. Each luster is hung with 10 clear, 2 piece, long spear drop cut crystal prisms. The lusters measure about 10 1/2" tall and about 4 3/4" diameter. I would say these date to about 1870 or so.roughly 140 years old. This said.there are no chips, cracks etc to the lusters themselves. There is some rubbing to the gilt, but not bad considering the age.please see the photos. The prisms are mismatched I believe, and very chipped up.and I think probably not original considering their condition, but I think that is a very ... moreeasy fix although they do their job and do display ok. You really have to inspect them and look closely for the most part. In any case they would benefit with a minimal expense, if desired, of picking and re matching some of the prisms. There are two prisms I would say that do not want to hang.but really, the prisms apparently got the worst of it which is great. These are really nice, and the prisms are easily remedied if desired. Gorgeous/21" tall /handpainted cranberry bohemian moser lusters-hurricane shades
Antique hand painted cranberry lusters candle. Each lusters accommodates with 12 prisms. It is a gorgeous pair with original hurricanes. The age of this beautiful pair around the 1930's to 1950's. So they have heavy age wear on it. There is a little chips on it and also there is a little green mark on the body, but it is hard to see.
