The JOY DE JEAN PATOU is 2.25" and has good lettering and a red stopper with long dauber. The LE DANDY BY D'ORSAY is 2" high and the Art Deco bottle was designed by the French architects, Sue et Mare. The label is in poor condition. WELCOME to our auction for a delightful pair of Antique Ruby glass perfume bottles. The stoppers and base of the bottles have been decorated in gilt enamels forming flowers and scrolls. The bottles have the same size and shape but the details vary as they are hand blown/made and this always creates slight differences. The stoppers are original and it is in these that the main differences in dimension is seen. Wonderful to display- DIMENSIONS: both approx 9" 22.8cms) tall x 3" 7.6cms) diameter MARKS: See image for a number"16" on the inside neck of one. The other has a number"49" both these numbers correspond with numbers of the same value on the base of the stoppers. I believe these are originally from the Bohemian region of Europe. Set C.F. Knapp Antique Glass Perfume Bottles Nov. 1880 in Fitted Case
Antique Molded Glass Perfume Bottle in Case This lovely set of perfume bottles offer a stunning French appeal with their intricate molded diamond pattern that continues from bottle to stopper. Both Bottles are 2 1/4" tall. 3 1/4" including stopper, 2" at their widest and just over 1" across the top. Both have the original labels underneath as shown that read"C. F. K Nov. 1880" Both also bear labels on the neck of the bottle that read"C. F. Knapp Phila. as well as"Myosotis" and"Gardenia" respectively. The box was clearly made for these bottles and has wooden inserts to hold both at the necks(one insert is broken) and is lined with a smooth cream colored fabric that has torn a bit and the top of the box is padded under the fabric. The entire box is wooden and measures 4 3/4" x 4 1/4" ... morex 2 1/2" tall covered in tan velvet. Noted for accuracy and shown in the pictures the velvet is torn on the top. The hinges and clip are functional and the body of the box is still in decent shape for new fabric application. This is a fantastic set for your collection! This auction is for 3 miniature blown glass perfume bottles that are from Egypt all of them have a made in Egypt sticker on the bottom.All of these bottles have what looks to be a flower pattern etched into them and the stopper looks to be in a leaf pattern.All of these bottles have a gold colored trim on them and all 3 are different shapes and heights the largest one stands about 5 1/4' tall the next one is about 5' tall and the last one is about 4 3/4" tall all of these are in great shape with no chips in the glass that I can find there is a little gold color flaked off in a spot or two. This will make a great addition to someones collection and will look great added to someones display. Five Small Vintage Clear Cut Crystal Glass Perfume Bottles BAKELITE Tops 1940's
These are great collectible perfume bottles from the 1940's or so! There are 4 that are similiar in size and shape each with a different color Bakelite top. The colors are dark green. Dark orange,medium brown and butterscotch. Bottles are cut glass design with a smooth rectangular spot for a label of some kind. They each measure 1 7/8 X 1 1/4 inches. The additional bottle has a triangular shape with an amber yellow Bakelite top. It measures 2 1/4 X 1 1/2 inches. All tops are screw on and fit securely. Condition is excellent! Description A fine antique French sterling silver& cut glass six piece vanity or dressing table toiletry set. Comprising of two perfume or cologne bottles. Three round powder jars, and a large rectangular box. What makes this set so unique and outstanding is the finely crafted armorial crest applied to the lids. Featuring a crowned royal coat of arms. The shield bearing two stars above a flag, flanked by two lion or griffin supporters, crested by a crown of a Baron. The cut glass bodies are of superb quality, thick and decorated with fluted paneling. The two bottles feature knob lids, both retaining their glass stoppers, with polished pontil to the bases. One powder jar having a swans down powder puff! Overall a beautiful set, of elegant styling and made captivating by the addition of the armorial crest. The sterling mounts are hallmarked ... morewith the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of 950/1000(of 95% pure silver and a higher finesse than.925 sterling) Also bearing maker's marks for silversmith Auguste Leroy, active from 1891 to 1912 at 22 rue Réaumur in Paris. You are bidding on a pair of Vintage I W Rice White Milk Glass Perfume Bottles. 3 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide) I do not know much about them. But I'll describe the best I can. They are in nice condition and still have original stickers on the bottom. From what I see, 1 has a tiny chip in the flowers and the 2nd one has two of the rose petals chipped off. but it is hard to notice any chips with all the detail, I had to feel around the flowers to tell) They are not cracked or broken on either base that I can see.
