Condition: Used Location: Houston, United States Offered for sale is a Stunning Ethan Allen Vintage Georgian Court Cherry Secretary. This secretary includes a top and separate base. The top is item#11-9224 ... morein the#225 finish and the bottom is item#11-9223 in the#225 finish. The secretary can be found on page#131 in the 80th edition of the Ethan Allen Treasury of American Traditional Interiors. Ethan Allen describes their Georgian Court line as having. Intricate details crafted by skilled aritsans in fine cabinet woods such as solid Cherry and carefully selected veneers. Georgian Court accents offer pure traditional styling of exceptional beauty and value to provide lasting delight and satisfaction to all who want to enhance their own homes with the graceful designs of our great heritage. The secretary top measures 36" wide x 46" high x 10" deep and features beveled glass doors as well as two adjustable cherry wood shelves that are grooved for china display. The back is selected veneer. The top has gorgeous carving and a pretty finial. The secretary base measures 36.5" wide x 41" high x 19" deep and features five drawers and a drop front with lock with key. There are cubbies inside the desk base as well as two drawers. The drawers are very clean inside. This secretary was manufactured in January. 1980 and is in excellent condition overall with a few exceptions. There are light dings and one more noticeable ding on the front of the secretary where it drops down(see pics#10, 11) There are also a few tiny chips low on the front two feet and one chip on the very back side of the secretary top. It is not very noticeable when it is against the wall, unless you are looking at the back(see pic#12) The Ethan Allen name is stamped in the top drawer and the date as well as the item number are stamped on the back. 3 ANTIQUE GEORGIAN ERA FAMILY 1860-70's IMAGES CONVEX GLASS VELVET FRAMES
This is a set of 3 images of what appears to be a family of a mother. Father& child. I am not certain if the images are photos or something else. There are papers in between the backs& images dating to the 1860-70's. They don't really look like photographs up close. The glass is convex and curves out. The two parents frames are approx. 6" tall and 4.75" wide, and the child's is 5.25" tall X 4.25" wide. When I removed the backs it appears as though the images may smear if they were handled much. I have no idea who the family may be, but they were purchased in Wisconsin.

This week we have Georgian/Regency era. Thumping" or"Firing" cannon. This is a very heavy piece for its size weighing just over 14 ounces. We believe this piece dates to circa the late 1700's to early 1800's. The etching on this piec is superbly executed. As you can see it is monogramed with MD. The piece has a few very small fleabites to the base. There are also a few scratches to the interior. they are very light) It does show proper wear(shelf wear/scratches) to the base. Typical with a piece of this age. The stems of the early"Firing Glasses" were thick and short. This piece is one of the finest examples we have ever come across. The piece measures 4 3/4" tall x 2 3/4" across the base. A very nice and rare collectable. Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. c1810 GEORGIAN SILVERPLATE STAND& CUT GLASS BOWL Presented is a wonderful Georgian silverplate stand and Anglo-Irish cut glass bowl. The stand and bowl were made in the early 1800s. Likely around 1810. The stand is in a three-cornered shape with three standing figures. The figures are dressed in lion skins and a crown of leaves. They likely represent Hercules wearing the Nemean lion skin. Each figure holds aloft a torch that supports the top ring of the stand. The top ring is decorated with gorgeous shell and leaf work. The base of the stand has bold scrollwork and stylized leaf and floral decorations. There is a museum de-accession number painted to the bottom of the stand. The cut glass bowl, although not original to the silverplate stand, is also from the early ... more1800s. The bowl is secure in the stand and will not fall out, but it is not a perfect fit. The stand is marked on the bottom with a museum de-accession number. The condition is excellent. The silver plate is in great shape. It is worn through mainly on once of the center florettes on the base of the stand. Two of the connections between the torches and the top silver ring have had solder repairs. They are good repairs and are very stable. The top ring has a small split in the silver. But it is stable and is not going anywhere. We have shown this in the last photos. The bowl is in excellent condition. There are small fleabites here and there, nothing major. The bottom of the bowl has some very minor surface wear, not much at all. There are no breaks, no cracks, no other splits, no dents, no chips, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs. The stand measures approximately 14 inches tall and about 8 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches. The bowl measures about 4 3/4 inches tall and about 10 inches in diameter. For shipping purposes. Viking Art Glass Georgian Pattern Ruby Red Candy Dish with Lid#6928 Almost MINT This Candy Dish& Cover is a stunning example of early Viking glass from the 1960's. The light is picked up from many angles due to the unique pattern in the glass. The piece is Ruby Red but it does have some amberina streaks on the base. Dish 5 3/4 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall Cover is 5 inches wide by 2 1/2 inches tall Dish with lid on is 4 3/4 inches tall Color: Ruby Red Weight: 1 pound 13 ounces. Quite heavy for its size No chips or cracks but I do see a few very very fine scratches on the inside(barely there) You can see them on the last picture. The dish looks brand new and would make a great gift. Check out my other items. DENTISTS POCKET MULTI TOOL GUM LANCET MAGNIFYING GLASS GEORGIAN 1800s
This is for an unusual early dentists pocket tool that has a strong magnifying glass built into the handle. It has its two original tools that fold out from the handle. One being a gum lancet. It is in excellent condition with no damage to the tools or the magnifying glass and just a tiny little split crack in the handle on one side near the rivet. Closed it measures 85mm 3.25 long by 20mm(0.75" at its widest part. Please check out all the other antique smoking and writing implements.
