18th C English Georgian Sterling 7 Matching Cut Glass Bottles Cruet Set No Mono
Remarkable for it’s original pieces. This late 18 th century. Georgian sterling cruet set has 7 matching bottles and stand marked for John Robins in London, in 1797. Each blown crystal bottle is decorated with cross cut diamonds and two rows of fluting. The neck of the tall bottles has eleven rows of shallow grooves for roughly 1 ½-inches. These are terminated in a ½-inch band of diamond cut above more fluting. 22 grooves to be exact, the lower fluting using the peaked edge of the wider grooves to create arches, like drapery. There are two tall bottles with silver pour spouts. Two bottles with silver shaker tops, one has spray shaped holes) two smaller bottles with silver collars and matching cut glass stoppers, and one silver hinged lid with cut out bottle for mustard. The sterling stand is oval shape with four curled fan feet. ... moreIt is not monogrammed. Not has there been any removal of a monogram. It is 9 ½-inches tall by 8 ½-inches wide. And 6 ½-inches deep. Marked with matching hallmarks on the face and on the bottom. The marks on the bottom are pristine. All of the other marks show more signs of centuries of polishing but are still readable. Six of the seven bottles are all marked with Robins maker’s mark. And the year 1797. The hinged lid silver cap on the mustard was replaced in 1911 by someone with the maker’s mark of GFP. Perhaps for George Frederick Pinnell. That new lid had to be further repaired at some point. In the hinge. But the new lid was put on a correct bottle with the band of diamond cuts above single band of fluting. Condition is excellent antique overall. With the occasional minute chigger bites on the high ridges of the bottles, a few flaws within the glass, some clouding in three of the bottles that may clean out with a treatment of Coke, and the aforementioned repaired hinge on the replaced lid, there is also a minor lift to one side of the cut out in that lid) The two tall pour bottles are 6 ¾-inches tall. Here is a pretty vintage or antique cut glass cruet jug. It has a honeycomb or Georgian type pattern. The neck has cut panels with notched ridges. The spout is fluted and the stopper has a cut facet pattern. The bottom has been cut flat and ground and has a cut star pattern. Thee is some tiny chipping at the base of the stopper and some roughness at the very top point. There is a tiny nick on the outer edge of one of the side spouts. Antique Georgian portrait miniature of a young lady with a blue dress. Lace shawl, and pink roses. She has powdered hair of the time. Late 1700's- early 1800's. She has a slight smile and nice details in the painting. On the back in a braided pattern is her light brown hair. The border and hanging ring are rose gold. I have not tested it because I don't want to scratch it. The portrait miniature measures 2 1/4" without ring, and almost 2" across. There are no cracks to the front glass or back. Thanks for viewing.

Amber Glass ~ Nice Heavy set They are approx. 4" high X 1 1/2" wide Faceted pressed glass in the Gerogian style on a pedestal Retro Chrome covered plastic tops ~ 1 has a little scratch showing the black plastic underneath hardly noticable(see picture) There is a small chip in the glass on the bottom along the mold line may have happened in the mfging process. see picture) All in all this is a very nice set of amber glass shakers that would look very pretty outside on your picnic table camping with the sun shining through them or on your stove for display or use!

GEORGIAN, "LOVEBIRDS" Depression Glass Creamer & Sugar Set with Lid!!!!
FEDERAL GLASS COMPANY 1931-1936 Federal made Georgian from 1931 to 1936 so it is one of their earlier depression patterns. Georgian's design is wonderful. With rounded triangle cartouches that frame pairs of birds alternating with baskets. The pairs of birds give this pattern its nickname"Lovebirds" The triangles are connected by swags of leaves and the center of each piece has an elaborate medallion design. This glass is mold-etched. That means the mold was etched with the design and the glass was then pressed. The design is recessed on the mold so the pattern is raised on the surface of the glass. Mold etching was an innovative method to mass produce large quantities of glass with intricate patterns without the expense and hand labor of individually etched pieces. The Georgian pattern has never been reproduced. The creamer ... moreand sugar have the baskets of flowers on them. They both are about 3" high. You are bidding on an antique Georgian. Anglo irish cut and fluted rummer or wine glass circa 1830-49. I have 6 of the Georgian wine goblets available, but you are bidding on ONE. The goblets are about 5" high and just under 2 1/2" across the top. They are in really good condition with no chips or cracks. The base appears to be the original scalloping and has not been reduced. There are one or two very tiny pin point size nicks on the top edge. They are very hard to see but I can feel them when I run my fingernail along to top. They do NOT detract in any way. This Georgian candlestick measures 27.5cms high by 18.2cms wide at the foot. The candlestick has been made in several parts ei:7 sections. It has a folded foot with a round outward folded lip. There are many inclusions in the glass including several randomly spread air bubbles within the glass. This is a set of Federal Glass Co. Georgian. Lovebirds" footed green vaseline glass creamer& sugar dish which were made from 1931-1936. They are each 3 inches tall and 3-1/2 inches round and in very good condition. The only chip I can see is a small one on the foot of the creamer which is in the last picture. I've described and photographed this set to the best of my ability. Georgian Victorian Cut Glass Square Bottle& Stopper from Medicine Chest C.1840 This is a rather lovely cut glass medicine bottle of square shape with a ground and polished pontil mark on the base and faceted shoulders. It has it's original stopper. This type of bottle would have been from a boxed set of medical materials for home use. I would date to between about 1830 and 1860: early to mid nineteenth century. Size: 4.5 cm wide x 9 cm high approximately. 2 7/8 x 3 1/2 inches) Weight: 177 grammes Condition: no chips or cracks. Very light wear. There is an internal mark- a line from where the contents went up to I think. I have not tried to clean this up. It is dry inside and not cloudy. see photos that show condition clearly. Federal Glass Georgian or Lovebirds Creamer Green Depression Glass 1931-1935 This is a green depression glass creamer in Georgian or Lovebirds pattern by Federal Glass from 1931 to 1935. Pattern features lovely mold-etched birds and baskets. It measures 2 7/8" tall. 4 1/2" wide at handle and 3 1/2" across. In good condition, no chips or cracks. The Federal Glass Company was founded in 1900 in Columbus. Ohio. They made pressed glass and mold-etched patterns until they closed down in 1980.

This pattern was produced during the period of 1931-1936. There have not been any reproductions of this pattern. This pattern is known for the two lovebirds perched side by side. It alternates birds and baskets as you can see from the photos. Not to be confused with the Parrot Sylvan pattern also by Federal Glass Company. This pattern has two birds on one side and one bird on the other.
