I found this at a thrift store. It is 4" tall and wide. It is made of metal. The lid sets on top of the base. I don't know the age or who made it. It appears old. It has a couple of spots that have"green" tarnish so there must be copper in it. The gold has worn off in some spots. I see no dents.

Vintage Ormolu Filigree Beveled Glass Jewelry Casket Box Very Nice!
In gilt filigree and heavy beveled glass is this quality made jewelry casket from the mid-20 th century or earlier. Triangular in shape and sitting on three feet. It has floral repousse work all around and a thickly padded velvet interior. The lid is gilt surrounded beveled glass. The bottom is solidly backed in gilt metal which is unusual for boxes of this type. The back hinge is broad, and has a catch piece on it to prevent the lid from falling backward when opened. A stylized floral crown piece forms the repousse latch. The size is 5" wide on hinged side. 4" deep front to back, 2-3/4" tall. In very good condition: the ormolu filigree has some patina. But not overly so, and it is not verdigri’ed. No breaks, cracks or bends in the metal that I could see. The glass is clear and unblemished. The interior plush is slightly soiled. ... moreit looks as if this is tarnish from jewelry, but otherwise in good shape. I have done nothing to clean this except give it a quick dusting with a brush. I believe that it is of French origin. The piece has a topaz glass stone prong set into the top center of the cover. The cover/lid is affixed to the box with a hinge at the back. The detail is really exceptional on this piece- rather than try to describe it. One should simply ... moreenlarge the photos for a closer look. The interior is lined in maroon velvet and there is a removable velvet top tray. I believe that the piece dates to the 1940s- it looks to me to be Hollywood Regency in style and would be wonderful in the right setting. The piece measures 9 1/4 by 6 1/2, exclusive of the covers tab and has a height of approximately 5 to the top of the topaz stone- it weighs 2 lbs and 4 oz. It is in very good condition- there are white metal marks visible at the center below the cover hinge at the back(see last photo) and a slight bit of tarnish on the sides of the cover- I dont want to clean or polish because I dont want to affect the patina. Also, the cover is a little askew/open on one side, but this can be easily adjusted by a jeweler/metalsmith. In addition, the casket is a little uneven, but this just needs a foot adjustment, which I will leave to the winning bidder. Otherwise, this piece is in great condition, which the photos will bear out. Antique French Ormolu Filigree Crystal Perfume Boudoir Bottles
Made in France. Vintage or Antique. Four individual diamond shaped thick glass bottles all housed in a gilt ormolu filigree frame. Each bottle has removable filigree sleeve and cut crystal stopper. The diamond shaped housing has detailed raised vine flowers draping. The detail of the housing is reflected on each bottles removable collar. The set measures approximately 5"H x 6"L x 4"W. Each individual glass bottle is about 2.5"L x 1.5"W. One glass bottle is damaged at the top where the stopper sits. But still holds the crystal stopper and is not noticeable as it is covered by the sleeve. The same bottle stopper was broke at base of the faceted cut at neck of stopper.
