Waterford Kylemore Spirit Decanter with Stopper
You are buying a gorgeous Waterford Kylemore spirit decanter. With stopper, in excellent estate condition. The decanter has no chips, breaks, cracks, reparis, hairlines, or cloudiness. Normal bottom scuffing of a vintage crystal piece. Extremely minor flea bite or chigger on the very bottom of the stopper. But it is insignificant and has no effect on the beauty or usefulness of the stopper. One of the pictures shows the flea bite. 8" without stopper- 10 5/8" with stopper in place. Needs a minor cleaning. But that will be your chore, not mine. Waterford etched. I have taken a picture. But the etching is so faint it is very hard to see. I assure you that it is there. Bischoff *Green Crackle Glass Pinched Decanter Bubble Stopper # 478 Flaw
Bischoff Glass Co. Culloden. W.V. 10 3/4" tall with stopper 7 1/2" tall without stopper just shy of 2 1/4" across the top opening about 5 1/2" across the front of the body at its widest the stopper is 4 3/8" tall Bischoff crackle glass decanter shown in their catalog as# 478. It does have some water residue I'll explain. A nice shade of deep green with a crystal stopper. The decanter has a rounded body with a deep pinch both front and back that also form a circular indent which compliments the circular body. The rim is elongated on the sides. Easy to ID this decanter with the signature rim. Inside the neck and the base of the stopper are ground. The crystal stopper has the nice oval bubble in the base and the little nub on the point. Pontil mark on the bottom. The crackle is all alligator crackle, small& medium ... moreit fades out at the start of the neck. Heavy it weighs between 2 1/4- 2 1/2 pounds. It does have water residue in the body. Sitting here at the computer in lower light I can not see it. Certainly at the window it can be seen. I think it displays beautifully, even in the sun. It sparkles brilliantly and throws the color but if you want perfect it is not. I do not see any chips, cracks, fleabites or blemishes. I have read Bischoff crackled from 1942 until 1963. Known for their quality glass they did not crackle a lot of glass. A great old decanter, unfortunetly many old pieces are stained from use back in the day. Please e-mail me with any questions. The bulbous bottom of this bottle has 3 large round indents accented with a painted medalion and a grouping of 3 raised balls in each indent. There are 3 single balls around the bottle where it tapers into the neck and there is a cluster of 4 balls atop the cork stopper. The bottle stands approximately 9-1/2" tall including the stopper by just over 5" across. Nice heavy pottery marked on the bottom as shown. I don't know what all the markings mean, I believe that Madeleine is the pattern, Plazuid is the factory and of course Gouda is the town in Holland. I believe this is an older piece from the 1920's; I'm sure the other marks indicate a more precise date and the artist but I am unsure of how to decipher ... morethese marks. This charming matching pair of mid century Erik Hoglund are a 1960's design by Erik Hoglund- a major figure for Swedish company Kosta Boda- for Neiman Marcus. His"people series" of decanters(as seen here) was sold exclusively at the high-end retailer. Hoglund's designs are particularly collectible because he was the design director for the Swedish glass/crystal giant from the late 1950s until the early 1970s. Here's a helpful excerpt from Unica Home website: Hoglund was one of the leaders of a revolution against the streamlined modernity of the 1950s. Preferring to go back to arts and crafts roots. His work also coincided with the beginning of the contemporary art glass movement here in the United States. This is a beautiful decanter stopper made by the Watson Co. around the turn of the century. It has a"D" monogram on the sterling top. The glass body is in mint condition. It stands 2 1/4" The silver top is 1 7/8" across. The glass portion that sits in the decanter is 1 1/8" at the widest point(where is should sit in bottle) There are no chips. Gorgeous frosted/etched glass bottle with stopper measuring approx. 9 1/2" tall. Bottom has a polished out center that you pften see in quality glassware. I believe I've seen this pattern in a book listed as Lalique but it's unmarked so I can't be sure of maker(any info would be appreciated) It's definitely a quality piece of glass and came out of an estate sale with many high end glass pieces. It's in great shape and is nice and clear with no chips or cracks. There is a little bit of residue in the bottom that I have NOT tried to remove but it should come out with a little cleaning. This is an antique/vintage water decanter/dresser bottle dating to the early 1900's. I'm not sure if they are considered satin glass or frosted glass. I can see the brush strokes and feel the paint on the flowers but I don't know if it was painted over a transfer. It measures 9.5in. tall with the stopper and the widest part has a diameter of just under 6in. Some minor flea bites and scratching on the bottom. The glass itself has spots which almost look like water marks. The stopper end has minor chips. Overall. I think it's in very good condition, considering its age. Vintage Mouthblown lovely Blue Crackle Glass Bottle or Decanter with Stopper by Rainbow Art Glass of Huntington. WV. This unique bottle has indented areas on two sides to make it easy to grip and pour. It measure approximately 6-1/2" high. There is evidence on the inside of the glass that it has been used There is a distinct pontil on the bottom. The Rainbow Glass label is faded but the name is still readable on close inspection. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. The stopper is in the unique Rainbow Glass design and is a clear blue glass. The bottom of the stopper is roughened. This is a beautiful Vintage Blenko Amberina Captain's Decanter with Stopper. It measures 10" high with the stopper in. The stopper may have had cork around the bottom of it to provide a snug fit but that is long since gone. If so. Or this may not be the original stopper, I really cant say. It came to me as a set, looks gorgeous together and is coming to you that way, too. The colors are quite vivid(please disregard the glare from my flash) There are no issues with this lovely piece. It is free of chips and cracks-doesnt look to have ever been used. There is a pontil present on the underside. Pictures do not do this beauty justice-it is absolutely gorgeous in person. You are looking at a set of 2 Amber glass items. The first is a lovely clear decanter/cruet with an amber stopper and applied amber handle. The second piece is a divided relish dish. There is a beautiful pattern on the plate. The cruet stands just over 8 inches. Has a bottom of approximately 2 1/2 inches, with a middle of just over 4 inches wide. Vintage 60's or 70's Large 12" Amber Quilted Genie Bottle Decanter With Stopper
12" to top of stopper. 9 1/2" to top of bottle. 26 1/2" around largest spot. The neck of the bottle, the ball stopper and the base have some bubbles in them. The stopper has about a 2" grooved line on the bottom part that sticks into the bottle. I believe it to be a manufacturing flaw. antique WHITE MILK GLASS w/ gold SWIRL DECANTER FLASK with stopper WAVE CREST
Offered for sale is a beautiful white milk glass decanter or flask. Complete with stopper. It has an intricate swirled texture, with curly acanthus-like leaves rising up from around the base. Both bottle and stopper are trimmed with gold. There is no mark on the flask, but it's definitely old, and I think it might be Wave Crest. The decanter stands 7 1/2 inches(19.1cm) tall to the rim. And 9 3/4 inches(24.8cm) tall with the stopper in place. It is shown with a U.S. quarter in the first four pictures, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance. The decanter is in perfect condition with no chips. Cracks or scratches. The painted trim shows some wear, and the stopper has some roughness around the base. All my items are from a SMOKE FREE home.
