The reverse has 5 stamps, the third and fifth, from left to right mostly obscured, but probably the lion passant English sterling stamp and the crowned panther head mark for London. The maker mark, WE, is probably William Eaton. The kings head profile duty mark is the next stamp. The fourth stamp is the year mark, l, for 1786-87. The label is around 2” at its widest and 1 1/2” high. It was around 1/2 ounce. The label is in excellent antique condition but perhaps needs a polishing.

Front and back. bound with ribbon, and a rose in the center of the bow…there could be what looks like two fish and splashes of water that make up the handle. on the sides.don’t know how to describe the metal caged neck of the bottle.The glass stopper is obviously hand blown. and saw cut at the bottom. It has flow marks and bubbles. The blue glass shows through the elaborate metal work of the neck of the decanter.We don’t know if the stopper is original to the piece.because it sits loosely in the bottle.This decanter seems to be in good shape for whatever age it is.it has the remnants of old green felt on the bottom of the metal feet.I

Antique Sternau Glass & Silver Decanter w/ Blue Cobalt Stain Cut Clear Design
Offered is an antique decanter with blue stain made by S. Sternau& Co of Brooklyn. New York circa 1900. It is 5 1/2" wide and stands approximately 13" high. The glass decanter has a blue stain. Light cobalt flash and cut starburst designs, using a cut to clear method. The decanter is trimmed in gold. The lid on the decanter has a silverplated border. Sternau is molded into the neck lid. The decanter is in very good antique condition. Without cracks or chips but some wear to the gold. The stain does not appear to be scratched but is a little oxidized in some areas. The cut pattern needs to be further cleaned.

This exquisite decanter is a real"treasure" that has been on display with our family for years! Purchased at an antique shop over 30 years ago. It is believed to be a rare piece of Bohemian Cobalt blue glass made in the Czech republic. The decanter stands a full 16" tall and 5" across, has a delicate gold"stopper" and is decorated with gold swirls and beautiful pastel beaded flowers! Impossible to photograph to capture all of its amazing details and craftmanship(see photos! you can easily imagine how magnificent this blue decanter captures the light- making it perfect for display! There is one photo of the bottom of this incredible decanter that shows it is signed and numbered, indicating a limited edition, however it is difficult to read. The decanter was purchased with six cordials- each detailed and beautifully ... moredecorated- all in perfect condition! There are many vintage bohemian glass pieces that can be found for sale that are similar to this one, but we could not find a single one that came close to the total beauty and elegance of this decanter and/or that had all six matching cordials! Danish Silver Collared Decanter with Cut & Etched Glass Body Johannes Siggard
This is a Stunning Danish Silver Collared& Glass Decanter. The deep silver collar has an outward lip and sits on top of the tall narrow glass neck. Into this is where the candle flame shaped cut glass stopper sits. Which hasa a star pattern in it. The beautiful cut glass bulbous body has two star shapes and then either side is a beautiful etched glass frosted flower with cut glass leaves above and below which is most unusual and very pretty, which makes this particular decanter a little bit different from the others. There is a large star shape on the underside. Superb Victorian Sterling Silver Brandy Bottle or Decanter Label by Hilliard& Thomason dated 1900 This Antique Decanter or Bottle Label measures approximately 3 5/ 8 inches or 93 mm in length from the base of the label to the top of the chain when it is hanging by 1 1/ 2 inches or 38 mm across the length of the label from side to side and it is just under 5/8 of an inch or 15 mm deep from the top to bottom of the label. The bottle or decanter label is made from sterling silver in an elongated oval shape that has its original sterling silver chain hanging from either side of its top edge. The label has a delightfully simple engraved rib decorated outer border around a central panel that has been engraved with the word BRANDY and it has Not been engraved with a previous owners initials or family monogram all as photographed below, the back ... moreof the label has been impressed with a full set of English s terling silver hallmarks that read as follows, H& T- Anchor- Lion Passant- a H& T is the Birmingham silversmith or makers mark of Hilliard& Thomason. The Anchor is the mark of the Birmingham assay office. The Lion Passant is the mark of English 925 standard sterling silver and the letter a is the date letter for 190 0. The condition is used and near Mint for its age. The Label has No Dents. No Splits, No Cracks, No Holes and No Repairs that I have found, the label is straight, the decoration and definition is very crisp, the silver hallmark is still clearly legible although as the label is a used antique it does have some extremely minor surface marks and wear from use along with the patina of age that is to be expected and a good clean would enhance it greatly. Art Nouveau Alvin Heavy Fine Sterling Silver Overlay Decanter with Stopper
An early Art Nouveau marked Alvin Sterling Decanter. The marking is faint but definately Alvin. It has an unusual design and measured 10 1/2 inches tall. It weighs nearly 2 1/2 lbs. There is some glass damage to the inside of the neck. I've tried to photograph the cracked glass which extends about 2 inches down the neck. There are some small chips to the decanter top which I've pictured. The glass has some cloudiness. Most of these defects are only seen through close inspection. It is truely a spectacular decanter!

London 1903 Click on the thumbnails to view more photos This sterling silver mounted cut glass decanter was made by the silversmithing firm of Edward Streeter. London, in 1902. It is fully hallmarked on both the sterling silver hinged lid and collar. The cut glass body is cut in a hobnail motif with 4 heart shaped sections. The silver lid, collar and handle are repousse and chased with floral, scroll and foliate motifs. The decanter is in excellent estate condition with little or no evidence of wear. Lohmann Gallery" which you can look up, the one they have is made by artist, Sylvia Stave"with#36 on the base, it sells for $7,500.00 in the gallery, mine has markings on the base as follows: manufactured by C.G. Hallberg Stockholm, Sweden c.1930/ silvered alpaca raffia makers mark C.G.H. IMA ALP#3 39-G. it looks as though someone has tried to polish and the surface is somewhat scratched, I'm certain this is just a case of missing"TLC, so, with some of this, it could once again be beautiful.
