Up for bid a beautiful antique blue opaline or murano glass lamp it has ribbed designs on the neck and the body looks like optic and is 28in around the glass on the lamp is 11in on the bottom and up to the globe the entire lamp measures 24inches to top of globe to socket it's 16inch to socket. The brass has acanthus designs and scrolls and a number 407 on the bottom of the brass base the lamp is in great condition which means no cracks or damage to the glass or the brass base works great. This listing is for a vintage antique Portieux French Opaline Blue Opaque Milk Glass Figural Mephistopheles 9" Tall Square Ruffled vase. It is embossed on bottom"Portieux" Depose" and is acid stamped"Made in France" in middle(see photos) It is in great condition overall. One of the ruffled on top has a 1/2" long hairline. Not sure if it was from the factory or is an actual crack(photo 11) Anyway it is not very noticeable. A couple tiny black dot factory inclusions. No other issues. This listing is for an Antique. Victorian Enameled Urn Vase, commonly referred to as a Bristol Vase, in Opaline Blue. The vase is hand-blown with a hand-painted floral and bows design and gold trim. The glass is semi-opaque. The pontil scar is a creamy blue. The pedestal style foot is similar to Victorian era vases attributed to France, however most originated from Bohemia or Belgium. There are no maker or decorator marks. The piece likely dates to the mid-late 1800's. The piece measures 12 3/8" high. 3 7/8" in diameter at the mouth, 4 7/8" in diameter at the base and weighs 1 lb 12.9 oz. The vase is chip. Crack and fleabite free. The artwork is in good condition with some marks and fading of the gold trim. The gold trim has faded and has some weak spots and one part missing at the base. 1825-40 UNMARKED MADE IN FRANCE BLUE OPALINE FLINT LACY ART GLASS FLAT TUMBLER
The item for bid is a Beautiful Unmarked Original Blue Opalline 3-11/16" Tall Flint Lacy Art Glass Flat Tumbler with a"SHELL& SCROLL" pattern that was Made in France by an Unknown Maker in the 1820-40 time period. It has a wonderful bell-tone resonance when lightly tapped. The tumbler has exceptional quality and was probably made by one of the major glass producers in France such as Baccarat. St. Louis& Etc. The exterior surface. Except the lip ring, of the tumbler is covered with an over-all tiny dot lacy pattern, with the molded pattern consisting of Beads, Shells, Scrolls, Feathers and Acanthus Leaves motif. It is partially translucent and exhibits a wonderful fire opalescence when held to natural or artificial light. The base ring has eight(8) individual lobes with the bottom having nine(9) concentric circles surrounded ... moreby four(4) looping rings that follow the contour of the lobes. The piece has excellent color. Clarity and pattern detail with the no visible defects. It measures 3-11/16" tall. 3-1/8" diameter across the top rim, and the base ring is 3-1/16" diameter. Stunning French blue opaline glass and silver plate basket
Just in from our recent trip to Europe: a French blue opaline bowl with silver plate outer basket. The basket is open-worked and features birds in branches of a cherry tree. The basket has three legs and the blue opaline bowl fits right inside it. The bowl is made of the dusky looking blue glass so loved in France. It has a hinged handle. The piece is in very good condition. With no cracks or crazing to the glass. The rim does have some unevenness to the edge, with a rounded rim and then an edge to the glass where it appears to have been cut in manufacturing. See pictures for a close-up. A beautiful vintage satin cased glass perfume bottle made in Italy for Saks Fifth Avenue. I purchased several bottles and perfumes from a local wealthy estate. This family owned a well known high end department store that went out of business 30 years or more ago. Measuring 7 1/2 inches tall. This lovely bottle is in a blue opaline color, a robin's egg blue with a white inner casing. The big stopper, in the shape of a flower, is just stunning! This bottle is in beautiful condition. And still has the Saks Fifth Ave sticker on the base. There is a small line of tape residue on the bottom(see photo of base) I have not attempted to clean it off. A wonderful addition to a perfume bottle. Vanity or opaline glass collection! I have never seen another like it!

This stunning little ashtray is made from French blue opaline glass with enameled metal(probably bronze) mounts. It measures about 4" in diameter and 1" tall. We have never seen one before that had enameling on the metal in pink. Blue and green. It looks like a small pool of water surrounded by flowers with lily pads for the cigarette holders. We are not sure where this piece was made, but suspect it may have been China due to the enameling and metal work. It was likely made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is in overall lovely condition. There are no chips or cracks to the glass and the metal work is in good condition. There is some loss to the enameling. It displays beautifully. It is only 3 3/8" long. 2 3/8" deep, and 2" tall. We have never seen one before that had enameling on the metal in pink, blue and green. We are not sure where this piece was made, but suspect it may have been China due to the enameling and metal work. It was likely made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is in overall lovely condition. There are no chips or cracks to the glass and the metal work is in good condition. The hinge works well.
