Art Deco Perfume Description: The item up for bids is a fine and rare art deco perfume bottle. It is a glossy black glass with a striking asymmetric design. There is a faint signature on the base- it's very difficult to make out but it looks like it says Made in Czechoslovakia with an oval around the words(the best picture of the mark that I could manage is#12) The stopper has a ground neck with a glass dauber. The throat feels ground. The base is polished smooth. There is residual dried perfume inside, it's no longer liquid but there is a scent. With its fantastic design in classic black, it surely would be a highlight in any vintage perfume bottle collection- have some fun and bid! Condition: It is in superb vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks and only the slightest shelf wear to the base. There are white specks on the ... moreglass in the photos. This is lint from the cloth I used to polish the glass. Up for auction today is a beautiful antique perfume bottle with a sterling top. This has a very unusual dispenser- you pump the handle up and down. Works too. The crystal portion looks Art Deco style to me.very heavy glass with deep cuts. The only problem I see is a rough corner(pic#9) looks like someone tried to smooth out a small chip. Not serious and you probably would not have noticed but I'm trying to be honest here. This bottle measures approx 6" tall x 5-1/4" wide x 2" deep. Nice substantial size bottle. This measures a total of 6" tall with a base measurement of 3 1/4" x 1 1/2" It is rhombus in shape with faceted edges. The flaring dauber compliments the design. This has a cut sunburst or starburst pattern. Both the top of the dauber. Top of the perfume and bottom of the perfume are ground smooth. The inside of the perfume and the part of the dauber that sits inside are also ground. This is in good condition with wear reflective of age and use. The glass is heavy and the item weighs 230 grams(including puffer/tassel) The glass has been cut to create lines which increase the impact of the geometric design with panels of silver and black. It measures 9.5cms in height and 8cms width. The large tassel/puffer is 20cms long. T he puffer must have perished after 80 years and is not in place. The silk is in excellent order as shown. Antique Singed Hawkes Etched Crystal Perfume Bottle Art Deco Style
This is another nice item I'm selling for a local estate. It is an antique signed Hawkes etched crystal perfume bottle with ground stopper. It stands about 5" tall with the stopper and is in excellent condition. The floral and leaf etching is in the Art Deco style. The bottom is signed"Hawkes" I had a difficult time getting a picture of it. But it is quite clear. There are a few surface scratches on the bottom of the bottle from being moved around over the years. There are also some very small dings on the stopper from going in and out of the bottle. However, there are no cracks, breaks or repairs.

Alfred A Flaster Perfume Bottle Fish Stopper Only Art Deco Waves & Hobnail
This is a vintage stopper for a Alfred A. Flaster perfume bottle. It is the stopper only. The bottom of the stopper has been chipped off and the cork is missing. The stem part has a crokscrew to it and it would be super easy to get a cork for it. I had thought about recycling a wine cork and using that but it wouldn't do any good as I do not have the bottle! The actual fish is in good condition, but there is a couple of flakes on the body just above the lip that rest on the bottle. It is in the first photo, I believe. On the tip of the tail at the top there is aome"roughness" but the seam is still there so I believe it is part of the mold and not actual wear. There is a small flake on the bottom edge of the lip that would rest on the bottle. Other than those two spots there are not any other chips, cracks or repairs. This is a very pretty pink depression glass. Art deco style perfume bottle. Although the bottle is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or fleabites, the atomizer is missing and the little spray tube is detached. I don't know if it can be fixed but this is still a very pretty bottle for display. The round chrome top is marked Japan. The bottle(with top) is 5 1/2" tall by 3" wide. The glass is unmarked.
