The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. The top monogrammed surface of the sterling lid is slightly dented with four pinpoint holes in the silver. Lid snaps shut. Cut crystal stopper has a bit of roughness to its top edge and minor use wear marks on the frosted stopper surface. Bottom of the bottle has a hand etched number 43. Hallmark on lid rim reads: S(maker mark) Anchor- P' Lion Unknown script initials on the monogrammed sterling lid. The bottle has not been cleaned and the silver has not been cleaned or polished. The lady has a tiny flea bite on the side of the pedestal. No other damage to the glass. There is some damage to one corner of the base as shown in the pictures. Difficult to see, guaranteed 935, it has the original blue glass stopper which fits perfectly, the screw top lid fits on top and fits securely. This is a very nice perfume bottle. There is very little damage if any.Its very hard to say its perfect but there may be a flea bite but the design makes it hard to see. It is very tall at 8 inches total and the stopper is over 5 inches alone. The bottle is footed with 4 feet and has a saw tooth pattern. One side of the topper is smooth and the other has a starlike pattern. The second picture is taken with low light to show the brightness of the sparkle. I am putting up for bids this Unique& Lovely Light Blue Art Deco Round Glass Perfume Bottle. It is quite different than most round perfume bottles; as it is shaped. I would say, like a pear. It is round in the middle, with a protruding rim across the bulbous body. It is very hard to describe because it is so uniquely shaped, but, you will not be disappointed if you like different looking perfume bottles. The long clear glass stopper does not go with the bottle, but it made the bottle look so much prettier that I just left it in. With the exception of a little bit of roughness around the edge of the bottle, it is in Mint condition with absolutely NO cracks, flea bites, or scratches on, or in it. vintage Shanghai perfume parfum by Lentheric in rare Art Deco bottle
This bottle of Shanghai perfume by Lentheric is in one of the most iconic shapes used by the company. This bottle. Like many older ones by Lentheric, was designed to have a functional ground-glass stopper and a decorative, non-functional bottle topper that rests loosely on top. Because these decorative toppers did not screw on or snap on, they were sometimes lost or discarded over the years, so it's nice to find a bottle like this one that still has its original topper. The Shanghai bottle topper is a dark orange plastic. The label on one side of the bottle reads"Lentheric" and it is still intact. The label on the other side of the bottle used to read"Shanghai" but it is now torn. So only the"Shang" part remains. The bottle. When measured with its topper, is 2 inches tall and 2.5 inches across and 0.75 inches ... morefront to back. I can smell the perfume when I sniff the neck of the bottle closely. However. The ground-glass stopper is stuck firmly shut. The good news is that I'm fairly certain that the perfume in the bottle is original and authentic because I own vintage Lentheric Shanghai in cologne form, and the smell of that matches this closely. The cologne is much lighter and weaker, though, as well as paler in color, compared to the richer, darker perfume in this bottle. When full. This bottle held 1/2 oz. according to the label on the bottom of the bottle. Shanghai is highly collectible among vintage Lentheric fragrance wearers. This is a vintage ornamental(and very unusual) perfume or liquid holder that was worn on a slender chain around the neck. It is a miniature antique gold metal container. With a hard metal mesh around it. It has a screw on cap and hollow inside to hold perfume or some other liquid, medicine or revival drops) It measures 1" high and a little under 3/4" wide. It has 2 tiny holes on the top of the lid where the neck chain went through. It is very clean and near mint, screw works perfectly, slight perfume smell inside. This is from family estate, I have kept in a curio cupboard, but have started selling off all my collectibles. Mailing is free by first class mail envelope.
