It is in excellent condition with gilt wear on the lip.there is a 1/4" faint orange line under the lip(I don't think this is a spider at all. I don't know a lot about it but I've tried to educate myself a bit by looking at similar eBay items. Not being an expert, it's hard for me to grade the condition. I tried to take detailed, close-up photos so you can get a good idea. There's a little wear here and there. One thing I can say for certain after looking it over very, very carefully is that I do not see a single crack or chip anywhere on it. This item is hand painted and signed"J.S. and"A.M.S. I don't know what this means. It also looks like it says either"9" or"99" but its hard to tell, the first character looks smudged. Antique Webb Art Glass Vase Cased & Enameled Acid Etched Basket Weave Pattern
Just out of a local house is this unusual art glass vase made by Thomas Webb and sons most likely around 1900. The vase has a base glass that shades from a sky blue to white. This layer was then cased with clear glass and acid etched with a basket weave pattern on its surface. The vase was then decorated with a yellow floral and butterfly decoration. I also has a lavender enameled top edge. The vase measures almost 11 inches high and about 5 inches at its widest. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks or chips only some light scratching on the bottom consistent with normal wear and handling. Vintage Antique Heisey Glass Emerald Green Crystal Vase Hair Reciever w/o Lid
I have this Deep Emerald Green Art Glass Vase or Hair receiver from Heisey Glass Company. It is marked with a small label on the bottom with a hand written Heisey on it faintly. I bought it at an estate sale. The glass is even prettier in person. A sphere shape. There is a smooth surface to the outside and a dot pattern that can be felt from the inside. A bubble in the glass bottom. The top is puckered a little which makes me think there was a lid at one time. It can be used as a vase or admired as a sun catcher as I have. The size is 5 1/2" tall. 6 3/4" at the widest and the base is 4" The top from outside to outside is 3 1/4" Extremely lite bites or nick to top edge inside.

Just a lovely Bohemian flashed glass vase for any collector of fine glass. It's a wonderful rich ruby red on frosted glass with clear margins around the designs. The bird and floral pattern are repeated on both sides. This vase is 10 1/2" tall and 4 5/8" wide at it's widest part. It weighs 11.7 ounces. My antique dealer tells me this dates to the late 1900's. The bowl was purchased in Europe in the early 1900's. The blank is 1/2" thick at the rim, which is lightly scalloped in sawtooth fashion. Cuts include primarily hobstars and punties, with some nailhead diamonds and squares. Based on the size and shape, this would make a very nice vase, in the style of a rose bowl. The glass is highly polished with a ground bottom, and the edges of the cuts are smooth to the touch, not rough or sharp. The glass is clear and the age in the glass is apparent. Under black light, the glow is more white than green, and I do not believe this is from the American Brilliant period. Please contact me if you have any questions. Antique 19th Century Meiji Period Enamel Japanese Ginbari Cloisonne Vase LOVELY
I was just mentioning to a friend the other day. That I haven't seen Ginbari Cloisonne in such a LONG time and lo and behold, I attend an upscale auction and estate sale last Sunday and find three pieces of it! I will be listing the other two pieces in subsequent auctions, so stay tuned! This Vase is an exquisite example. I just love the use in Ginbari Cloisonne of the brilliant foils. They positively glow. In this case there is blue and green foil which as hopefully you can see from my photographs, is shimmering. The detail and the work in this piece is really amazing. Such fine work and it must have taken hours and hours of painstaking work to achieve, by a very fine artisan. Please see all of my pictures for all of the detail and quality in this piece. The Cloisonne itself is in excellent condition. Antique Ancient Greek Terracotta Amphora Vase 2nd-3rd Century This is for an antique Ancient Greek terracotta amphora vase. Circa 2nd-3rd Century(100-300) Made of terracotta, the table-top size amphora is potted by hand, with a tall cylindrical curved neck, a bulbous body. Two loop handles, and a circular foot. The neck is slightly flared at the rim. With a curved lip, and is decorated around the sides with a concentric band of stippled decoration below two concentric bands. The body is also incised with concentric stippled decoration above two incised concentric bands. The amphora vase has two large carrying handles on opposite sides, which fit onto the neck and body. The interior of the neck has the remains of an integral pierced strainer. This amphora vase measures 24.8 cm in height and 15.3 cm in width. It weighs 1.010 grams. The condition ... moreis generally excellent, there are two small chips to the lip, and a chip to the integral strainer, there are no cracks, no other damage or repair, the terracotta has the patina of age, with a brownish orange hue. WE ARE OFFERING Antique French Hand-Painted Porcelain Cherub& Cloisonne Urn/ Vase We are offering for your consideration this lovely Antique French Hand-Painted Porcelain Cherub& Cloisonne Urn/ Vase. The Vase features a Porcelain body with antique white or cream colored. Gold patterned background, surrounding what I believe to be, a charming hand painted pastel focal Cherub. The reverse side of the Urn/ Vase features Floral Rose and Torch motif. Both center motifs are trimmed and decorated in blue accented raised gold gilding. The Porcelain body is mounted in Cloisonne in gold decorated dark and light blue colors. Also has gold colored ornate handles. Brass opening at top and at the bottom base and in between Cloisonne. The Vase measures approximately 7 7/8" tall. It is heavy with the porcelain body having a solid feel to it. ... moreThere are no identifying marks but I believe it to be possibly French in comparison to other similar Cloisonne and Porcelain Cherub painted Urns and Vases. There is a bit of discoloration to the brass at the base(where it connects to the porcelain body) On the Cherub side of the vase. Otherwise this beautiful vase shows very minor aging and is in overall good antique, pre-owned condition, having no chips or cracks. Please see pictures for best overall description of Urn/ Vase. The background is muted shades of earthy green and yellow, accented with veined green leaves and brown stems. Pink and white flower blossoms are added to the branches.
