Dimensions:Each vase is 7 3/16" tall.And about 4" wide,at their widest points.One vase weighs 1 lb.5.5 oz.s,and the other weighs 1 lb.6.4 oz.s.The variance in their weight,their height,and the use of silver as a substrate indicates to me that these are not production pieces,and that they most likely date to the late nineteenth or early twentieth century,and were almost certainly made prior to WW II. Condition:Their silver rims are tarnished.And the upper rim/mount of one is slightly dipped in a small area(the enamel looks perfect under this area)There is also some slight shelf wear on the undersides of the bottom metal rims/mounts.The enamel on both vases appears flawless at first glance.Minute inspection turned up a minute flea bite on each vase,in the clear red background area,and a few extremely tiny wear marks,which show as slightly darker areas,with the larger of them being perhaps 1/32" long and high.The two other marks are dots the size of the tip of a fine(tiny and thin) needle point.The pieces are otherwise flawless. Vintage/ Antique 1945? Japanese Cloisonne Vase Pair Cobalt Blue Flowers JAPAN
This pair of Vases is in extremely good condition. They are SO beautiful. They are approximately 10" tall. 3 1/2" wide and the mouth is about 2 1/3" across and weigh 1lb 2oz.ea. They are identical and both in perfect condition. They are marked JAPAN on the bottom in red. I did quite a bit of research to find out about the markings, or lack thereof and I found out that if they are only marked JAPAN then they most likely were made just after the end of WWII so sometime around 1945 making them 70 years old. Wow, they look good if they are that old. I don't know much about antiques, yet. it is something I am getting into so keep checking my page. I just aquired an original, mixed medium, authenticated and signed Salvador Dali. I may sell it, not sure yet but, my interest in such things has been piqued! Thanks for looking!

this auction is for a pair of chinese porcelain antique style electric lamps. the vases are approx. 17 inches tall and 7.5 inches wide. the vase plus the base is 20 inches. the harps are 12 inches. the finiels are 2 inches tall. total height is 37 inches. no chips. Cracks or repairs. both lamps are in good working order with a 2 way switch. i have seen examples of these vases being sold as antiques for thousands of dollars, but i think these are high quality reproductions. the bases and caps are a dark cherry wood color. i believe the" handles" are styilized foo dogs, and the symbols mean" double happiness" the hand painted decoration varies between the two vases. each lamp weighs about 10 lbs, i am estimating 8 lbs. for the packaging and box. for a total of 28 lbs. please.Ask any questions needed! the last photos are ... moreof other items i have on ebay this week. Matched pair of estate-found nineteenth century(we believe to be) circa 1880’s amber footed celery vases or spooners with double handles and an ornate embossed band around the base with a left facing profile portrait medallion head of a Victorian woman. We are unsure of the pattern or the maker but think they may be Adams& Co. Opera” or“Theatrical” Each measures just under 7” high to the top of the scalloped rims x 6-1/4” wide across the open handles with a 4” diameter top. The condition is excellent with no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs. Both have normal& expected tiny factory in-the-making bubbles(most in the handles& in the ball feet) The molding details are also good with good delineation on the woman’s fancy hairdo and on the scrolled band. Very Rare Pair of Art Deco Japanese Faux Champleve Vases. A lovely pair of Japanese earthenware Faux Champleve Vases Rare as Hen's teeth and to find a pair- well. exciting. The vases are made to imitate the Champleve Bronze vases. But made of heavy Terracotta, and decorated in the fashion of the bronze Champleve Vases. This pair stand about 22cm or 85 inches tall. And have base diameters of 9.5cm or 3.75 inches They have a maximum width of 13cm or 5.25 inches. Both have a little surface wear. As you'd expect, but nothing horrid. One has an old chip to the underside of the rim- see photographs 3 and 5. However, they display well, and their rarity and otherwise good order rather outshines this little fault. A lovely pair. Offered in this sale is a pair of Japanese Imari porcelain covered jars or vases that date to the mid 1800s. They measure roughly 9 3/8" tall x 5" in diameter at their widest tapering to 3" across the base. Unfortunately. I do not know too much about Japanese porcelain so I cannot say what the name of the pattern is. The condition of one jar and cover and the base of the second jar is excellent with no chips, cracks, flakes or hairlines. The cover of the second vase, however, appears to have been broken is a few pieces and somewhat professionally restored. The old restoration is OK but could be better. You can see this illustrated in the 10th& 11th images. Be sure to enlarge and zoom each image for a close up view of the detail and condition. Ormolu mounted porcelain vases with turned white marble pedestals, are believed to be of Russian origin and date from the late eighteenth century. They feature urn-shaped bodies with hand-painted floral decoration on front and rear, ormolu bronze foliate and ram head mounts, set upon white marble pedestals with gilt bronze mount with holly wreath motif. Square plinth brass bases with on-off switches were added in the early twentieth century to accomodate lamp wiring. Wiring, sockets and upper portion of the lamp hardware are new, and the lamps are ready for use. Each measures 22" tall to the top of the socket, 8" wide and 6.5" deep(55.9, 20.3 and 16.5 cm) and each weighs an estimated 18-24 lbs. ... moreCondition is very good.
