If they so decide. This piece is Electroplate Silver. And not Sterling! The Pitcher measures 3-1/2 inches across at the base. The top opening is 1-7/8 inches x 6-1/8 inches tall. The Syrup Pitcher holds 14 ounces of liquid. And weighs approximately 12.7 ounces. There is a small ding in the bottom rim. Which I mention strictly for accuracy. The top lid has the remnant of a hinge. But the top is gone! Please look at the photographs carefully. And judge the quality of this piece for yourself. Antique PAIRPOINT Silver Plate TEA POT& SYRUP PITCHER This auction is for an Antique Pairpoint Silver Plate Tea Pot and matching Syrup Pitcher. The Tea Pot measures: 10" high x 7 3/4" wide. Handle to spout. The Syrup measures: 6 1/4" high x 5" wide. Handle to spout. These are both in very nice condition with normal use wear. No dents. Dings, pitting, plate loss or mono. The Handle on the Tea Pot has a little wobble. It is slightly loose. The Lid and hinge are strong and secure with no repair. The Syrup Pitcher has a pin of some sort. Turned down on both sides, holding the lid on. It works fine. But know this isn't the original pin. You can see the hinge pin in the picture of the handle on the syrup. Vintage Or Antique Opaque Pale Green Glass Syrup Pitcher w/Flowered Design
This beautiful and unusual opaque glass syrup pitcher looks like milk glass but is a very pale green. Not white. The color is hard to see in the photos but if you look at the one showing the inside you can tell. It has a swirl pattern with 9 flowers arranged around the base of“curlicues” The steel top has a spring hinge. The pitcher is 7 1/2” tall and about 4” across at the base. The glass is in very good condition. With no chips or cracks and only a tiny scratch or two, barely visible. The seam on the handle is a bit rough but it looks like it was made that way. The steel top is somewhat corroded; probably was chrome plated originally? The corrosion may be cleanable but I have not tried. The piece looks Victorian but I don’t know how old it is for sure. Antique Glass SYRUP PITCHER w/ Metal Flip-Up Lid - Fancy Handle - Flared Paneled
Nice antique syrup pitcher in very good condition. The glass has flared paneled sides. A few old straw marks, and a smooth dimple on the bottom. The lid is some sort of metal. pewter color on the outside and a bit shiner on the inside. No hallmarks. The interior of the lid shows some wear(see photo) The outside is a nice"pewter" look. Around the outside of the lid toward the bottom, there's a slight handsome beaded trim. It's almost 5" tall and the bottom is 3-3/8" in diameter. There's a hinge on the lid so that the top flips up and down. I have not cleaned it. there's a slight bit of white-ish residue on the inside toward the bottom. nothing serious and can possibly be removed with a brush and cleaner. 19th Century Syrup Pitcher 19th Century Syrup Pitcher. This charming little silverplated syrup pitcher was made by The Hartford Silver Plate Co. of Hartford Connecticut and dates from 1882-1894. This piece is decorated in the Aesthetic Movement style. With a wide band of embossed stylized flowers encircling the top section. The handle and spout both feature bold decorations, and the sides of the pot have a chased apple blossom design. This piece has no monogram or inscription. The jug stands 5” 12.7 cm) tall and will hold 14 ounces of syrup. The lid on this syrup has a covered spout to keep insects out. This great old piece is in good condition overall. But does have a few flaws to note. The jug has two dents, one located on the lower side just below the chased leaves. The other dent is located on the edge of the base. There is some wear ... moreto the silver plating on the high points of the embossed floral band that decorates the upper portion of the syrup. There is overall wear(more like a“ thinning” of the silver layer on the side panels around the area where the apple blossoms are(see detail photos) There is a small worn stripe located on the inner curve of the handle. This auction is for a circa 1860- 1865 Quadruple Plate Hard White Metal Creamer(or as my deceased Mother-in-law use to say. when she was a little girl it was always on the breakfast table with maple syrup in it) So this belonged to my husbands great grandmother. For it's age it's in very good condition as you can see by the photos. The plate that it sits on not as good it has a little pitting in it as you can see from the photo's. It changed the holloware to Southington Silver Plate Co. Nov 1892, they then used the mark Southington C Co Quadruple Plate in two circles. This item is in awesome shape, there are a couple of dents, one where the head on the handle hit the lid when it is opened, 4 tiny dents below the row of lines at the bottom. It still has some oxidation on it and needs further cleaning. Featuring a tin metal flange and spring loaded lid. Glass is a striking sapphire blue color in a lovely swirl pattern which repeats on the applied handle. Bearing three vertical seam lines, condition is very nice with several straw marks in the curve of the handle, roughness where the top handle meets the glass from production, lots of stretch marks in the glass and a bit of surface rust on the interior of the tin lid- base has no pontil and bears a paper label which is illegible. Antique Lion Head Syrup Pitcher Server Clean Glass Silver ? Silerplate ?
Up for your consideration is an antique syrup pitcher with what appears to be silver or nickel top with grapes and a lion head. Please note: the bottom of the handle has a small gap between the handle and glass as seen in the last two photos. It is not completely attached. But still holds very well. It is very clean and I am pretty sure this has not been used. It was given as a gift to a relative of mine back in the early 1970's. I ship within the United States only. Vintage Antique Sliver Plated Heavy Glass With Flip Top Lid Syrup Cream Pitcher
Victorian Era Pressed Glass Pitcher Beautiful piece! The glass is extra thick and heavy on this vintage pitcher. I am not sure of the age or maker. It is solid and has a flip top silver metal lid with patina. The flip tab is slightly deformed on the back edge. I think that could be restored. There are NO cracks to the glass. The inside edge where the metal top is attached was either rough cut or adapted at some point. It is about 7" tall and approximately 5 1/2" wide overall. A neat old piece that would probably match the cruet set I currently have on sail as well. What you see is what you get. Great starting price. Take advantage! I do not accept returns. Antique McKee Ruby Stain Syrup Pitcher w/Pewter Lid -- FREE SHIPPING
MAJESTIC pattern was most likely made by McKee c. late 1800’s. The side panels have what looks like a starburst with blocks of four ruby stain squares between them. It has an applied handle. There is wear to the ruby on the squares and above the handle base. There are also small scratches to the body. The pewter lid is secure to the pitcher. The lid opens and closes. The lid cover moves slightly back and forth when manipulated. I believe this slight movement is due to age. The height is at 5 ½ inches tall. Please look at the pictures for details. At nearly 4" tall. This is a really cute pitcher for syrup or.something. The hinge works fine, and there are no chips or cracks in the crystal or glass container. This silver plate is worn off the outside, for the most part. As you can see from the third picture, it is still under the lid. It is a very sweet little item. Please feel free to ask questions.
