LG.Antique Milk Glass Syrup Pitcher with Pewter Lid - Gilt - Buttterfly, 19th C.
For your consideration today I have A LG.Antique Milk Glass Syrup Pitcher with Pewter Lid- Gilt- Buttterfly. 19th C. Very nice condition. 7 1/2" tall. PLEASE VIEW PHOTOS! They Are part of my Description! All the rest: All items are old and not mint unless I say so. Some wear is expected on vintage or antique items and not considered a flaw unless a major detraction. I find them at estate sales and e state auctions. Please don't buy a vintage item and expect it to be like new unless I mention it. If you want new. Buy new. I encourage anything electric to have a new plug or cord put on, just common sense. I do try out all things to make sure they turn on, or work as intended, but can not guarantee how long a 60 year old item will keep working. I leave them pretty much alone, only wipe off dust so as-found patina. Some items are mine ... morethat I have collected for over 40+ years. Please see photos as they are part of my description. Ask questions BEFORE bidding please. Your bid is a contract to buy. No bid retractions. I also don't sell" on approval" I do not take E-check! I also expect payment within three days. And I will ship within three days. Usually Mon-Wen-Fri. Happy to combine shipping to save you money. If shipping seems high, I am more than happy to refund excess to your paypal acct. I have to assume someone in California, Washington or Oregon is buying and guess shipping which, if you are on the east coast, may seem high. I do not set international shipping rates, please check BEFORE you buy. I am in Virginia, which is on the east coast. If you are in California, it will take a bit longer to get there, so please when rating my service, keep that in mind. I would like to hear about any issues so I may address them before you leave me anything but five stars and positive feedback. Our seller rates are based on Ebays system and to keep items as low priced as possible, we need your help. I will leave you feed back when you leave it for me!

Northwood Glass Daisy Fern Blue Opalescent Antique Victorian EAPG Syrup Pitcher
Northwood Glass Daisy Fern Blue Opalescent Antique Victorian EAPG Syrup Pitcher I just purchased this antique Northwood Glass Co. syrup pitcher from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The pitcher was produced as part of Northwood's Daisy& Fern line of opalescent glass. In production during the later 1890's. The glass is very nicely executed with crisp detail to the melon mold and embossed collar scrolling. The piece is done in a bright shade of sapphire blue which shows good clarity. The applied loop handle is in fine condition with no damage or heat checks(there is thin band of kitchen soil in the middle of the top attachment which you could soak out, no crack) The pitcher measures 5 ¼" high overall, 4" to the base of the lid, and 3 7/8" in diameter. Pewter Top SYRUP PITCHER Antique Enameled Opaque Milk Glass Pat. Jan 29, 1884
Wonderful old Opaque Milk Glass Syrup Pitcher with a Pewter Top. This piece is marked inside the spring loaded lid with teh initials O.K. or D.K. and the Pat Date Jan 29.84. Yes, that is 1884! In excellent condition for being 130 years old! I took a small piece of steel wool to clean off the date mark so it could be seen better in the photos. I am certain that with s slight bit more TLC this pewter could look just about new again. The glass body is in excellent condition also. but the hand painted flowers around the body of the glass are 75% worn off. I would have to assume that green vines and golden stamen had flower petals surrounding that in the beginning. It stands 7 1/2" tall about 4" wide at the bulbous base. The top has a spring hinge that keeps the lid on securely. Excellent antique piece of Kitchen- Dining service. Any ... morequestions. Please ask and take a quick moment to check out my! Thanks!

Please refer photos& ask questions. Marked with words"Patented Oct 24. 1865 66" AGAIN PLEASE NOTE: AS IS" Antique condition. Being sold for display use only! Very old 19th Century item with damage. Used with wear and flaws. Finish shows scratches. Dark tarnish, small dings and dents. Note many scratches, dark marks, tarnish, and small dings. I did try to enlarge several of my photos and I avoided the flash because of glare it produced. I will not polish and will let that up to the buyer. Design is ornate ... morewith tiny details of three part leaves in etched line relief. Somebody said it is"Ivy on the Vine"and the leaf motif goes around both sides. The interior of lid, top(spout neck) and the underneath bottom are still shiny. Handle is very gracefully curved and securely attached. The lid has detached on the lip back edge of the top and has a ding on rim edge. The hinge is straight and doesn't show damage and that surface is rather smooth so I think it could possibly be repaired by a jeweler. The finial on the top of lid looks like a stylized"fleur-de-lis" motif. Even with these issues it still fits nicely on the pitcher. I did toy with the idea of having this repaired to use as a serving piece. I also was approached by an artist who makes small tabletop fountains and bird feeders from antique silverplate. but I think it should go to a collector. My grandmother used it for maple syrup when she served crepes& pancakes AND only REAL Canadian Maple syrup would do for her family! She and I shared of love of horses and a portion is going to support OTTBs. Very dainty and pretty. AND It really is nicer in person. BUT look closely to please be comfortable with

Antique EAPG Ruby Stained Diamond Point Syrup Pitcher with Lid, 6 1/4", 1 Pint
This listing is for an Antique. EAPG Ruby Stained Diamond Point Band Syrup Pitcher with etched SEMC(tallest to shortest) and metal lid. The spout is sloped above the rim with an elegant curve, resting upon a shoulder which forms the top of the neck. The pattern at the neck features 1/4" diamonds with a band triangles at the top and bottom. The bowl is bulbous and smooth with a beautiful ruby red stain. The collar base is clear with a starburst design. The handle has a basic shape with two dowels at the top for the lid to attach. The body is a three part mold. The lid is unmarked but appears to be silver plate or nickel silver and has a wonderful plume design extending outward from the tab at the back. We've been unable to pinpoint a manufacturer. But the piece certainly dates prior to 1910. The piece measures 6 1/4" high. 4" ... morein diameter at the bowl, 2 3/8" in diameter at the neck, holds almost 1 pint of liquid and weighs 1 lb 4.2 oz before packaging. The piece has some small condition issues as found with most EAPG glass. The interior shoulder at the top of the neck(inside above the diamond points. Below the spout and rim) has three small chips in succession which are difficult to see, but can be felt, combined length of approximately 1/2" maximum of 1/16" in any other direction. Three diamonds have damage above the flashing near the handle as seen in the photos. The pour spout has two encased air bubbles common to EAPG glass, but worth noting. The stain is complete with only very small marks notable only under close inspection. The SEMC and decorations are in excellent condition with some flaws in application as seen in the photos. The glass has a light glow under UV lighting and is beautifully clear. The foot shows light wear as expect after more then 100 years. The top of the handle has a flaw or heat check inside the glass visible from the interior, it can't be felt and doesn't reflect light like a crack. The lid has nice patina and is free of dents, dings, bends, gou

Antique Syrup Pitcher Patented Oct. 24, 1865 Silverplate
Antique silverplate syrup pitcher- has unusual design with an inside opening rather than a pour spout on the rim- found information online that states"patent for a cut-off inside syrup pitchers obviated the need for a drip plate. meaning that it didn't have to be set on a separate saucer to catch the drips- stamped on the bottom PATENTED OCT. 24, 1865- no company marking but did see several on sale from Meriden Co. with this patent date also stamped on them/however, I cannot say for certain that Meriden made this pitcher- the thumb rest and lid plate are intact- beading around the edge of the lid- feels rough inside but difficult to see because of the narrow opening- lot of tarnish and wear inside the lid- no obvious dents seen- I have not polished this pitcher at all- has a little wobble in the lid hinge- feels very balanced when ... moreyou lift it as if to pour. Weighs 1 lb. 1.8 oz- stands 8 1/2" tall- top is 2 1/2" in diameter- bottom base is 2 3/4" in diameter- approx. 3 1/2" wide at its fattest point. I am not an antiques dealer- just a person who loves the old silverplate pieces and sometimes I have too many! I think they are beautiful pieces of history and I actually use many of them. I love the connection of using something that someone else used 100 years or more ago. That being said. Please understand that my description is made to the best of my limited knowledge of what I'm selling- and what I'm seeing in front of me. I've tried to take enough pictures that you can see what you're buying but if you have any questions, please ask me. If you purchase this piece and feel that it is not as I described. Antique Beacon Silver Syrup Pitcher and Underplate, Quadruple Plate, FB Rogers
This listing is for an Antique- Vintage Beacon Silver Co. Quadruple Plate Syrup Pitcher and Underplate. The piece features a leaf engraving on one side and fine Greek Key pattern below the leaf decorated handle. The underplate or spill tray fits the pitcher base perfectly and was designed to catch spills. The bottom of both pieces are marked"Beacon Silver Co. Taunton. Mass. Quadruple Plate" Additionally the pitcher is marked"810" and the numbers"111" are hand etched into the base and inside of the lid. The Beacon Silver Co was a trademark for the F.B. Rogers Silver Co and was introduced in the late 1800's and continued likely into the 1930's. The style and engraving lead us to believe the piece likely dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. The pitcher measures 6 3/4" high and 3" in ... morediameter at the base. The plate measures 4 5/8" in diameter. Combined the set weighs 11.6 oz. Both pieces are free of dents. Antique Syrup Pitcher Cut Crystal Glass Silver Plated Top - Lovely 1800's Piece
Very nice antique syrup pitcher. Cut crystal with silver plated top. Rubber? seal around interior top. I believe it is from the 1800's. About 4.5" high x 3.75" from spout to handle. This was owned by my grandmother who collected cut glass/crystal and has been well taken care of. I only see a few minor spots on the silver plate that would need polishing or retouching. I see no chips or problems with the crystal base. Thanks for looking. Bid with confidence, check my rating!
