Vintage antique Maddocks porcelain large pitcher with a nice grey blue and white Dutch and sailing vessel design. Reads: MADDOCKS WORKS LAMBERTON ROYAL PORCELAIN. Measures approx. 11 1/2" at its tallest. And 9" in diameter at the base. No chips, cracks, scratches, or crazing and I would consider it in good condition for its age. Has some staining on the inside that you can see as it has not been cleaned and had dirt in it. A great display piece- there is no apparent repairs or cracks evident AS IS condition. However, no apparent crazing, dirt inside, some use evident Here for your perusal is this Wonderful Porcelain Water Pitcher It would have once been part of a set. There would have been a large bowl to hold the water for the washing of the face and hands. There might have been a soap dish. It was made by the Maddocks Lamberton Works out of Trenton. New Jersey. It was called Royal Porcelain. Based on the back stamp on the base. The Pitcher possibly would have been made between 1892 and 1924. Based on the nature of its usage, it was mostly on the earlier side. This pitcher is huge. At least as pitchers go. The approximate circumference of the body is 25 inches. Its tallest point is 11 inches at the spout. It weighs in at over 4 pounds. It is embellished with grey blue and white detailing. My guess is of a charming Dutch village and sailing vessels. Certainly it has slightly faded with time and use. But there are no surface type chips on the base. There is normal wear to the base. I have not cleaned the pitcher and it is dirty inside, but I have left that for

No hairline cracks, no repairs. ... moreI must point out there is some dirt/dust or grime in the bottom of the cups and pitcher and inside sides of pitcher. Some crazing in the glaze. Difficult to photograph the wonderful color of these. The white pottery underneath appears to be porcelain. These are thrown. No markings. The glaze is a mottled blue/green with some drips and one side of the pitcher has a feathered effect due to the glaze. These came out a fine portland. Oregon estate of Arts& Crafts pottery. I was assured they are C1910-1920 and were displayed by the great-grandfather of the person selling them, for years in his hutch and then handed them down in the family, we were told they were from England. I thought they were new when first seen because of bright colors and condition but upon further inspection of the build up of dirt/grime in the bottoms and inside side of pitcher I feel this these are old but in just wonderful/loved condition. I have not attempted to clean/wash these. I would be doubtful if ever used. They are just beautiful. Maker unknown. Please see all photos. You can see the color of the porcelean under the glaze in a few areas, including the bottoms. Total UNPACKED weight is just under 3 pounds. A wonderful blue ... morespatterware or spongeware(depending on who you talk to) with a gorgeous Pearlware glaze. Which is bright white and in the corners has a light bluish tinge to it(because of the cobalt which was added to the glaze) The pitcher is a wonderful tall and large bulbous pitcher with flared foot and wide spout. With an applied ornate handle. The top of the bulbous portion of the body and just above the foot has a nice molded line band around it. The bowl has blue decoration inside and out. Which I couldn't find many that had decoration on the outside of the bowl. The bowl has a lined border band around the top edge of the bowl as well. Has a small flared foot. Wide top edge. The pitcher measures approx. 10-1/4" by 8-1/2" and the bowl 13-1/2" by 4-3/8" The pair is in amazing condition. Usually this type or pottery is chips. Cracked or stained. The only issues with these pieces are the handle is applied to the body and where it meets the body on the left hand side is a space. Not a crack or broken. Just a slight space where it meets the body. The bowl has some minor wear in the bottom base of it inside. Where the pitcher sat and scuffed it up. There are no chips, cracks or repairs or stains. Amazing this piece has survived in this condition! It is unmarked on the bottom. Not even a registry mark. Which I think means it pre-dates the use of it in the 1940s.

I don't know a lot about it but I've tried to educate myself a bit by looking at similar eBay items. Not being an expert, it's hard for me to grade the condition. I tried to take detailed, close-up photos so you can get a good idea. There's a little wear here and there. Antique EAPG Heavy Milk/Water Pitcher - Double Wedding Ring & Fan Diamond Cut
Amazing Flint Glass EAPG Milk or Water Pitcher Beautiful very heavy antique pitcher is about 7" tall& measures about 8" from spout to handle. The glow under a blacklight is an amazing yellow-green color. Along the top edge is a scalloped sawtooth pattern with double wedding rings underneath. Under the rings are fans and cut diamond patterns. The inside edges of the handle have a ribbed texture and the bottom has a fancy cross& starburst design. Now for the bad news. it has two very small chipped areas. One is on the base opposite the handle(see photo 8) and it measures less than 1/8" The other is a tiny 1/16" chip on the side that would face you if the handle is to the right(see photo 9) Neither is obvious to the eye but you can feel them. The handle has a crack, and there is a vertical crack near the handle on the side, staining inside the pitcher and two small cracks that do not extend to the exterior, and crazing on the bottom. A Lovely Little J ug in Copeland Spode's Herring H unt Pattern This Jug was created circa 1930's- 40's it has a classic form with a swelled body straight collar and tapered pouring lip. The handle is subtly modeled and glazed in mottled brown and green to resemble a tree branch. There is a Green band around the top of the jug The front and back of the jug are decorated with scenes taken from the Fox Hunt Engravngs of Noted Artist J.F. Herring. These scenes are entitled"Taking the Lead" and"Leaping the Brook" The Scenes have been transferred onto the jug then hand colored by the talented China Artists at Copeland-Spode. Antique Nippon pitcher, small and sweet!
For your consideration is a diminutive antique Nippon pitcher. Featuring a hand-painted scene on both sides of a mountain with a tree and brush in the forefront, and small sprigs of flowers. The cream designs around the base have a lustre finish. Condition is good with no chips or cracks, and only a slight loss to the deep red trim. This piece measures just 3 1/2" high and 2 1/4" wide. The curved design of the top and the handle seem Victorian, but I am not sure of the age of this piece. Also, I was unable to read the signiture on the bottom(it is small writing) I believe from the green color and shape of the mark that it is Nippon. It also has a green#3. With a 6 ½ in. diameter base, and has a diameter of about 7 in. at the largest part of the body. It is not marked but this Decorated Stoneware Pitcher shows a strong Remmey Pottery influence. It was found in the Philadelphia area and there are several known examples of their pottery with the same floral design and pitcher form. The upper section has a 3 ¼ in. tight hairline that does not extend into the rest of the body. There is also a 1 in. line at the top inside that does not show on the outside. The pitcher still rings when tapped. Amazing antique set of what I strongly suspect to be Western or Monmouth Stoneware. Grape& Lattice(or trellis) pattern in a very unique, almost sage green glaze. The beer/iced tea/lemonade set consists of a 32 oz. pitcher, and six 20 oz. mugs. I have spent hours researching this, and have found nothing exactly like it, which is why I just say I suspect it's Western or Monmouth stoneware. In near-mint condition. With only a few glaze flubs and stray bits of clay, which happened in the manufacturing process. Overall, it's pretty incredible to think that this set has survived intact for as long as it has. The exterior is silver plated and it has a very fancy scroll and flower embossed design at the top and bottom. On the front, there is a really neat engraved flower and fern design. On the interior there is a porcelain liner which is unusual and was probably much more expensive when it was purchased 100+ years ago. Antique Vintage Numbered Thrown ttery Jug Pitcher Crca early 1900's Description: A rare find! This listing is for a beautiful thrown. Salt glazed pottery jug style pitcher. We don't know its exact age, but believe it to be from the early 1900's, most likely around 1920. The handle is ribbed and has a'seam" in the center, which is one indication of its age. Newer pieces would have been molded and would not have this seam. It is a textured jug with a brown bottom and blue top. It stands approximately 10" high. The textured spiral bottom is indicative of it being produced on a pottery wheel. Visible marks on the pitcher showing where it was pieced together, show it to have been made using a coiling technique. It tapers down to a small base, as is typical of pieces from the early 1900's, where the clay would have ... morebeen pressed into a bowl to form the base, before being placed on the wheel. We don't now which company or artist made this piece, but it is done in an ecru colored clay and numbered 2539 which is not hand numbered, so was obviously done with a metal engraver's plate or was part of the mold. Condition: Very Good pre-owned condition. There is one very small area with a tiny chip or glaze loss at the lip and a few specks of glaze loss near the base. As is to be expected. Antique Chocolate Pitcher-Miles Mason-Lane Delph, Staffordshire, England-ca-1810
Here is a very old what I will call Chocolate Pitcher. This is the oldest piece I have ever had the pleasure of researching. Found the mark on the bottom in"Kovels' New Dictionary of Marks" book by Ralph and Terry Kovel. Page 125. This pitcher is overall in very nice condition. There are 2 small nicks around the top edge. Both are almost exactly the same. You can see one very clearly in one or two of the pictures I have taken. Then on the bottom. There is a very, very tiny hairline crack that ends on the bottom. I don't know if you can see this in the picture or not. It is very small. The date this mark was used. According to this book, was from 1800 to 1816. The factory this piece was made in was open from 1792 to 1816. It was then either closed or sold. This does have a lid. But it is no good. The top piece is broken off ... morethe lid. I will, of course, ship the broken lid with the pot, just because I can't throw it away. I cleaned the pot as well as I dared. And it's not to bad. I did not mess with the lid, so it is gummy and crappy. Questions are welcomed. We only charge you what the post office charges us to ship your items. No hidden fees or charges of any kind. The bulbous part of the jug is about 8" Inches across. A large and substantial pitcher. The Bowl measures 14" Inches across by 5" Inches tall. This will date from the late 1800s/early 1900s. The glaze is shiny and bright with no staining/toning. Minor normal wear. No cracks, chips or repairs other than the chip noted on the bowl's top rim. Heres a very nice and unique 6 panel antique crystal pitcher.The pitcher is totally quality glassmaking through-out.The upper rim is ground and polished.The handle has elegant sweeping lines.The scalloped panels are"artfully" done.The base has a drip pontil.The pitcher measures a petite 8" tall by 6-1/2" wide including handle.Condition is good. 2 flaws a small flake on the outer edge of handle(not sharp or even noticable) and also on joining edge of 1st panel right at base of scallop.I believe this maybe a original flaw in the making its a hard to describe rough spot in the glass. Believe me I mention these minor flaws only to be totally honest, niether really detract from this piece.This is a great old antique crystal pitcher. I pack very careful and ship fast.

Antique Victorian erra cased peach color glass pitcher with an attached clear branchy type handle. It is peach glass encased with white interior. The exterior has a swirled pattern and the color blends down to very pale peachy white. It measures 6 1/2" tall at its highest point. The opening is 2" diameter, the bowl is 3 1/4" diameter. Inside casing has a small nick from the polishing of the flat top. There are no cracks or chips. It is certainly a beautiful, graceful piece of peach glass. I do not accpet returns or give refunds. Antique Cranberry Glass Pitcher Hand-painted White Enamel & Gold
5-3/4" high pitcher with clear applied handle. Has a slightly rough pontil. There is one small chip off of handle where it is attached at top- not very noticeable since it is underneath. Otherwise in good condition for its age.The white enamel is mostly intact but more wear is evident on gold painted trim. This appears to be an older piece, possibly Victorian from the style of decoration. I do not see any makers mark.
