Antique La Francaise Vitreous Pitcher
Very Old Pitcher La Francaise with the 18 kt gold around the top intact Gold like Blazon on both side By the Picture of a Windmill and a Boat Color are great. The pitcher is about 100 years old It sa a hairline break about 1 inch 1/2. Some crazings and yellow on the porcelain by the handle and on the sides. That why I took a lot of pictures. Otherwise colors are great I had it on display but had bought it at an estate sale. I believe it was made by the French China Company in Ohio Under Under the Logo of the Fleur de Lys I say La Francaise and Vitreous Also as the number 141 and initial who are I think BJ From the artist perhaps On Jan-06-13 at 10:13:47 PST. Up for auction is this cute little green glass pitcher.it is 3 1/2" tall and approx 3 1/4" in diameter.Has 3 gold gilt medallion feet, A beaded rim, A sunburst on the bottom and A pour spout.It says Eddie 1919 on it.It has a few minor scratches on the opposite side of where it says Eddie.I picked this up at an estate sale so I dont know much more about it.No chips or cracks.Thanks for looking. Not sure if this is Coudersport or not but it does have some of the same features of other Coudersport pitchers I have seen. If you know anything about this pitcher. Please contact me. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. No heat checks to applied handle. Each tumbler has one fleck out of the rim that you can feel to the touch. Antique Dresden Pitcher Marked -- Sea shell, flowers, hand-painted, gold, branch
This beautiful pitcher has no chips. Cracks, or crazing! The gold detailing is somewhat worn, especially on the handle, but the hand-painted flowers are bright and unfaded, with very few signs of age or wear. This pitcher stands about 5 1/2" tall and a little over 7 1/2" wide including the handle. It has been in the family for a long time. I have not been able to find any information on the mark. So I cannot state it's age for certainty. Please inspect the pictures for details. And let me know if you have any questions. C. 1920s. The pitcher is in the Victorian hobnail design, and made of white glass cased over a layer of pink. The handle is an opalescent white. It is in mint condition, free of any flaws. The pitcher measures 8" tall and about 7" wide. How do I know it is Loetz? When I first noticed the"button" applied to the middle portion where handle meets the pitcher. I recognized the same design on verified Loetz tango pieces. Then, I saw the Loetz acid-etched mark which is"Made in" Czecho, and"slovokia" on three consectutive lines. Antique 1899 EAPG Delaware Pitcher and Tumbler Victorian Bedside Water Set American Beauty Perfect antique decor for a Bed and Breakfast. A Victorian pitcher and tumbler for the nightstand! Dating back to 1899, this is a beautiful American Pressed glass pattern made by US Glass Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; it is one of their States patterns(Line No. 15,065) The pattern features an all over fine stippling with bold raised leaves and flowers. There were many different color combinations produced. This one has clear stippling that almost appears to be frosted with Cranberry Rose stained leaves and flowers and gold gilding. There is a beautiful prominent cranberry stained leaf running down the exterior of the handle. It is a gorgeous set! This pattern was called by different names during the years it was produced. In the United States ... moreGlass Company catalog of 1900. It was called"American Beauty" in the 1904 Factory D catalog, it was called No. 111; and in the 1902 Canadian Diamond Glass Co. catalog it was called No. 206- New Century" It has also been called Four Petal Flower. Measurements: large tankard style water pitcher measures 9-3/8" tall and just over 5-1/2" wide at the bottom; tumbler measures 3-3/4" tall and 3" wide across the top. The pitcher is quite substantial. Weighing almost 3-1/2 pounds. As is quite common with this pattern. There is wear to the gold gilding, especially on the pitcher, but even so, it displays beautifully since the cranberry color is still mostly in place. The gold gilding is in better shape on the tumbler although its rose stained leaves and flowers are a little lighter than on the pitcher. There are no chips or cracks on either piece with the exception of a very tiny nip on the edge of one of the leaves on the tumbler, not noticed by sight but found by feel. You will just love this set even more in person!

This is a beautiful 2 Quart size pitcher It is unmarked. However, I think is Chelsea Lavender Grandmothers ware Pitcher. A scrolled design and a raised lavender grapevine, Leaves, flowers and fleur style design. On each side of the pitcher at top edge is an Angel or Cherub on Clouds scene. There is one hairline crack on one side edge of pitcher and is visible in photos, around 1/2 inch long. Doesn't affect the pitcher. Some discoloration in the finish around top edge and on inside bottom. Other than that it is in excellent condition. Several pictures to view. This pattern has been attributed to both Canton Glass Company of Canton. Ohio and also Bryce Higbee of Pittsburgh. It was made sometime during the 1880's. It is decorated with dahlia blossoms on leafy stems against a wide stippled band. This pitcher is in good condition having no chips, no cracks, no repairs. There exists a few minor and very typical straw marks. The pitcher measures 8 3/4 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches from pouring spout to handle. Up for your consideration on this auction is: Antique Milk Glass Large Syrup Pitcher PETUNIA SWIRL Metal Spring Top Okay. I had to dig deeper into my reference material to give you the following information that I could find on this syrup pitcher. According to William Heacock from his 1976 book entitled Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass, Book III- Syrups, Sugar Shakers& Cruets(page 50 if you have this book) He pictures this piece and claims the pattern name of Petunia Swirl but gives no positive identification on the manufacturer. Also I found a picture of this piece in the book entitled Collectors Encyclopedia Of Milk Glass by Betty& Bill Newbound(page 136 if you have this book) They claim the pattern name of Flower Swirl. This is what I have found on this piece. This item is excellent condition with no chips. Cracks ... moreor nicks. No flea bites or roughness. No discoloration or graying to the glass. The spring top appears to be original. I can see some darkening to the plaster on the inside rim that holds the metal top on. This is not a fool proof way of determining if the top is original but as of now it's the best way I know how to make a safe opinion. The lid has some wear but not major. It is roughly 7 1/4" high to the top of the lid. The body of the syrup pitcher around the body is roughly 4 1/2" in diameter. The spring on the top is tight and works really well. In all it is a very nice, old syrup pitcher. Buyers with multiple purchases please wait for invoice to be sent out to you before making payment. This is done in the belief that most buyers prefer to receive them as original as possible. Because the items I sell can come from anywhere. I can't guarantee they all come from smoke free environments. DESCRIPTION: The pitcher shows a little wear but is in good undamaged condition. The pitcher is a little unusual in the fact that it has about the weight of ironstone but is translucent. Vitreous, in material which was unusual for most American potteries of the time. The pitcher is marked in blue on the bottom"Lamberton China. I'm fairly certain the company was in operation only for a short time under that name and the vitreous pieces probably only for a couple of years. It dates from ... morethe late 1800's ot very early 1900's. The pitcher is about 5" in height. Antique Pilgrim? Miniature Jug Pitcher Amberina Blown Glass Glows Under UV
This 5 1/4 inch tall jug is rich in character. Not really sharply 2 toned. But it is very light at the bottom, and quite dark at the top, with a clear crested rim. The crystal clear handle starts with a kind of up-shifted glob at the top, and flows beautifully down to a nice tucked-in curly glob at the bottom. The really unique thing about this piece is the"orange slice" design. With the lines coming from the bottom. And radiating up the sides, it looks like it was made from 10 wedges, like an orange. It also has a bit of a lip around the bottom rim. Never seen one like this before. Possibly pilgrim glass. UPDATE: Blacklight shows the bottom 1/2 glows an orangish color. ANTIQUE MID 19th C.ENGLISH PARIAN BLUE & WHITE Sm. PITCHER-CHERUBS W/ WINE
This pretty little pitcher measures 4" 10.2 cm) in height. 2 1/2" 6.3 cm) in diameter at the widest point and 3 3/4" 9.5 cm) from the end of the handle tip of the spout. The quality is very good. The parian embossed designs are very detailed, well formed and elevated. I feel this piece is English because Bennington signed most of their Parian and their detail was not as good. Also, the blue background has tiny pinpricks(or pinpoints) and, as on this pitcher, the English pinpoints were much more evenly spaced, linear and orderly than the wares of their American counterparts. Another clue is the fact that the pitcher was purchased in England fifty years ago. The inside is glazed, so it can be used without staining. One of the cherubs depicted on the pitcher has a large wine urn with a pointed base(amphora) and the other is holding ... morea cluster of grapes. The carved Parian bases that they sit on our also detailed. The background is covered in grape clusters, grapevines and leaves. Also depicted are two intertwining vines on either side of the handle, that flow into the design of the handle, which is also a large vine. The oversized thumb guard and the handle base are both grape clusters covered by large leaves. The handle is an exaggerated bracket shape and there is a nice Parian"foot" rim on the bottom of the pitcher. There are two blue dots on the bottom, as well as two sets of numbers. One set of incised numbers reads"66" and the other is"36" To the right of the"36" is a very lightly embossed symbol, that is very difficult to see. These pieces were done by other companies like T. J. J. Mayer and Minton. Minton did not always sign their Parian pieces, as with this one. Plus, they used symbols for different years. I have seen other similar pieces by Minton and the quality was the same. These pieces were made at the height of their popularity from 1845 to 1858. ANTIQUE RO YAL BAYREUTH SEALIFE PITCHER* Estate item. Offered is a magnificent creation of Royal Bayreuth. Th is milk pitcher measures 4 3/4 inches in height and is unmarked. No letters or markings are on the bottom of this piece. It does however have a pattern of a shell and this is concave in nature. The upper rim and under neath shell t one are purple with the rim being somewhat brighter in color. A sponge like- spatter like stri pe encircles the shell body in a bo lder purple-brown color. This is about the same tone as the darker hue of the spiny seahorse's exoskeletal backbone. Gradually his color lightens to have a p urply-cream belly. Unfortuna tely he isn't p erfect. For your consideration is this Antique EAPG Ruby Flash Stained Souvenir Button Arches"Mother" 1907 Pitcher. It measures approximately 6 3/4" tall and 5 7/8" wide. Measuring from the spout to the edge of the handle. As stated it is the Button Arches pattern. On the front it is marked, MOTHER 1907. CONDITION: There is one thin flake on the handle. It is so thin. I almost missed it. It measures about 1/4" long. Other than that, there is one small rough spot on one of the raised clear glass nodules in the button arches pattern along the bottom. You can only really feel it and not see it. Also, there is a very tiny defect on the rim near the handle on the pitcher. Mostly, can just feel as well. Nippon Ewer Pitcher Vase Hand Painted Florals Mums Cobalt Antique Victorian
Georgeous unmarked handled Nippon ewer. Can also be considered a pitcher. Or could be used as a vase with sprigs of greenery. Lots of hand painted details, including flowers, cobalt trim and lots of gold enamel beading and trim. Medallions of mums surround the vase, including the neck. Background is white and robin's egg blue. Nice size at 9" tall. Very colorful porcelain decorative piece! In excellent condition. I can find no damage. I feel a tiny spot of roughness on the back spout tip. But in looking at it with a magnifying glass, I can see it is a manufacturing blip. Please be sure to check out my vintage.
