Indents, felt knee hugger elves or elf pinecone gnomes, Santa’s or reindeer from the 1940s and 1950s. Each of my wreaths range from 14” to 21” and are artfully put together with either spun cotton fruit. Shiny brite striped balls, indents, mercury glass, antique glass garland and spun tinsel antique or world garland and have sturdy wire or ribbon hangers. Recently. I have incorporated old corsages with spun cotton Santa, and glass icicles and glass beaded garland, not to mention shiny brite and german touches. I love the 1920s accents mixed with 1950s felt and Poland glass ornaments from feather trees decorated like old world Christmas. My wreaths are each one of a kind or OOAK and come wrapped in heavy bubble wrap and peanuts ... morefor safe travel to your or a loved ones door. The piece has had added green cold paint decoration around neckline and wrap hem which has worn with age. Product Details: Materials: Blown glass Measurements: Approx. 9 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" wide at base. Age: Antique Condition: Great vintage condition but has some wear to silvering as is common with this type of antique piece. He also has a bruise to glass on back of base as shown and a flake chip off top of head as shown. The head is solid so there is no silver inside it and with age. It has turned the slightest bit lavender. Not as dark as photos show. Hallmarks: None. Really a gorgeous antique mercury glass statue. This listing is for an awesome Puss N Boots mercury glass Christmas tree ornament. It measures about 7 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. The only flaws I can find are spots of flaked paint on one of his boots. The back of his shirt, and a tiny spot on the inside of the leg. This is very hard to find ornament and his sword is intact and it has the original feather on the hat. I have not cleaned this piece and will leave that to the new owner. There are a few spots within the grooved wall that have spots- but they are not rust, just discoloration, a professional polish will get them out. The thermos is complete. It has the cover/ cup on the top which screws off. The cork is original too! and is marked Thermos Brand. The cork is in great condition too, with just a chip on the bottom. 9' Vtg Antique Multi Color Mercury Glass Bead Christmas Feather Tree Garland a
Up for bid is a lovely 9' Mercury Glass Garland- made using 100% Antique/Vintage beads- This pattern is a classic- double round in Hot Pink. Silver, Green, Blue, Gold, Soft Pink, Red and Chartreuse Green. Some beads are double round, others are single rounds stacked two next to each other. Each single round is just a hair over 1/4" about 5/16"two together are about 5/8" Please see pictures and ask questions before bidding- no returns on this item. The beads I used for this garland are at least 50 to 75 years old- and as such exhibit wear. Here is a matching pair of Early 1900 Antique Mercury Glass Vases with matching Hand Painted Flower Design. The Vases stand 9 1/4" tall and are 3 1/2" across at the widest part. There is no chips or cracks. The mercury is very shiny. The painted flowers have wear. The bottom is as shown one has a plug of sorts the other has old tape which I will leave. The bits of red tags on the bottom look original so I will leave them. Hard to find in pairs and hard to find this size. It shows some of the small areas of discoloration typical to antique mercury glass, with a small amount of darkness in the bottom of the cup and loss of the mercury coating in the footed portion. Vintage Antique Swan Bird Flying Mercury Glass Clip Ornament German ?
For auction is a beautiful clip on vintage. Mercury glass swan flying with its spun glass wings spread. Swan also has a spun glass tail. The glass is in overall good condition. There is a chip on the pike of the tail(see photo 7) and there missing mercury on the pike and one small spot on the front of the neck(see picture 8) Clip works well. This was from a lot of really old antique Christmas ornaments in a tin that dated 1933. See the last pics(other ornaments not included, just using as a dating reference) I have dated them from the late 1800's through 1930, not sure exactly how old this piece is. Very rare, these sell for a lot whenever they come up, just the top part, which was an ornament of itself, not sure if the bottom part was added or if it was original.
