The Serving Dish is the only piece I have ever had marked Fraget and with a bit of reasearch I found this was a Polish(then part of Russia) Silver Company know for very fine quality workmanship and later became part of the famous WMF Company. So you know the quality is top notch. The Centerpiece Serving Dish consists of a very large Silver Plate frame or stand, modeled to look like Bamboo and featuring large Fruit and Leaf patterns as well. The Frame is quite large and very impressive measuring 10-1/2" tall by 13-1/4" across. There is also 3 lovely Cut Glass Dishes that fit in this frame and they measure 7" long by 4-3/4" wide and sit 1-1/4" deep. The Frame is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks or repairs and looks to have no wear to the Silver Plate down to the base metal. The Glass Dishes are also in good order, one has a chip and cracked area as seen in our photos, another just has one small chip and the 3rd is in excellent condition.

The glass bowl is one of the nicest that I have seen. It has fabulous Enamel Decorations, of leaves and floral detailing. It measures approx 12-1/2" diameter. It is in Excellent Condition- I would call it perfect albeit a most minor flat spot on the rim that appears to be a manufacturing nuance, not damage. I have looked at this with a magnifying glass and it is obvious after observing this first hand that it is not a chip but a flat spot somehow done during manufacture. Although extremely difficult to view, I have a pic of the area shown in my last pic. The frame is in Excellent Condition. Made of Quadruple Silver Plate by the Wilcox Silver-Plate Co. It stands approx 10-3/4" tall and approx 12-3/4" across. Both the decorated bowl and the Silver-Plate frame are gorgeous. The item comes direct from the collection of an area advance collector. Sold to me when settling her estate. The underside of the bowl bears a sticker that either she attached or was the sale price back in the day. A most unusual Victorian Caviar dish. Made from silver plate inset with a hefty thick opaline glass liner with a slightly concave top to pile the Caviar in the centre. This thick glass slab would be iced before serving. The base stands on four handsome original feet supporting the attractive pierced or reticulated holder that contains the glass. The domed lid is decoratively fluted and crowned with a fabulous figural finial in the form of a Moth or Butterfly. The lid is marked by the silversmith, Thomas Prime& Son. I believe it was made by Dugan Glass( at one time known as Diamond Glass Co. Northwood Glass- Indiana Glass) It has figural scenes that look like they could be Dutch countryside. There are sail boats. Windmills and farm scenes. The silver basket is about 8" high to the top of the handle. Theglass insert is about 4" high x 2 1/4" across at the botton and 4 3/8" across at the widest point on the top. It has two sides pinched to fit with the handle. This large brides basket is incredible and beautiful! PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES) The basket sits on four rounded feet that are decorated with scrolls. Flowers and tiny leaves. Above that is a 1/4 inch band of scrolling work going all the way around. The main band of the body has large campus leaves,some round leaves, large flowers, small flowers and vines. Then there is another 1/4 inch band of scrolling work. The band that holds the glass bowl has a deep stripe pattern all the way around. The C shape connectors that connect the handle to the basket has flowers inside and out and round balls that connect it to the basket ring.The handle is a twisted handle. This silver plate basket has so much going on. It was made by Meriden, and marked on the bottom with an applied piece of silver plate Meriden silver plate Co. No 7017 and a lion holding ... morea trophy in the middle, this mark dates it to(1869. There is no silver plate missing and no broken metal. This piece was sealed years ago to keep it from turning black, it can be removed by soaking in hot water over night then peal off. The glass fluted bowl was made by L.G.WRIGHT, And it is marked with a M with a line in a circle.L.G. Wright Glass Company of New Martinsville, West Virginia. Founder"Si" Wright contracted with Ohio and West Virginia glass factories to reproduce popular pressed glass patterns, like Rose& Snow, Baltimore Pear, and Three Face, and opalescent patterns, like Daisy& Fern and Swirl. I see that the glass has what I would call a stress mark inside the glass. I did not see any chips. I would still say overall it's in basically good condition. Beautiful Small Antique Cranberry Glass Pickle Castor with Silver Plate Mounts. This is a lovely. Small pickle castor or covered jam pot from the late 19 th or very early 20 th century. The cranberry glass is cased in clear glass. And measures 4 ¾” in diameter, and stands 3” to the silver plate rim. It has no damage, and shows age with several bubbles in the glass. The handle brings the total height of the piece to 6 ¾” There are no marks on the silver to identify the maker, but it is in excellent condition with minimal, if any, loss of plating. Rogers imprint looks like an upside down crown and at the end of the Rogers name there is a star. Those marks must indicate the time period of this piece. But I don't have the information to verify its era so I'll leave that up to the new buyer. If you want a shiny piece it's gonna need some elbow grease. It was a natural fit for the“Magic Lantern” technology. Basically, a photographic lantern slide is a positive print of a photograph on a glass slide. Immaculate condition. A neat fact this was owned by one owner(my Grandmother) Hard to photo all the detail since they are all white but they have some pretty cool detail. Some scalloped edges I believe they are called, and an indention for the glass cup.The logo on the bottom reads heat proof with an f inner a shield which stands for the federal glass company. So these could age from the 20s to 60s I believe. Also I can see a mark around the center which shows that they came from a mold which would be period correct. You know they just don't make stuff as quality oriented, durable, or made to last like back then. Its funny how you can make it home from Wal-Mart with your new glass set and open it and break one taking it out of its package but back then they could make a glass back in the twentys and it still be in this good of condition ... more90 plus years later. A Vinegar, an Oil and a Mustard Pot with spoon(bird finial) This a genuine Quality Antique set with hand cut Crystal Bottles- not pressed glass. The base of the set measures 6 inches in height and approximately 5 1/4 inches across and the silver plate is in very good condition with no silver wear through that I can see. The tallest piece is the oil which measures 4 3/4 inches in height with the stopper having no chips. There is one very small chip on the edge of the top of the bottle. The hinged Mustard has a small chip to the very bottom of the glass and the vinegar has a small chip up near the top- both are difficult to see. This auction is for an Antique Simpson Hall Miller 5 piece CRUET SET. The bottom of the cruet set is marked SHM NICKEL SILVER date letter A EP. I haven't been able to find this exact mark for Simpson Hall& Miller but I have found the mark SHM& Co. The base is on 3 ball feet and stands approximately 8 1/2 inches in height and 5 7/8 inches across. The Hand Cut Glass bottles are in very good condition. One of the stopper however is very chipped on the part that is inserted into the neck of the bottle. The design reminds me of a Scottish style. The bottles are very nice with 6 thumb prints circling the top of the bottles above the cross or checkered sections(one showing a noticeable bubble in the glass) The tallest bottles measure approximately 6 1/8 inches in height. SquareTrade © AP6.0 Antique Victorian Clear Fancy Cut Glass Plate[c. 1900s] Beautiful Victorian cut glass plate that dates from around 1900 as far as the owner knows. Has a gorgeous pattern that will look wonderful on your table for guests or holidays. I believe there was a center bowl at one time. Sorta like a chip and dip set. The center ring is certainly large enough that a small bowl could rest inside and you could use it for any number of things for holidays or guests. Regardless, it's still an amazing dish. the edges are slightly fluted and the etching is on the outside of the plate so it's smooth inside. There are three small chips on the bottom raised portion but you don't see them unless you turn the plate over. Old cut glass looks so beautiful on any table- mix and match different patterns for your own look and ... morestyle. It's getting harder to find old glass like this, so collect these pieces while they're still available. they truly are a treasure to enjoy and use. Beautiful Light Blue[Opaque] Milk Glass Plate Small- 7.25 Inch It does have a scratch. I do not try to hide it. It is on the rear of the plate. The tape is just so that you can see that you have seen every angle there is to see of the plate. The blue is a light blue.similar to the color that you are(hopefully) seeing on your screen. Antique Simeon & George H Rogers Co. Silver plate butter dish with glass 1920's
Up for auction is an antique silver plate butter dish marked Simeon L& George H Rogers company. Dis cover and base plate have a few nicks and scuffs. And needs a good polishing. Glass insert is intact. Did some research on the manufacture, and they made pieces from 1920 to 1929. The company later evolved to what is onieda. Dish measures 7 1/2 inches long, 4 inches wide, 2 3/4 inches tall. Ships to the lower 48 states only. Thanks for looking and please look out for more antique silver plate i will be posting.

This is an Antique Bristol Silver Plate Footed Butter Dish with a Roll Top Lid and Glass Dish. It is in good condition. There is a slight discoloration on top and a scratch on the front right of the lid. Both relatively minor for a piece this age. What a beautiful dish this would be for anyone to own.
