It has a lovely hand painted flower design and a silver metal with an almost black patina spout. Vintage Or Antique Opaque Pale Green Glass Syrup Pitcher w/Flowered Design
This beautiful and unusual opaque glass syrup pitcher looks like milk glass but is a very pale green. Not white. The color is hard to see in the photos but if you look at the one showing the inside you can tell. It has a swirl pattern with 9 flowers arranged around the base of“curlicues” The steel top has a spring hinge. The pitcher is 7 1/2” tall and about 4” across at the base. The glass is in very good condition. With no chips or cracks and only a tiny scratch or two, barely visible. The seam on the handle is a bit rough but it looks like it was made that way. The steel top is somewhat corroded; probably was chrome plated originally? The corrosion may be cleanable but I have not tried. The piece looks Victorian but I don’t know how old it is for sure. Antique Brilliant Era Cut Glass Pinwheel Tankard Pitcher 6 LB 10 Oz
Auction Wizard 2000 Listing Template- AW2KLOT#632 FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION A"Brilliant Era" 6 pound 10 ounce Cut Glass Pinwheel Tankard Pitcher starts at the top with a jagged sawtooth rim and rib cut spout. The main tankard has 2 opposing 16 point star pinwheels. An applied 14 notch handle with flattened thumb rest and a lot of finely polished cross hatching and geometric fan cuts that surround the pinwheels. The 24 point star base bottom completes this beautiful work of art. It has no residues. Dirt or cloudiness. I can neither see nor feel any significant chips or cracks. Let the photo's be your guide. With this many facets it is possible to miss some small little imperfection. I do see 2 or 3 tiny cutting errors crossing the pinwheel flairs, but they are clearly polished cuts and not chips. One side of the spout lip is higher ... morethan the other, and I see one teeny tiny flea bite in a lower front fan which looks like it was done during cutting and that's it folks. The glass is extremely clear and bright. I can find no signature mark. My suspicion would be it was made by Hoare, but that is just my best guess because it nearly matches reprints from Hoare's 1911 catalogue sheets. Antique Glass SYRUP PITCHER w/ Metal Flip-Up Lid - Fancy Handle - Flared Paneled
Nice antique syrup pitcher in very good condition. The glass has flared paneled sides. A few old straw marks, and a smooth dimple on the bottom. The lid is some sort of metal. pewter color on the outside and a bit shiner on the inside. No hallmarks. The interior of the lid shows some wear(see photo) The outside is a nice"pewter" look. Around the outside of the lid toward the bottom, there's a slight handsome beaded trim. It's almost 5" tall and the bottom is 3-3/8" in diameter. There's a hinge on the lid so that the top flips up and down. I have not cleaned it. there's a slight bit of white-ish residue on the inside toward the bottom. nothing serious and can possibly be removed with a brush and cleaner. Rare Antique EAPG Frosted GOAT HEAD Pattern Flint Glass Pitcher Jug Pewter Lid
This auction is for a very rare old antique Flint Glass large 12+" covered Pitcher or Jug with Pewter lid in the Frosted Goat Head pattern. It has a large applied handle. Fancy decorative facet cut crystal insert on lid, and figural pewter thumb handle of a Man Drinking Beer. Ground and polished pontil on base and age appropriate wear. I believe this was used for Beer or Ale. I have a matching Goat's Head Goblet listed as well, so check out my other items. This may be Bohemian or German possibly by the S. Reich Co. of Moravia, but not sure. I cannot find other pieces in the pattern, although it is very similar to the well known Mephistopheles pattern. It is extremely heavy weighing over 5.5 lbs unpacked and will be securely packaged and double boxed. When flicked it has a good tinny tone, but the ring doesn't last, probably due ... moreto the attached lid. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Usual factory straw marks and small bubbles. One tiny insignificant nick on top rim at back, noted for accuracy. No other issues that I can find. Handle is securely attached with no damage and even the facets on the lid are perfect! Very clean and clear inside! It measures 12 3/16" tall to top of the Man's hat, 10 1/2" tall to top of crystal at lid, 9 5/8" tall to rim, about 6 1/2" handle to spout, 3 1/2" across rim, 5" at widest part of body, and 3 7/8" at the base. We offer a most beautiful Victorian Vaseline enameled Ewer Pitcher. This Antique Art Glass Ewer has a great cased glass satin look. When put under a black light. This pitcher glows with its vaseline chemistry. The inside is a beautiful White MOP Satin Glass. The outside also has tiny coralene beads making up a babies breath type of flowered decoration. The main decoration is the enameled butterfly on the centerof the base. The cased glass edge is clear and has a wonderful double ruffle that makes the spout stand out pointing upward. I got it in a boxful of antique items at an estate auction. Antique Crystal Glass Green Handle Pitcher Decanter& Crystal Stopper. 5& 3/4" tall, base is 2 inches round that it sits up on, measured around the fattest part of this bottle is 11& 1/4 inches round. Lip of pitcher has no chips or cracks! Holding it up close I can see a tiny shallow chip on inside rim won't cut you. Inside pitcher the stopper has left marks inside on the glass from being used over the decades. Handle is solid and very sturdy with no chips& no cracks. Now for the interesting part this has some big airbubbles in the glass and they are unpopped and give it a very unique look. I show them in my photos. I thought it was handblowned ... moreat first but this does have seams on it. Really beautiful looking in real life. 6 sided Stopper that sits into pitcher is heavy also is about 2& 3/4 inches tall/long and measured around the top of is about 3& 1/3 round. Green Stopper has wear to the frost at the bottom. Shallow chips fleabites to flat edge at bottom of this stopper plug. Minor wear to the top side I show a picture of the worse hardly noticeable from just looking at it on a table. No cracks, no hairlines has a green glow look to it even in normal houselight. I use a lot of pictures if/and descriptions please remember that. Please note that most of our items are vintage. The cut glass portion itself is 3-1/8" wide. The cut design is almost pineapple like. It is very detailed with a tree trunk handle with limbs extending around the body. There is also limb or vine around the top rim. It has a curved paneled base. There is no damage at all to the top rim, handle or body. The base has 2 chips underneath and 3 flakes on the side of the base. None of these stand out, and they were difficult to photograph, but I did my best to show them. This antique EAPG creamer/pitcher was manufactured by the Indiana Tumbler and Goblet Company in Greentown. IN. It measures approx. 5-1/4" tall by 5" wide from the handle to the spout by 10" diameter without the handle. The"Overall Lattice Pattern Glass" creamer/pitcher is in mint condition with NO chips, cracks, or repairs, I don't count the encased bubbles as a flaw because they were common in this type of glass. ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER LIP CUT GLASS PITCHER 10 INCHES TALL CIRCA 1896-1904
Up for bidding is this antique cut glass/crystal sterling silver lipped pitcher. The sterling silver was applied by Stone Sterling Silver Co. New York. New York circa 1896-1904(Kovels' American Silver Marks pg.357) SSS mark with arrow. I'm unsure of the pattern of the cut glass. It measures approx. 10 inches tall, and has a base diameter of 4 5/8 inches. The opening measures approx. 3 1/2 inches by 4 1/8 inches. There looks like a crack above the handle. I can feel it on the outside, but not the inside. So it may be a crack(you decide) There is some wear/scratches on the base bottom(ref. pictures) There is also some tiny cloudiness spots on the inside(ref. pictures) The sterling silver has minor scratches, a small dent, and some tarnish(ref. pictures) This pitcher will make a great addition to someone's collection.
