Antique Victorian Blue Opalescent Optic Swirl Glass Syrup Pitcher A wonderful glass pitcher featuring a blue opalescent swirl pattern with the original metal spring top lid. The clear blue glass handle is applied. The top/ lid is engraved with the latter 1880's Pat. date(see pic. 6) I don't believe the lid was made to come off, I have not removed it or really even tried being it fits so securely& tight. Measures about 6.5" to the top of the lid. In very nice condition showing the normal age wear. No chips, cracks or repairs. Noticed a couple of straw lines(felt the grooves) under the applied handle, is common in the older glass. See last 2 pictures) The interior lid has a few rusty spots. am showing many pictures to help describe it best. A wonderful addition to your fine collection.

July 15, 84" The pitcher is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks with the exception of the perimeter of the top where the lid fits on. I believe the chipping there was done in an effort to place the lid before glueing. The chips are consistently the same.The lid is removable with traces of old glue, probably original. Here is a beautiful and antique glass pitcher for your consideration. It is not signed that I am aware of. The top half is thick and crystal clear glass. The bottom half is frosted. And etched or carved. the design is raised and dimensional, Bavarian in style, including motifs of a cabin in the wooded mountains, a bison, and a stag. and the handle has a lion's face at its base. The inside of the pitcher is clear, smooth glass. the design is applied to its exterior. The pitcher stands just under 8" tall and the diameter at its base is just over 5" There are a couple of minor condition issues: there is a flaw on the upper rim of the clear glass as shown in the last two pictures. I can feel just a tiny pinpoint of a nick on the outside of the rim here, but visually it's discolored by a thin half inch line in this area. Also, ... moreon the top rim of the base there are a couple of tiny nicks that I can feel when I run my fingers around. but they are very hard to notice visually. The lid opens and closes well. There is a small indention in the upper neck of the pitcher. The indention is glazed over which leads me to believe this was done during the manufacturing process. There are no cracks or bubbles where the handle was applied. I have not cleaned the pitcher. Northwood Panelled Holly- features raised berries and holly leaves on side panels with a beautiful starburst style design toward bottom when looking into pitcher. Clear glass. Stands 8 1/8" tall to tallest section near pour spout. Measures 7 1/2" across from front of pour spout to back edge of handle. I see some air bubbles in glass and a few very light surface scratches and lines inside glass that show up when inspecting in bright light. There is an imperfection inside the glass- seen under one of the scallops along footed base(this is not a chip) When I tried to look up this pattern. I only found carnival and opalescent pitchers. I don't know if this pitcher was made for staining or finishing ... morelater, but there are no traces of color to be found. Please note: From large local collection of glassware. Purchased at estate auction. I am not an expert on antique and vintage glass. I am able to identify some patterns based on tiny stickers the previous owner had affixed to bottoms of pieces. This is a very nice pitcher. It was made in 1906 by US Glass Co. The pattern name is Caledonia. Which is cannonball and pinwheels. It is 6.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches straight across not counting the spout or handle. It has a purple hue to it. That is because of its age and light. There is no clouding. It is 107 years old. There are no chips, cracks or flea bites. It is in excellent condition.This would be a nice piece to add to your collection.

A nice size for juice or milk. There are no chips and cracks. But you can notice small straw& mold lines and a few tiny bubbles in the glass, which is typical for old pattern glass. 2 part mold, clear in color. Interesting shape. Has some tiny little nicks on the ends of some of the hobnails and two of the hobnails on the bottom of the base have significant chips and one of those hobnails is almost missing. This beautiful Tiffany& Co. pitcher came from my grandmother's Victorian brownstone. She said it was a wedding present. Which would date it to around the turn of the century. I remember it was always prominently displayed on the sideboard in her dining room. I don't remember how it got damaged, but the 24 grandchildren running around her house may have had something to do with it. Despite the damage, it is still a very lovely example of Victorian brilliant cut glass with a graceful shape and luxe sterling silver trim- and it is Tiffany. The pitcher measures 10" high. 4 3/8" around the base and weighs 3.4 pounds. It has a crack near the the base running about halfway around the diameter of the pitcher. It has a large teardrop shaped chip about 1/2" along the base extending approximately 2" up into the design. ... moreIt DOES NOT hold liquid. Antique 1904 World's Fair Creamer Pitcher Ruby Flash Glass St. Louis "Monica"
This offering is for an antique 1904 St. Louis World's Fair ruby flash glass creamer or pitcher. My understanding is that it is made by U.S. Glass Company and that the pattern is called Lacy Medallion. It stands 3 5/8" tall and measures 4 1/2" handle to spout. It has a distinctive and graceful shape. Sitting on an ornate 3-footed base and having a gently rounded beaded top rim. Hand-etched on one side is World's Fair 1904 and on the opposite side is the name Monica. It's in excellent shape, with no chips or cracks. I do find one scratch on the outside of the bowl's base. It can be seen in the bottom in photo 3. Although it is seen on the inside looking down, it does not go through to the inside as to feel. Here for your consideration we have a very special. Free Hand Blown Pitcher believed to be from the 1860-1870 period. It has NO chips, cracks or repairs to declare to you. It has a pontil scar on the base and many, many pinpoint bubbles, maybe hundreds of them visible. It also has a few larger bubbles and a potstone rough area inside. It has a hand applied handle and a hand pinched pouring lip that is slightly out of round. It has a twist swirl pattern in the top portion of the glass. You can see that it affects the light going through the glass in one of the pictures. It measures approx. 3" tall by 2 1/2" wide including handle. This Victoria-style footed pitcher is such a pretty piece! Not sure of the age. But I believe it is at least mid-century, if not older- it's been in our family for at least 3 generations. The silver metal is like a frame holding the formed ruby red glass pitcher. The glass looks hand blown. And there are some small chips around the outside of the lip(see photos) and it is somehow attached to the frame. It measures almost 5" tall at the front of the lip and 5.25" at the tallest point of the handle. It is 3" from side to side and about 5.5" from the very front to the very back.
