It measures approximately 12" at its tallest point, by 7 3/4" from handle to spout, and will hold 72 ounces(or 9 cups) I am not sure of its maker. possibly flint glass, but don't know how to identify positively. It is in very good condition. And has no chips, cracks, or staining. Just a few minor scratches, a couple of very tiny air bubbles encased within the glass, and a couple of thin lines on the outer surface which were simply done in the making(don't really know what this is properly called, but definitely not cracked! Antique. Large Glass Pitcher Description and Item Information Up for sale is this pretty Victorian art glass pitcher. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This pitcher is made from clear glass which has floral enameling and worn gold painted decoration. The applied handle is ribbed. This piece has a square mouth. It is blown glass. So there is a rough pontil area beneath. The pitcher measures approximately 9 1/8 inches tall. It is about 6 1/4 inches wide by 7 7/8 inches long. Unpacked, it weighs about 2 pounds 7.5 ounces. This would be a lovely addition to collection of antique art glass. Identification This piece is unmarked. And I do not know who made it. It is antique. Condition The pitcher has no cracks. This is a matching set that includes a pitcher with a lid.4 tumblers and 4 stemmed glasses. The set is a very old etched clear glass set. Tapered milk glass bowl/basin and pitcher set in Near Mint overall condition. I believe the pitcher to be from the 1930s; it is very heavy and weighs over 10 lbs. It measures 8" tall and has a 6" diameter. There are no chips or breaks however there is a hairline crack that goes through the center of the base; this is minor and does not affect the functionality or display quality of the piece; other than that it is in Near Mint condition! The bowl/basin is quite a stunning piece of art indeed; I believe this piece to be a bit earlier; perhaps from the 1920s. It is in Mint condition with no chips. Breaks or cracks to speak of; superb detailing and texturing as well as several ... moretapered lipped edges; absolutely breathtaking. The bowl measures 4 1/4" tall and has a 10" diameter from edge to edge and a 6" interior bowl diameter. Both pieces appear to be unsigned and I am unsure as to who the maker is. Overall. Antique Glass Pitcher with Detachable Silver Handle & Lid
This is an antique pitcher; handed down from my great-aunt. Not sure where she acquired, but it was not new at that time. So honestly I have no idea how old it is. I have been told that it may have been used for coffee because of the metal insert(shown in photo) These days if I were using I would serve juice or sangria for brunch, etc. However, I have never used the item in the 10 years I've had it. As for the silver metal, while it does tarnish and respond to polishing like sterling does, I don't believe it is because I've been unable to find any markings on it. The glass features a diamond pattern over most of it going up to a smooth surface near the top. This large and impressive jug or pitcher is a fabulous and most unusual spherical shape. Beautifully cut to resemble a coopered wooden construction. The collar, handle and lid are made from English silver plate, marked EPNS on the underside of the lid for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver. It features a fan and diamond pattern as well as gold flashing in the large diamond. The metal lid is marked: PAT APR 28 81– MAR28 82. Pitcher stands approximately 7” tall. There are several condition issues: glass has light clouding. And I counted at least 5 flea-bite chips; metal lid is dented and crimped in one place; gold flashing is worn in places. This is a unique and rare 1880's antique glass pitcher. It is very detailed in design. Please see all the photo's for best views. This pitcher belonged to my great grandmother and is at least from the 1880's-1890's.My grandmother came from Germany but I can not find a markers mark so I am unsure of it's origin. It has been taken very good care of has only been displayed for every since I can remember. It is accented with gold and does show ware marks on both the handle and the feet. But is still a rare beautiful piece to display. This pitcher is extremely heavy. Would make a great gift for that special collector.

Offered for auction is a GREEN GLASS PITCHER within a SILVER PLATE FRAME. The glass insert has a threaded/ringed design. Design on the Silver Plate shows Flowers with Stems. The pitcher& frame measures 5 1/2" Tall to the top of the pitcher and 5 7/8" Tall to the top of the handle. The pitcher is 4" Tall. 2 7/8" across the top and 3 1/4" to the end of the spout. Inside on one pitcher foot is a plate embossed TRIPLE PLATE/ B. BRO'S. This small pitcher is a great example from the Victorian period. The pitcher is in Very Good condition- No issues. Antique Green Gold Bohemian Glass Nouveau Deco Enameled Pitcher, Drinking Glass
This is a green Bohemian glass pitcher and one matching drinking glass. Both are decorated with gold. Orange, white and baby blue and pink enamel decorations in the form of flowers and some abstract designs. The pitcher is 9.5 inches tall, is about 6 inches across the mouth and 7 inches from the outside of the handle to the tip of the spout. It is 5 inches across the bottom and has an unpolished pontil, known as an open pontil, which makes me think it has a bit more age than some of the pieces I've seen. The glass is about 4 inches high, about 3 inches across the mouth and a little over 2 inches across the bottom. Both pieces are structurally perfect with no breakage, cracking, or dinging of any kind. The decorations on both have worn from use, but still look beautiful. The gold band around the pitcher has a lot of wear to it in the front ... moreand on the sides and it is the same with the gold half loops in the decorations. The white enamel has been lost a bit, but is mostly still there. the blue and orange enamel are in very good condition. On the glass, the gold band with a pink border is in much better shape, as are all the decorations. There is a bit of wear but it is mostly still in place. Very minor silver loss at the ends of one or two of the vines, a few scratches to the bottom from being on the shelf. otherwise near mint condition.
