The alcohol and hand lotion jars are very cloudy. A bit of gold is missing from the necks if the jars, and most of the gold rim on two of them. Victorian Bristol art glass is appreciated for its delicately hand-painted botanical motifs; the more finely executed the decoration. The more desirable the piece. The Victorian Parlor served as more than a gathering place for a family and guests, it offered the master and mistress of the house an opportunity to showcase their social status and good taste. This is an antique crystal and silver plate pickle serving set. Includes 2 glass jars with ground stoppers inside a silverplate tray which is marked on bottom: E.P.N.S. 6385(etched) Made in England. The glass jars are 2 slightly different diameters: 2 3/4" and 2 7/8" and have different rims. It's hard to see the vertical facets on sides of jars, the round glass tops also are faceted. There is a chip in the rim of the larger jar, see photo. Both jars are 6 1/4" tall. The silver is in great shape, some tarnish. The set is missing the pickle forks, the handle has 2 hooks for them. Two Antique Glass Apothecary Jars in Three Colors w/Ground Glass Stoppers
Two(2) antique apothecary glass jars with ground glass stoppers. The larger one measures around six inches tall and has a raised-glass shield that is painted in three colors(gold trim. White ground, black letters) for"TINCT IODINI COM. The smaller bottle measures around four inches tall and has a shield painted in the same three colors for OL. MAJORAN. Both bottles show some normal wear. The raised glass shield on the taller bottle has some minor superficial cracks and dings. I could not remove the ground glass stopper from the smaller jar although a little oil should do it. No matter, it looks good. In fact, they both look good. Vintage Antique Powder Jars Swirl Glass with Cameo Lids
Here are 2 vintage antique powder jars with Cameo portrait lids. Both jars are round with a swirl glass pattern. The large jar measures approx. 2 1/2” tall with the lid on. By approx. 4 1/2” wide. The lid of this jar is gold or brass plated metal with a cameo picture on top. We do not know what the cameo is made of, possibly celluloid? The cameo top is in good shape, there are a couple small very light surface scratches. There is a very small amount of wear to the plating along the edge of the lid, and the underneath side has a few wear spots to the coating. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or scratches to the glass. The bottom of the jar has a couple very small light scratch marks. The smaller jar measures approx. 2” tall with the lid, by approx. 3” wide. The lid of this jar is gold or brass plated metal with a cameo picture on top. Again, ... morewe do not know what the cameo is made of. It is in good shape, like the larger one it has a couple very small light surface scratches. The lid to this small jar has more wear spots to the plating along the edge of the lid, and on the underneath side the coating is flaking. There are no chips, cracks, stains, or scratches to the jar. They sit in a wonderful metal tray with a handle and 4 feet. The metal has much patina. Wonderful: The jars are in excellent condition. The etched labels very nice, just a little bit of faint dark lines where they rubbed against the tray. Minor. I have never seen anything like this. Set of 7 Antique Vintage 5" Tall Hand Painted Glass Apothecary Jars Bottles
These antique or vintage glass apothecary jars are 5" tall and beautifully hand painted on three sides and the stoppers with a raised floral design. There is a detailed gilded design around the neck of each jar. As well as a gold vase design on the front, and gold around the rim of the stoppers. The descriptions of the contents, Bicarb Soda, Alcohol, Boric Acid, Eye Wash, Ponds Extract,Hand Lotion, and Mouthwash, are printed in gold also. The jars have no cracks or chips. The alcohol and hand lotion jars are very cloudy. A bit of gold is missing from the necks if the jars, and most of the gold rim on two of them. One of the stoppers is chipped and two have rough spots. The mouthwash stopper fits so tightly I didn't attempt to remove it for fear of causing damage. This is a charming antique pair of Victorian glass dresser or vanity jars with celluloid lids. While the lid pattern is matching. They are slightly different sizes and the glass is different. The larger size has a tulip pattern in the glass and its diameter is 4 inches. The smaller size is 2.75 inches. They are in good condition for their age, but the celluloid is cracked and stained. Please check photos carefully for condition as they aren't perfect.

The 1 quart jar is a straight sided/square shouldered jar with an original white glass lined wide mouth jar lid. The jar is in excellent shape with only very minor scuffing or wear. It clearly reads Ball SPECIAL MADE IN U.S.A. The 2 quart jar holds 8 cups of liquid. It is only marked along the very bottom edge with“Duraglas” in script followed by“C-2980” This jar takes a regular screw-on lid. But none is included. Five small glass jars straight from Grandma's attic. I am not sure if they once contained sachet or something else. They are 1-1/2 inches tall and 2-1/2 inches wide. The glass containers are in great condition(no chips or cracks) with seams on each side. The covers show very minimal vintage wear on the outside The lid with the paper liner has two very small dents along its outer edge. Two lids have a few rust spots on the inside. LOT OF Vintage 6 WHITE MILK glass OLD Bottles/JARS Beautiful Antique
Lot of 6 vintage white milk glass jars All are unmarked. The only marking I've seen is a patent number on one of them. 3 are shaped like the Pond's jars I've dug up. They are around 2.5" tall. Other 3 are beautiful shorter jars with pretty detail. They are 1" tall. Smallest diameter is 1" and largest is 2" All are in great shape. I just dug these up yesterday on my today.
