Three antique empty glass pharmacy jars/ bottles- amber colored. There are no chips and no cracks except for one stopper that has several very small nicks around the upper edge(not the handle) There are some scratches and some bubbles in the glass. The stopper is stuck on one of the bottles(nitric acid) and could probably be removed if the top was soaked. The labels all show wear. They have tears and are soiled. One has pencil marks. All the labels are Merck- Acid Sulphuric(bottom marked 4) Acid Nitric(bottom marked 2) and Acid Formic(bottom marked 14) The approximate height of each bottle is 7 13/16" 7 1/2" and 6 7/8" including stoppers) Please view all 11 pictures.

This group of beautiful, peacock-blue, pontil-blown bottles, are part of a collection I purchased in France a decade ago. They are over a century old and have survived two world wars. A true find for the avid collector or packer/crafter who wants a totally unique look- CLEAR jars Hazel Atlas"EZ seal" jars- BRAND NEW IN SEALED FACTORY CARTON. we found a few cartons of these collectible jars in an old glass storage warehouse unmoved since the mid 60's- totally environmentally sealed warehouse- so the jars are in great shape- the bails may show some corrosion consistant with metal that is over 50 years old. but the ones I opened to photograph were remarkably in great shape. though I am selling these with"no gaskets" there were a dozen in a sealed jar inside along with instruction- they were still usuable for storage- however I would recommend a new gasket for canning purposes. a FIDO gasket fits this jar- though it is larger on the outside then the original gaskets. Any jar collector- or antique collector ... morewill realize what a find this was! Hazel Atlas jars were American made canning and freezer storage jars of unsurpassed strength and quality- these jars were made prior to 1964 when the company was liquidated. Some comments on collectible jars from Hazel Atlas: 1 Look for jars embossed with the Atlas name in raised lettering. Take note of any dates or other information on the jars. The Hazel-Atlas company was in business from 1902 to 1964. During 1940s and'50s. The company was one of the largest producers of canning jars along with competitors Ball and Kerr. 2 Check the style and color. Only a few types of Atlas jars are collectible: the Atlas E-Z Seal. Up for sale is a very interesting jar.It is Hero glass works jar.9" tall and 4 3/8" in dia.Not quite a gallon more like 7 cups.It is almost clear with just a hint of blue.On the front is{The cross at the top. MASON'S wrote in a curve and IMPROVED at the bottom.On the bottom is{G7 PAT NOV 26 with 20 in the center} The top is a open zinc with a glass insert.It has the cross on it.The crosses have a faint H,F,J and Co. in them.The top is ground on the lip.The bottom shows lots of wear.No chips or cracks except for the top insert.It has a surface hairline the size of a half of a dimeIt is at about 5:oo.There is no loss of glass but you can tell it is there.Neat old jar must be rare I have not seen another.This jar is hard to take pic's of so please ask question.

SET of 3 VINTAGE APOTHECARY or PHARMACY Style JARS with CORK LIDS The 3 jars measures approximately 9" tall with a 4" diameter. They are made of clear glass with a etched floral design. The etching is only on the front of the jars. Picture number 3 is the backside of the jars. They are marked with a flower and 1000 o n the bottom to show the size of the jar. They are a little dusty or dirty inside. I have not tried cleaning. I bought these from an estate sale approximately 10+ years ago. So I do not know if they are original French jars or reproductions. I am anticipating a move soon so I am selling things that I haven't used in a while. The bottles have cork lids which are slightly stained. GREEN KEROSENE JAR: It is rare to find a Green Kerosene Jar from this era. And this green jar has EXCEPTIONAL, DEEP, Green color. There is text on the front of the jar with a trademark; the words"The Cleveland Metal Products Co. the dates' Nov 20-1917- Apr. 8-1919; and more. Inside of jar is slightly dirty which you can see in pic#7. This is a HEAVY jar! CLEAR KEROSENE JAR: There are NO cracks and NO chips in this clear jar. The spring"spigot" on top works and easily unscrews from the neck of the jar. The bail and the metal band that encircles the jar have some rust on them along with some black paint. There are no markings on this jar. There is some of what I think is dried kerosene sediment in the upper portion of the jar which you should be able to see in pic# 8. It looks like some metal"melted" and left a small metal deposit on the top of the jar in the same area of the dried sediment. You may be able to see this in a closeup of pic# 11. This is a HEAVY jar! This auction is for a Lot of 15 Antique Glass Medicine and Household Bottles that were used around 1850 to right before 1920. With all having some pretty bubbles. Making a great display or be used for crafts. They measure from 5 1/2" to 7 1/4" tall and have have very thick and wavy glass. They have been soaked over night and gently washed to check for cracks. And will come cleaner with soapy water and some small brushes. These bottles were dug. reclaimed! so may contain some minor scratches, chips, dirt, and cloudiness, which can be treated with baby oil, thin coat, inside and out. This process moisturizes the bottles and leaves a nice shine. Any leftover rust can be removed with very cheap toilet bowl cleaner. I am trying a new packaging process using recycled paper. Antique Hand Painted Slovak Decorative glass jars
A beautiful pair of Hand painted Slovak decorative jars. They do have chips and minor cracks and one is missing a piece from the neck(see pictures) However. Both pieces are still slid and beautiful pieces of art. Each one is hand painted all the way around in panels of flowers. It appears that the panels are lined in lead with yellow decorations, and the flowers are a mixture of pink, yellow, green, and lead. Both jars have numbers etched in the bottom and a very faded old makers stamp etched in the glass bottoms that reads. SLOVAK. One is etched in lead and reads# 2. and the other# 50. I have no idea what these jars were used for. But know they are from before 1940. The corks no longer exist and there are no other markings to identify them. When you buy this piece. One jar has 3 minor chips on edge of lid and top lip of jar has 3 inch chip that was broken and glued back in a long time ago. Other jar has crack that spans half-way around bottom, but does not go all the way through. The glass is so thick that it does not cause an issue. None of the flaws affect functionality of jars. Rare Outstanding Set of Antique Victorian Hand Painted Glass Apothecary Jars
Outstanding and complete.antique. Victorian period, set of five beautiful hand painted glass apothecary jars. It is very rare to find a set, such as this one, that is still together and in such wonderful condition for the age. All of the jars retain their original ground glass lids and are full of terrific old glass imperfections such as nice controlled air bubbles. In superb condition, but, not without apology. As one would expect, there is some very minor edge roughness, from use, on the inner area edge of a few of the ground glass lids. The middle jar has some chipping in this area as noted in photo#8. This is the part of the lids which fit inside of the jar. None of this can be seen with the lids in place. There is very minor loss to paint and gold gilt, most notably on the bottom edge of the two smaller jars as shown in photo#7. A truly ... morespectacular set of old apothecary jars! Measures appx. 4.5" high and has a push down lid that fits properly. The smaller has a twist cap that turns down nicely into the sterling rim of the glass bottom and measures approx. 3.5" Both have tiny beading detail in the sterling cap. This auction is for a Lot of 3 Pounds of Antique Glass from Medicine and Household Bottles that were used around 1850 to right before 1920. These are many sizes with a few having some pretty bubbles. Making it great to be used for crafts. They have have very thick and wavy glass. They have been soaked over night and gently washed to check for cracks. And will come cleaner with soapy water and some small brushes. These bottles were dug. reclaimed! so may contain some minor scratches, chips, dirt, and cloudiness, which can be treated with baby oil, thin coat, inside and out. This process moisturizes the bottles and leaves a nice shine. Any leftover rust can be removed with very cheap toilet bowl cleaner. I am trying a new packaging process using recycled paper. Etc. but promise to ship safely. Trying to avoid using plastic bubble wrap and trying ... moreto keep shipping charges lower, depending on the sizes of bottles. 4 Vintage/Antique? Pharmacy Apothecary Bottles Glass Jars & Tops 100 & 50 GUC
This is a very nice lot of 4 Glass Apothecary Jars with all glass stoppers. These are definately older glass(no seems. Tiny bubbles) but I can't say for sure they are antique. unfortunately the labels have been removed and there is a little bit of residue where they used to be. There are three 100 size and one 50 size. One of the 100s is not marked on the bottom the other two are makred 100 and I assume a makers mark(that I can't recognize) The smaller is also marked 50 with similar or same makers mark. These are in very good to excellent condition, one of the stoppers has a chip on the inside bottom of the stopper. The unmarked bottle's stopper is not a tight fit either. 3 Antique brass snuff bottles, jars or perfume box one with glass vile insert
3 Antique Snuff Bottles or Perfume Holders. The first bottle pictured is approximately 2” long with a screw on cap. It has a glass vile inside which comes out. The glass vile also has a screw in stopper. The second bottle pictured is approximately 2 ½” long with a screw on cap. It has a screw in stopper which seals the contents inside. The third bottle pictured is approximately 2 ½” long it has a screw in wand or dipstick. They are all heavy solid brass. All screw parts work as they should. They all have some patina and could use a good cleaning if you so choose. None of them have any makers marks of any kind which I could see.
