Found at an estate auction: here are two antique canning jars from KERR GLASS(Portland Oregon) Both with the original caps and spring clips in place. The front of the jar has"Economy" molded onto the surface, the bottom reads: KERR GLASS MFG. CO. PORTLAND, ORE. 3 PAT. JUNE 9& 23 1903. Both jars in very good condition, no cracks or chips, see photos for best description. THIS FROM THE INTERNET: Cap& Spring Clip closure- E conomy Jars The Economy and Kerr Economy fruit jars were quite popular and widely distributed throughout the U.S. during the first third of the 20th century. Though like with most popular fruit jars, they continued in use until either broken or replacement closures became unavailable. These jars(or fragments) are a common find on post-1900 historic sites. The Economy version of this closure was the most ... morepopular of the cap& spring clip type closures which did date back to the mid-19th century. Click F. J. Antique Silver Plated Castor Condiment Set w/5 Glass-Etched Cruets/Jars
Antique Castor Set 5 Etched Condiment Bottles/Jars In Stand I don't know much about this piece. But here's what I DO know: This set was used by my grandmother. So it's at least 75- 80 years old. There are 5 cruets/jars that sit in a revolving lazy susan that sits on a pedestal that looks to be pewter. All glassware is etched with the same floral type embellisment. The salt& pepper shakers and the condiment jar have silver plated tops. But the silver plate is considerably worn. The condiment jar has a hinged lid and a silver spoon that reads"Rogers& Bro" see pictures) Two cruets have glass stoppers and each stopper is slightly different from the other. One stopper has a tiny piece chipped off of the very top. The only other flaw is, other than the silver plate being worn, there are a couple of minor dents in the ... morepewter stand. It's a neat piece and once polished, looks very nice on the table. I'm NOT a collector& not an expert on this piece- I have recently inherited several pieces and simply need to free up space in my home. Antique Pair French Pharmaceutical Apothecary Hand Blown Glass Jars~Tin Lids
Rare Antique pair of hand-blown green glass pharmacy jars: Mousse De Mer and Acide Citrique These have enamel labels adhered from the outside. With gold borders and black graphics over a white background. Within the glass, there are large air bubbles, with both having smooth ground pontils on their bases. Both are in very good condition commensurate with the age and function: Smaller jar has an in the making chip on the ground pontil( minor and only mentioned for accuracy) The back of bottles reads Pairs L.F.C. Depose Typical wear and dings to the painted tin lids is evident. There are scratches on the glass. Heights are 8 1/4- 8" and Diameter 3" and 3 3/4"

Antique Hoosier Glass Spice Bottles Jars ~ 2 Vintage Coffee Canisters & 1 Tea
5 Antique HOOSIER GLASS SPICE JARS& 2 Vintage Coffee Canisters& 1 Tea Canister All with original tin lids. Some minor dents on edges of some lids. Plainer coffee canister has some denting on top of cover. But not that noticeable. All in Very Good Condition. Some small chips on inner rim of plainer coffee canister(the one without lower rim) and a few small manufacturing flaws/bubbles/lite scratches. Some irregular manufacturing lines/ridges in glass. There is some tape residue that can be cleaned off near top of jars where the covers were taped on with scotch tape. There are two large coffee cans approx. 7" tall X 4" across. One has a ridge extending out about 1/4" from jar and 1/3 of the way up the canister. The two canisters are embossed COFFEE. The plainer one has an"S" mark on bottom. The TEA jar is embossed ... moreand measures 5" tall X 2 3/4" across top and has no chips or roughness on top rim. There are a few very tiny manufacturing flaws/bubbles. There is a slight depression in the jar on each side below and along side of TEA(for gripping?This jar is in very good condition and has no mark on bottom. There are two small. Ribbed plain spice jars that measures approx. 4 1/4" tall X 2" across top. These are in very good condition. One has some minor chipping vs. rough edge inside inner top rim. One has a bubble in bottom and another smaller bubble that looks like it popped on outside near bottom. These covers have only a couple of very minor dings. A few minor dings on these lids along edge. There is no mark on the bottoms. There are three medium size ribbed spice jars that measure approx. 4 7/8" tall(without lid) X 2 1'4" across top. One is marked ALLSPICE and has some roughness/tiny chips all along inner rim. The other spice jars are blank and have no roughness or chipping on rim. The bottom of one spice jar has no mark and the others two are marked. 2116-1 with a"J" enclosed in a triangle and the other 2116-3 with a"J" enclosed

These are 2 old antique glass Crescent Coffee jars that are in excellent condition. These have the original labels that are still in pretty nice condition as well. The one label is a light faded blue than the other. These jars have no flea bites. Chips or cracks or stains or any other kind of damage. The lids are nice too with no rust or dents or dings. These were kept stored in a basement in an old kitchen queen and haven't been handled for years. These were full of old sugar that was very old and took a while to get out so I am not sure how many years these were stored. The Crescent Coffee company is from the 1930's. 2 Antique Vintage Glass Apothecary Flower pattern Jars 16" & 13" tall , pickles?
These are survivors of super storm sandy. They are the only things to make it out of 8 feet of saltwater. O.K. That being said I will describe them as best I can. The tallest one is 15 1/2 inches tall at the widest point about 6 inches across. The top opening 4 1/4" across the bottom is about 5 1/4 inches across. As can be seen the flowers cover front half of jar. The tall jar is loaded with air bubbles from the process of making. The lip where the cap goes is very ruff not sure if it was made that way or someone tried to cut the top. Now for the smaller one it is 13 inches tall at the widest point it is about 6 inches across. Antique Glass Dresser Jars/ Powder or Cream Jars
These Two Jars have the same lid designs the Larger one is 3 1/2 inches across and about 1 1/2 deep. It has a cut glass design in it and the lid just lays on top does not screw on very pretty gold lid with design on it. the legs on this jar have a pretty flower design down them. The smaller one is 2 inches and about 1/4 across and 1 1/4 deep. It is a clear jar with a screw on lid it also has a diamond shape on bottom and a number"3" Enjoy looking at these!

2 Antique Art Nouveau Gorham Sterling Silver Vanity Powder Rouge Jars Cut Glass
Two antique Gorham Sterling silver cut glass vanity jars with matching lids decorated with repousse poppies in an Art Nouveau style. The powder jar is 3 5/8" tall and 4" in diameter. The lid has an intricate intertwined monogram. It's signed with the Lion Anchor G mark and numbered D993. The rouge pot is not monogrammed. It is 1 5/8" tall and 1 5/8" in diameter. It has the same mark and is numbered D1561. There are some flakes along the upper rim that don't show with the lid on. The lids weigh 65 grams on my postage scale. Great Lot of 5 Antique/Vintage Mason Jars~ Blue Ball & Atlas Wire/Glass tops
Lot of 5 Antique Mason Canning Jars~ 2 Blue Ball and 3 Atlas. All about a little over 5" tall. Each one is different. All have the glass tops with the exception of the one Atlas Strong Shoulder Mason. Has the old screw top zinc lid. The 2 Blue balls are both marked ball idea. One is marked with the#8 on bottom. Also has Pat. Date 1908. The other is the Bicentennial 76 Made in USA. 2 Atlas Easy Seals with RUSTY WIRE BAILS, I have not taken off the lids in fear of not getting them back on. One is clear and marked with the# 4. Other is blue with Atlas trade mark on bottom. All are old and selling for décor Only. All show wear. No breaks. Scratches and age of course. This antique 19 th century Rosewood Tea Caddy Box retains its two original 5” tall by 3” square glass jars. The edges of this tea caddy are edged with ... morebrass and there is also brass inlaid into the cover and front panel. In our close up photographs you can see that there is damage to the Mother of Pearl Inlay on the front and cover of the box. As well as a couple of very tiny fleabites to the underside of the covers on the Tea Jars. The inside of this box retains the original lining wich has some wear and fading. Finally, the cover of this box has warped slightly and so it does not close flush with the bottom, and there is an old tight shrinkage line to the top of the cover. I know this sounds like a lot of problems, but this 19thC tea caddy is still in original un-restored condition.
