You are invited to bid on this beautiful antique silver repousse mounted etched crystal crystal decanter. Made in the Hanau area of Germany by the firm of J.D. Schleissner& Sohne. This unusually elegant piece probably dates from the late 19th century 1886-1900. The hallmarks are the crown& cresent moon and 800(silver purity) and the touchmark of the J.D. Schleissner& Sohne Co. which looks to me like a hand held sickle(see photos) We also see some old etched jewelers marks, the numbers 146 and is also faintly stamped"Germany" The J.D. Schleissner& Sohne company was founded about 1817 by Johann Daniel Christian Schleissner. It has exhibited in the 1893 Chicago Worlds Columbian Exposition and the 1904 St. Louis International Exposition. This beautiful decanter bottle is a pinched center donut shape with file wheel etched garlands on the front and back shoulders and sides. The stopper is pierced hollow repousse silver with a crystal bottom. The bottom tip of the stopper is broken off, but this can be repaired by a glass craftsman at an antique show. There is also a small flake on the flat polished base of the bottle, which is also an easy restoration. There is no damage found on the silver mounting work or silver portion of the stopper. Some rubber cushioning was applied under the bottle base. Measurements are approximately 9" high(stopper in place) about 5 1/4" wide and about 2 1/2" deep. This beautiful antique cut glass decanter belonged to my great grandmother. It has a thumbprint design all around. It has a graceful neck with grooves and a cut faceted stopper. It measures 11-1/2" high and 5-1/2" across. There is one tiny chip on the stopper but otherwise it's in very good condition. Check out my other items! I am happy to combine shipping on any items. this is a stunning rare antique hand blown green glass wine kettle. it has a very rare design and styling and made in Spain. it's made from thick glass and has many nice elements. has a beautiful thick handle with a swirled top and fat bottom. has a thin neck to prevent spilling when glass is carried by handle. the spout tapers from thick to thin and resembles a kettle shape. the sides at the bottom tapers in and the actual bottom is also domed inward. and also has the mark where the excess glass was cut off. it's in great shape. Antique Art Deco Baccarat Crystal Decanter This is a gorgeous Baccarat Crystal Decanter circa 1920s Art Deco. This pattern is a rare and extremely difficult to find pattern that has long been retired. This decanter is in excellent vintage condition with normal scratching on the bottom. There are 10 flat panel sides ground and polished around the bottom of the decanter as well as 10 flat panels cut into the neck of the decanter. The bottom of the decanter is marked with the Baccarat Crystal Logo and also etched with the number 20. The Crystal stopper for this decanter seems slightly large for the decanter and sits in the decanter slightly high. We have not been able to find any examples of this decanter in our archival search and have not been able to verify the match of the stopper to this decanter. We assume that this stopper is not the ... moreoriginal stopper. Though it may be a matched replacement that was not properly fitted. There are no cracks chips or repairs to this decanter though the stopper dose have a small fleabite along the edge. A magnet does not stick to the gold areas. This measures with stopper about 9 1/2 inches tall. This has the original stopper, and the entire set is very delicate and lovely looking. Antique Wine Decanter Pewter And Etched Glass
Up for your consideration is this antique wine decanter with a beautiful etched glass body designed with flowers and ferns and a pontiled base. The top is a lovely detailed pewter lid which opens and closes easily and tightly. The graceful glass body is in very good condition with a couple flea bite nicks on the bottom edge and obvious wear on the bottom which is indicative of its age. Thousand Eyes Hobnail Glass Decanter blown pressed Antique/vintage early
Antique/Vintage Hobnail Glass Decanter. About 7" tall and 3 1/2" across. Pontil mark on bottom. Very Clear. Very thick Glass. Weighs over a pound. Has a chip on the bottom edge as shown in the fourth picture. Stopper has a chip in the bottom of it. Don't know if it's supposed to be there or not. In a couple of pictures it looks like there is a crack in the top of the decanter but it's just the pattern from the other side of the bottle. This is a very pretty. Very cool piece.

BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE cut glass decanter and stopper- LOOKS Irish- nicely cut band!!
This decanter could be even older than 1850. But I really can't date it accurately, except to say it's very old I'm guessing 1920's AT LEAST. It's beautiful cut crystal and has an intricately cut band going around the upper central portion where your hand grabs it to pour. Then large cut ovals above and below this band. It's topped off with a dazzling HUGE cut glass knob topped stopper. The decanter without the stopper measures 8 1/4" high, and the stopper measures just shy of 4" long. CONDITION: A relatively small nick in the upper lip of the decanter, numerous fleabites and nicks on the base of the stopper, some very light clouding on some sections of the interior, can totally still see through the glass, some colored liquid in it and I believe it would disappear. I felt all the way around the diamond cut ... moreband about three times and felt nothing, and I see nothing on that. The flat base has numerous light scratches commiserate with age and use. The stopper has 3 or 4 small bubbles in the glass, and there are a few in the glass of the decanter as well. I see no signature or maker's mark. This is a great addition to the cocktail table, cart or tray, with some kind of amber colored liquid in it would be ideal. It's a very solid, masculine piece. And again, age wise I'm guessing, I think my pictures came out kind of washed out I don't know yet how much detail you can see against the pink wall. Offered for bid this week is this exquisite antique etched glass decanter with original stopper. This decanter features a bulbous base with needlepoint etched stars and a vine wrapping around it. The lower portion of the base is widely scalloped. The neck is fluted and the stopper is faceted. The glass is frosted. Where the stopper fits into the neck. This decanter is unmarked and measures 12" in height. Very good condition with no chips or cracks and mild flea bites to the stopper. The matching blown stopper is hollow and ground on the base. It has a rough pontil mark and dates to the first half of the 19th century. The decanter is 10 1/4 inches tall by 5 inches wide. This is a great Deakin and Sons Sheffield silverplate castor set. It has the stand marked in script D& S to the base. Bun feet and reticulated trim. Four bottles. All original. Very early. There is one minor chip on one of the castor bottles with a cut cap. The other one has chipping on the neck and rim as you can see in the images. Antique glass& sterling decanter 1910 Nassau CC. MUST SEE. On the front is says"Nassau Country Club. Medal Play Handicap, June 25, 1910, Won By" there is no name etched into the silver. The decanter weights 2 lbs 10 oz. It is about 8 1/2 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide. The decanter holds a full bottle of wine. The handle and the neck of the bottle is glass but I am not sure if it's lead glass or silver glass but has a shinny grey/silver coloring. Shipping is $15.95 which includes insurance. This Vintage/Antique blue glass bottle/decanter is in great condition. There are no chips or cracks in the bottle or the stopper. The nautical themed bottle measures 8 1/4" tall with the stopper and is 6" in diameter. The life ring shaped bottle has a sailboat and waves on the front and seagulls and waves on the back. It is decorated with a rope design and starfish and seahorses around the edge. Embossed on the bottom of the bottle is: DES. PAT'D 12 06 25.

The decanter body is light green with hand cut beveled neck and cut groves around the base. The handle is artfully applied Clear Glass. The handle has no damage or chips. The clear glass stopper is a perfect fit and is hand cut. This decanter is in excellent condition. The decanter measures 12 1/2" Tall(to the top of the stopper) the base is about 7" in diameter. Antique French Louis XVI Minerva Sterling Silver Cut Glass Liqour Decanter with insert This stunning piece of art is Decortated in Louis XVI Ribbons and Reed Motif. Rosebuds. Roses and Ribbons are etchted into the decanter. The base has a 24 point star-burst. The French Minerva Goddess(950) as well as the markers mark'ARD) with a bishop Cross and a J on the bottom' are on both the decanter and the insert. The silversmith is Joseph Crossard(a cross and ARD for Crossard) was active from 1900-1920 located at 36 Ruede Montmorency in Paris. It stands 5.5" tall 4.24 wide and the base is 2.5/5"s It weighs 478 grams or 16.9 oz or just over 1lb. I believe it is cut crystal but I have seen his works state cut crystal and cut glass. The tone of the glass sound like crystal to me. If so it is very thick crystal/glass.
