This has a very heavy silver overlay which you can feel on the inside of the top lip and where it has worn through on the bottom. The bottle is completely covered in silver and hand etched with flowers and what looks like a g. This is in very good condition except where the bottom has worn through and has not been polished but will shine up beautifully if desired. This is approximately 5" across x 3 1/2" tall. It did not come with a stopper. The opening is approximately 5/8" The bottom of the bottle is hollow ground which leads me to believe that the bottle was hand blown. Please see pic's for condition. Antique 1800s Tantalus Sterling Silver Plated 3 Cut Glass Decanter Bottles
This decanter set is very impressive! It includes the three original hand cut leaded crystal decanters that are hand blown and etched with deep symmetrical cuts. The tantalus features an oak body with heavy silver plated handle and corner details. Includes the key that was found with it. But I didn't try to lock with the key because I didn't want to take a chance and the pivoting top handle is now in the unlocked position so the bottles can be removed. The carrier is in excellent condition, and the bottles have only some small chips you would expect from light use and considerable age, also there is some cloud or residue inside the bottles which I did not try to clean. The bottles including stoppers are about 9" tall, bases are 3 1/4" square, entire tantalus is about 15" x 5 1/2" and 13" tall. Roses and Ribbons are etchted into the decanter. The base has a 24 point star-burst. The French Minerva Goddess(950) as well as the markers mark'ARD) with a bishop Cross and a J on the bottom' are on both the decanter and the insert. The silversmith is Joseph Crossard(a cross and ARD for Crossard) was active from 1900-1920 located at 36 Ruede Montmorency in Paris. Stunning blown glass decanter with 6 matching glasses. These are hand painted red with gold trim and the flowers. Stems, and leaves are etched out. Not sure exactly how old the set is but I'm 35 and they purchased them way before I was born. These were my grandparents and I inherited the set about 16 years ago. I think they are incredibly beautiful but I have kept them packed up this whole time due to raising children and not having a safe spot to put them. We are downsizing soon. VINTAGE ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED SCROLLED WHITE MILK GLASS DRESSER BOTTLE DECANTER
This is an antique white opaque milk glass dresser bottle or decanter. It has a floral scroll work design that is hand painted with brown paint. The top of the decanter has a blue floral design. As with most of this type of old milk glass a lot of the paint has worn off but it is still pretty. There is a chip on the rim of the top(see pictures 4 and 5) It is 8-1/2" high and approximately 5-1/2" in diameter. The stopper is hollow.

Antique English Sterling Silver & Cut Glass Small Decanter / Master Perfume
I'm not sure what this piece is used for- maybe a small decanter or a large"master" perfume. It measures 7 1/2" high and approximately 5" across at the widest. The bottom half is elaborately cut glass. The top half is encased in sterling silver with a detailed design of cherubs, birds, flowers and two areas where it could be monogrammed, but it is not. Above the flat space for a monogram is what looks like a northwind face, with a larger matching face on the lid, along with a bird and leaves. The hallmarks identify this as sterling silver, Q = 1899, the shield is only partially visible but identifies it as Chester assay. The makers mark is also only partially visible but is JD over WD in a shield, which is the mark for James Deakin& Sons(1883-1921) The neck has a cut glass stopper; the lid has some perforations ... morewhich appear to be intentional. There's some cloudiness in very bottom of the center of the glass which may or may not clean up. There are some tiny chips on the glass cut edges, visible only on close inspection. And the"made in Italy" sticker is still on the neck of the bottle.It stands 11" tall, and approximatly 4" in width. It appears to have a sharp edge around the rim of the shot glass head/lid,as if never polished or de-burred from factory. Includes one decanter with lid and six shot glasses. Circa 1930's to 1940's. MEXICO is spelled out around the shoulders of the bottle. I'm not going to speculate about how the craftsman managed to accomplish this. But. the decanter is a glass bottle that has been covered with a thin layer of bark and sawed off branches. The bottle base is footed with three protruding branches. The bottle has a(bark covered) aluminum lid with a paper liner. The six shot glasses are clear glass covered with thin bark wraps. They have an applied round wood base(cut from a branch) The glasses may lean a bit, but they all sit completely flat- they don't fall over. Decanter measures ... more14 inches tall with the lid in place. The lid. And all of the shot glasses, are about 2 1/4 inches high. Two shot glasses have some amount of bark loss toward their base. And one of these was repaired by re-applying the round wood piece to the bottom of the glass. The decanter is in excellent condition. What a neat old find. I'll wrap it up nice and safe. No smoking. I believe this glass piece was made by the well known& respected Boston& Sandwich Glass Company. The pattern name is Engraved Roman Key& Star. This decanter without the stopper measures 8-1/2" high. The stopper that is in the decanter is NOT original to the decanter& it does not fit properly but that is what I have used& am selling with this decanter. This stopper is elegant& it is 3-3/4" long. This stopper has a 6 cut& polished'petal' like decoration on the top. The underside of the bottom of the decanter shows nice wear and it also has a lovely polished pontil. Antique Vtg PURPLE Glass 1896 DECANTER Bottle Hand Blown Perfume French English? This is an Antique Hand Blown Light Purple Glass Decanter/Bottle that has Raised letters on the glass on the base PATD April 21st 1896. You can tell by the Craftsmanship that this is a Very old Bottle and was Hand Blown as there are bubbles in the glass and at the top. The lip is uneven. There are no other marks on the bottle and I am unclear of what it's original use was for. I am guessing maybe perfume or Lavender water? It seems kind of small for a whiskey bottle, but it could have been. Due to this I do not know where it was made either. Maybe French or English? It measures aprox 8 3/4" tall and 2 3/8" square at the base. In Wonderful Vintage condition with minor scratches and imperfections in the glass. But no Breaks, Chips or Cracks. Antique Very Old Etched Wine Decanter Bottle with Stopper Blown Glass Pontil
I'm pretty sure this decanter is over 200 years old. I am not for certain. But I have seen decanters with this same pattern and style in books and on the internet claiming to be this old. The item is not in great condition, but it's in decent condition. The only chips on the stopper are on the underside of the patterning. There are two sizable chips, but they are not readily noticeable until close observation since they are underneath the stopper patterning. The top ring of the three rings on the neck is damaged. There is about a 1/2" piece that is no longer present. The other rings appear to be in good condition. The inside is somewhat dirty and could use a cleaning, but there isn't much haze, just some build up. I do not detect any flea bites in the body. The body does have bubbles and inclusions. They are minimal and sparsely ... morescattered. The etched pattern is of grapes and leaves. There is also a vertical patterning running along the base. The base has a star pattern with a pontil in the middle. It has ample base wear. I do not detect much damage on the base, if any at all. Antique cobalt gold trim glass decanter Cognac handblown
Beautiful antique cobalt glass hand blown decanter accented in gold and labeled Cognac. Th only issue with this piece is the stem of the stopper. It seems to be broken off a bit past the round top. I lightened up the picture with the stopper for a better view. The gold on the top of the stopper also has a bit of a dark mark the size of an eraser head. Otherwise, it's an excellent piece. The intense blue exceptional. It stands 11" tall and 4" wide. The pontil mark is visible in picture 4. I am starting the bidding low to compensate for its' issues.

The silver overlay depicts a courting couple on the shoulders of the decanter. As well as a courting couple and a shepherd with his sheep on the neck of the decanter. There are flowers and trees and ornate framing- very pretty. I don't think the stopper is original to this ornate pinch decanter, the bottom shows some wear, and there are(water? spots inside the decanter. It is 8.5" tall and 4" in diameter to the top of the neck.

This listing features a beautiful old glass decanter. It has 6 sides and what I call a thumbprint design(depressed areas in each section. It has the original stopper. I saw no chips or cracks. A previous owner has taped the stopper so it fits tighter. I have not attempted to remove the tape. It stands with stopper in. Right at 6 1/2" tall. It has what I call a"broken" pontil(rough from removal at the point of manufacturing) The decanter is heavy weighing 1 pound 4 ounces unpacked. It is lovely! Antique Boston & SANDWICH GLASS CO ROMAN KEY & STAR BLOWN ENGRAVED DECANTER
This is another item in the box I took out of the archives. A circa 1880 Blown and polished pontil glass decanter. This has the Roman Key(we called it the Greek Key) and Star pattern. It is a lovely piece about 10 1/2 Inches in Height INcluding original stopper. Which is a rarity in itself as they usually are broken and or lost, but as yo can see the stopper also has the star engraving. No chips or cracks,roughage of course on edge of stopper and on pontil. We used to use this for PORT. Lovely lovely piece. I would keep this but I try not to keep anything that I just unearthed and besides I have enough decanters as it is. Thanks for your interest.

Antique Green Glass Musical Whiskey/Wine Decanter; How Dry am I
Up for Auction This beautiful green decanter. Please check the pictures closely and if you need more pictures please let me know I will add more to the listing. This decanter was purchased in an estate sale and is said to be created in the early 1950's. I did not have it officially appraised so I will describe as clearly as I can. The glass is dark green. With three visable indented sides with 24k gold scribling on all the glass. Aluminuim framing surrounds the decanter with hand made siding screwed into holder carved into leaves and grames. This decanter is in perfect condition, I see no chips on the glass. The base is aluminum and the bottom has a wind up for the musical part of the decanter. A beautiful wine decanter or carafe from the Perfection Bottle Company. Wilkes-Barre, that is over 110 years old! The neck and silver ring unscrews to get to the round base(a great way to clean a bottle! The glass neck base reads. PAT MARCH 30, 97" The bottle measures 9 1/2" tall and holds 1 1/2 quarts(6 cups) of liquid. The bottle is in overall very good condition with no breaks or cracks. just a few light scratches. The neck is secured by the screw down silver ring and it can not fall off but time has made it loose. You can add a rubber ring around it if you would like.

Antique Mary Gregory Decanter Black Glass Boy Fishing 12" Tall
Antique Mary Gregory Decanter w/ Stopper Black Amethyst Glass Ghostly Boy Fishing Figure This beautiful decanter is hand blown from what you would think is jet black glass but if you hold it to the light you will see that it is a very dark purple/amethyst colored glass. This glass is much thinner than some of the Bohemian copies of the period. The tapering baluster shape on a large base gives the maximum area for the circle of hand applied small white enamel dots. The white enameled Mary Gregory Ghostly scene is a boy fishing with a caught fish. There is gold gilt trim on the top and neck of the stopper. Gilt is also around the top of the decanter and the base. The gilt trim is worn some. The decanter measures 12” tall with stopper in place and 8-1/2” without the stopper. The base is 2-7/8” The decanter base is in very good condition with ... moreno chips or cracks. The stopper has a small chip on the top edge where it inserts into the bottle(see photo) and a few small nicks on the inside bottom of the stopper. The stopper is numbered 53. Condition is very good. The white enameling is in superb order. No surface scratching. Scuffs or flaking. ALSO: photos 10.11,12) included is a lidded dish that is in poor condition. Unfortunately, it has been broken and it has been glued back together in several places(see photos) The finial has a chip in the glass and a piece missing at the gold gilt neck. It has been glued back together also. It is a beautiful piece that has a Ghostly scene of a boy with a butterfly net and a butterfly flying. It has the same enameled design on the lid and small white enamel dots on the base as the decanter. The gilt is well worn. I have included it in spite of its condition. Displayed up on a shelf you would not see the broken flaws. The base and lid are numbered 29.

A late 19th Century liqueur sized decanter in the claret jug style. The body is of attractive conical form and is beautifully etched in intaglio style with swags and stylised flowers. The glass section is unmarked but would clearly appear to be a Stourbridge factory. Perhaps Stevens& Williams. The solid silver mount is of good heavy gauge and comes with a lid having a thumb lift. The handle is of looped form attached at the top only. The mount has London Hallmarks for 1893. It also has the makers mark for Horace Woodward& Co. The silver marks are a little rubbed as you can see in the close up image but can still be made out well enough to read. A very stylish example with the extra feature of the intaglio style cutting to the high quality body. Hinge and lid functioning well and this item would be ok to use as well as display. It measures 11” tall. 1 ¼” top diameter and 3 ½” base diameter and features skillful wheel engravings of ferns and flowers and bears the name J. O. Thompson 1907. Antique Lidded Wine/Water Glass Decanter In overall excellent condition. This is a cast glass decanter with a white metal hinged lid. The inside of the lid is still very much plated. The exterior plating has worn off leaving what appears to be ornate pewter, although the exact metal is unknown to us. The decanter will need to be cleaned before use as there is some dried-on residue in evidence. This stands approximately 25.5 cm tall and is 12.5 cm in diamater. Scroll down for pictures. Design is Clear glass with band of Red and gold These all have markings on the bottom but we would go blind trying to figure it out, coming out of a local Las Vegas estate. Decanter measures 11" tall with stopper by 4" in diameter at the widest. Shot glasses are 3" tall by 1 1/2" diameter at bottom. the overall condition is very pretty.
