Found in the wilderness of the Catskill Mountains of New York State on the premises of a long defunct summer resort hotel which had been closed at least since 1960s. I found these bottles and some others in the 1970s whilst hiking in the wooded area behind the hotel complex amongst piles of other glass and ceramic wares that had been used by the hotel and its visitors. I recall finding a gun and holster rotted away by time there too) I was then a young kid seeking adventure& exploring the miles of thick forest area there. I'm now a grand-dad and looking to clean out some of my lifelong collections since other things have taken priority for space in my home. This is a set of 5 antique beakers and bottles that come from the home of an 86 year old woman. These items were used by her Grandfather so that would put them around 1910 or so. The tallest beaker is 10" high. It has numbers etched into the glass from 10 to 100 in increments of 10. Next to the 100 at the top of the beaker is"ml 20 c" The second bottle has a spout and is 7 1/2" tall. The diameter at the bottom is 4" and at the top 2" Next is 2 matching bottles each 6" tall. Bottom diameter 3" top of bottles 1 3/4" The last little bottle is 5 1/2" tall. It's very light weight and feels like hand blown glass. This is a genuine antique and it dates from the Victorian/ Edwardian period. The silverplate has long since worn off exposing the brass as you can see. And it looks to have happened quite some time ago considering the patina of the brass. There are English hallmarks on top. The Tantalus is made of solid oak and in overall good condition considering the age. It comes with the original key and the lock mechanism is in good order. The original 3 bottles are present. These bottles are hand cut glass. This is the real deal. And each bottle has the original hand cut stopper. All of the bottles are free from chips& cracks. This is an exquisite antique lockable liquor decanter caddy set. it consists of three thick glass bottles topped with silver-lated lids and gold lettering. they consist of a Scotch. Rye, and Bourbon. the stand is extremely ornate with wonderful art deco detailing. the large lockable mechanism on the top locks so it can be accessed by just anybody. the mechanism sits right on top of each bottle when closed and pivots back and forth on the two arms which enables the bottles to be removed when opened. the set is complete with no pieces missing. it has a nice patina from age. EARLY COBALT - DOSE CUP - SHOT GLASS - MINIATURE ANTIQUE BOTTLES!
This is a early cobalt dose cup. The little shot glass is only 1 7/16" tall and is also 1 7/16" wide and slightly oblong. It has embossed numbers. From 1 through 12 along the rim, and the base reads: THIS CUP HOLDS ONE DOSE and a five point star. It might belong to a bottle but there was no trace of one in the privy and I haven't seen another one like it. Guessing it dates from the middle 1870's because of the other items recovered from that privy. With very light ground stain, it is in excellent privy-dug condition! Thanks!

Cute pair of antique amber color glass perfume bottles with silver overlay designs. The perfume bottles are identical in size and shape but the silver overlay designs are slightly different. Also we noticed that the opening of one of the bottles is slightly larger than the other. Each bottle has its original matching with the bottle glass stopper and each one fits well into the bottle. Condition on both bottles is very good. Only on one of the two. There is some silver loss around the top part of the bottle shown in one of the pictures. Everything else is in great condition. Pr Antique Cut Glass Cruet Bottles Sterling Silver Tops Hallmarked England
This is for a pair of antique cruet or vinegar bottles with sterling silver tops. There are nicks in the glass at the bottom of the bottles and there are a couple of tiny dents in the sterling toppers. The hallmark is an anchor. A lion and one has a b and the other a c and the makers initials is H&T. They are over 7 1/2" tall and over 3 1/2" wide at the base. A neat old set. The glass looks cut to me but could be pressed and there is a star cut out on the bottom of each bottle. Thanks for looking and have a blessed day.

Pair of Vintage Square Sanford Ink Bottles- 1 2oz. and 1 1oz. 1st bottle- Sanford 2 oz ink bottle with Sanford's company logo embossed on front. 2 oz embossed on two sides. Sanford's 276 embossed on the bottom. Very good condition with some minor scratches on one side. See pictures as they provide part of the description. It measures approx 2-1/2" tall and 1-7/8" sq on the bottom. The embossing can be seen in the photos- it says 2oz on two sides. Has a stylized SY Co logo on one side. RARE Vintage/Antique– Lot of 5 Apothecary Bottles with Ground Glass Stoppers Mint Condition A very uncommon and unusual ground glass bottle SET with a ground glass penny head stopper. The last of my collection) The TALL specimen jar is 4” tall and 2 ¼” wide with a ground glass lid that sits on top of the jar and a ground glass rim for a perfect seal. No markings on the jar. The small specimen jar is 1 1/4” tall and 2” wide with a ground glass lid that sits over the top of the jar and a ground glass rim for a perfect seal. Made in Germany is etched into the bottom of the jar. The small clear bottle is 3 1/8” tall and 1 3/8“ wide. It still has the factory paper between the bottle and stopper to prevent sticking of the stopper. On the bottom it has TCW CO USA 11 The taller clear bottle is 4” tall and 1 ½“ wide. COOL Make-Do Vase Made from 4 Antique Glass Medicine Bottles & Tin Wire
COOL Make-Do Vase Made from 4 Antique Glass Medicine Bottles& Tin Wire The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. There’s something for everyone! This is one of my favorites this week- and arghghghg! I don't think that my photos do it justice. It's such a neat idea- take 4 old glass medicine bottles and bind them together with tin wire. Add a carrying handle from the tin. And you have yourself a wonderful primitive make-do vase! 4 vases, actually, as each bottle is it's own independent well. The bottles are all the same size- 6 3/8" ... moretall and 1 1/2" wide, but the piece put together measures 3" square. Each bottle measures 1" diameter at the mouth and 1/2" inside diameter at the mouth measuring on the inside walls. What perfect primitive quadruple bud vases they would make! It is in excellent condition. The bottles are made from molded glass and have a seam that stops under the large rim of the top. The bottoms, you can see, were part of the mold, and have a texture around the underside perimeter. The glass is thick- with lots of bubbles, burps, lines and anomolies original to the making. No chips or cracks that I can find. There's some white spots on the tin that look almost like paint oops spray. See photo 9- I think they will come off if you want because I scraped photo 9's white spot once with my fingernail. and it's almost totally gone now. The bottles are dirty- especially the insides where you can see residue that is white/hazy, carmel colored blobs, and other blobs of stuff(and maybe a cob web or two! They need a good bath- I have not cleaned in any way- the patina is as found. Speaking of which, the tin wire is very dark- darker than it looks in my photos, I think. T

Up for bids is this Art Deco set that contains two glass perfume bottles with stoppers and one vanity box or powder jar. The glass has a nice peachy amber color. The set is without chips or cracks and is vintage. The only flaw is that one of the stoppers is a lighter amber than the other. This is barely noticeable unless compared side by side in the light. There are three perfume bottles of specially shaped glass to fit into holder. The center bottle is round and the other two fit around the center bottle and into the holder. the base is 8" x 4-1/4" The holder is 6-1/8" x 3-1/4" and the overall height is 5-1/4" There is a metal cap on top of the stoppers. It is marked Handmade Czechoslovakia on the bottom. Glass is in good condition- there is some tarnishing on the top cap- Set probably dates to the 1930's-1940's. Beautiful design and detail. Says HALLS LIMITED TRADE MARK“W’ WALKDEN on one side with a picture of a rooster or bird and the other side has no writing. Markings on the bottom are N&CoLtd 6882. The lid says NORTHGATE BREWERY CHESTER. It is 9 inches tall including the lid, and 2.75 inches wide at bottom. Taller green bottle in picture says YORKs BOTTLERS ASSOCIATION Ltd REGISTERED TRADE MARK on one side with crossed shovels that have B in one and A in the other and other side of bottle has no writing. On the bottom is some lettering that I cannot make out but can see a Co Ltd. Lid is same as other bottle, an interior screw type. It is 10 inches tall including lid and 3 inches wide at the bottom. Collection of 53 Antique German and French Hand Blown Glass Perfume Bottles From the estate of Laura M. Mueller This collection includes perfume bottles of various shapes and sizes ranging from 2" long to 4.5" long. Designs include mercury glass. Sparkle ribbons, and three have hand painted details. Only one bottle(the longest one) doesn't have its stopper. The other 52 bottles have stoppers. Including one that is threaded glass and one that is crown shaped. These perfumes date to the early 1900's. Laura M. Mueller wrote several collector's books on compacts and vanity cases. Up for your consideration. Beautiful pair of OLD blue glass Bottles! Most likely to be used as a Cruet set. These pieces were hand blown with rough pontil, a few oldtime straw marks noted and just outstanding workmanship! The stoppers are a little rough but no chips or cracks or anything, just old. What's VERY hard to show are the 3 circle indents on each bottles sides! Dimples are the approximately size of a quarter but are pointed at the inside area, hard to explain to but super looking! Antique I W Rice shell top & vintage Avon atomizer clear glass perfume bottles
Here are two atomizer bottles. First is a vintage Avon clear glass perfume bottle. The next bottle is an antique I W Rice imported from Japan atomizer. It has a very pretty round glass with squares design. The top is gold tone metal with a shell flower on gold leaves with a gold bead in the center. The pump has gotten hard. Is drooping down and doesn't work anymore. There are no chips or cracks. We combine shipping. Thanks for looking.

This set contains 4 glass jars from the early 1900's. Each jar is labeled with a hand written label. One of the labels is dated December 1st 1921! The jars are sealed shut. But could be heated and opened by someone who wants to restore their functionality. All four of the jars have wire around the top, near the lid. one jar has a small chip in the lid and another jar has a larger chip along the bottom, but still stands straight.
