Antique-French? Vallerysthal ?-Blue Opaline Milk Glass- Epergne Peice
Offered is a peice I ran across that I was advised is called a Epergne piece. By a wonderfully helpful fellow ebayer. It has brass threads attached to the bottom, It looks quite old and antique but not sure of its exact age. Its shape is like a trumpet flower. It is a tealish blue opaline milk glass with a embossed design that leads me to beleive its most likely a French piece with a very close look of Vallerysthal pieces but again not certain. The threads are attached with what looks to be a glue or clear apoxy as you can see it ran over a bit onto glass but is attached super well. Its very pretty and is in good condition with the exception of one tiny chip on one of the point at top but is very hard to see, I tried to photo the area in last picture and it as stated above has some residue on glass at bottom thread attachment area. It measures ... more8 1/2" long from tip of points to very bottom of threaded peice. Its 4 3/4" across top from point to point and its opening at top is 2 1/2" The threaded peice is just a smidge under 1" across. HUGE Matched Pair Antique Victorian Epergne Trumpet Vases Silverplate Holder Frame In this Listing. Outstanding set! Matched pair of vases in silverplate frames. The glass is cranberry pink inside cased with a white exterior. The top of the vases flares open with deeply crimped and ruffled edges. Letting the cranberry color peek out. The outside of the vases has been hand-painted with enameled flowers and brilliant gold gilt. The silverplate holders secure the vase in a well between two heart-shaped curved handles. They feature a tall pleated column center that is mounted on a wide-spread ornately decorated base. Which balances out the overall height and gives them added stability. Marked on the underside with the Honan Silver Plate Co. logo- the number#1270 and the words Warranted Quadruple Plate and Special Metal. Assembled. The pieces ... moremeasure approximately 15" tall. Unassembled, the glass measures 9-3/4" x 6" Holders are 7-3/4" to the top of the handles(6-1/2" to the vase tip) with a 5" footprint. Estate item- as found. No chips. antique victorian single epergne horn vaseline glass with rigaree
Up for your consideration is this single horn for a old epergne. It is around 9" long and 3" at the flower. The glass is in good shape. I see no chips or cracks. The flower has a tint imperfection, looks like a something got in the mold and left a tiny pin hole in the surface of the mouth of the flower. It looks just fine and would probably vanish if i cleaned the dust off of it. I found this at a thrift store in south Florida. This is a group of five which I think is a complete set of green glass Epergne flutes which were hand made around the Victorian era and no later than Edwardian- each one is slightly different but they all have the same approximate dimensions where they insert into the body/ frame of the holder- the insert section has a flat ground base. The narrowest width is 21 mm and it tapers upwards to give a diameter of 27 mm where it meets the ridged neck. They are 10.5 cm tall and around 7.5 cm diameter at the top. T his group of five glass flutes are in very good condition- none appear to have suffered any chips or cracks except one that does have a line as seen in the photos- I think it is a manufacturing flaw. Antique victorian silverplate figural spread wing eagle posey holder epergne base. Unfortunately. The sawtooth edge of the cone shaped vase is broken. Two of the sawtooth tips are split. The tips are still attached, but only slightly. Also, there is a small gash in the silverplate platform, on the center front edge, as pictured. This posey holder measures 5 1/2" tall. The diameter of the cone shape vase is 3/4" The diameter of the bottom of the holder is 3 3/4" The wing span of the eagle is approximately 6" This piece is marked G 5070. An Antique Cranberry Glass & Pelaton Ware Victorian Tri Branch Epergne
A late Victorian antique three branch epergne dating around 1880. The three branches are formed in the'jack-in-the-pulpit' design and they spring from a central clear glass and metal holder. The bowl has a frilled rim and is dished in the traditional style. The epergne is produced in cranberry glass. And most excitingly with pelaton canes. The pelaton work is in pure white glass(rather than the coloured glass often seen) perhaps as it works better with the cranberry ground. The white canes are also more frequent than usual and it makes for a lovely effect as you can see in the images. A lovely piece of Victorian decorative glass. Probably from the Stourbridge region. It is the first pelaton epergne we have ever come across so it is likely a very scarce design. Antique Bohemian Enamel Glass Epergne Lizard Harrach
Beautiful Art Glass Epergne Horn With Blue Drip Rim and Applied Lizard is Believed to be c1860-1900 and of Bohemian Czech Origin. So Far in Researching it. Only Harrach has been found to have the Applied Lizards, and the Enamel Flowers are also consistent with Harrach. The Horn is in What Looks to be a Make Do Brass Lighting Collar. So I assume the Base did not Survive. The horn to the top of the brass collar is approximately 8 1/2" Tall and 5" in Diameter at the Rim. Condition is Excellent With No Breakage. And Not a Tremendous amount of Wear, although there is a Bit here and there to the gilt. There is also some stubborn dirt in the very tip that I didn't want to get too rough with. Antique Victorian English Glass Epergne - marvellous pink Jack in Pulpit (1072)
Antique Victorian cased pink glass epergne in the form of 3 Jack in the Pulpit flowers fanning out of a bowl. Made in England circa 1900 by either Stourbridge or Thomas Webb. Base is about 10inches accross. Total height is 15 1/4inches. Cased opalescent glass. Pearly white in parts, pink running to ruby red stems in others. Base has frilly edges in pink and white with a conical center that has a greenish tinge towards the point. Here the stems converge in brass holders seperated by a brass flower. Great quality and visual effect. The piece is in good condition. One brass holder is missing(but the stem fits directly into the holder) and one gorgeous flower has a tiny pinprick sized hole. That is original to it's production and not the result of damage. It is so small that my camera could not capture it. It has been suggested that there ... morewas originally a tall. Central piece that is now missing. Some collectors have weighed in with the opinion that since there is no'hole' for another section, this is the epergne's original form. I believe there might have been an attachment to hold a very long, thin, central component, but without further information, the jury is out. For sale with No Reserve is this Glass Trumpet Epergne Vase The vase has a slight amethyst or smoked/ purple tint to it. Measuring almost 10" long the horn end is 5 3/8" across. This older piece of glass does have several bubbles in it. Also around the conical or smaller end there is some roughness and a small flake. Antique Epergne Lamp 30's 40's Amber Vase & Crystal Teardrops Vintage Art Deco
This listing is for a very unique Epergne Lamp. All original. Except for partial rewiring. Works! It's an antique and has been in my family a long time, but I don't know much about it. I believe it's from the 30's or 40's- Art Deco Period. It has the cloth original wiring inside, which is in good condition as you can see in the pictures, with some that has been rewired. It's made out of a combination of leaded glass, brass coated metal, and tin. I'm not sure if it's solid brass or brass coated(over possibly pot metal) but, it is extremely heavy. The vase is amber colored glass. The tulip leaves are tin with hanging amber crystal teardrops. Four of the teardrops are missing. And one of them is broken. The enclosure where the main light bulb is located, swings back on a hinge to open and has amber leaded glass ... moreinserts on the bottom part, and a light blue leaded glass top. This bulb contributes to illuminating the vase. The lamp also is adorned with 2 brass ladies, one on each side, holding cascading rosettes. The Lamp is approximately 14" high at the top of the vase. It is ornately decorated, yet, stunningly charming. I believe these bulbs are old. And, one of the bulbs has come out of it's threaded base. It is a really beautiful piece. I'd love to know who this bracelet belonged to. A wealthy Victorian child? Or maybe her lucky doll? Measuring just 4.5 inches(11.5cm) It was designed for a tiny hand. Made of 14K mesh(tested) With a tiny 10K taille d'epergne clasp. The clasp opens with a tiny lever and closes firmly. The enamel surface is in excellent condition, no dings or dents and no loss of black enamel. The only issue with this bracelet is a couple kinks in the mesh of the bracelet. Antique/Vintage Victorian Epergne Vaseline Glass Ruffled Opalescent Trumpet Vase
Hello everyone. I'm listing in this auction an antique Victorian era yellow opalescent epergne trumpet vase that has a true vaseline glass applied trim. It's certainly a stunner and it's brightly irridescent under black light, you can see it in one of the photos. The pattern is lovely and so is the condition, there are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to the vase, the bowl was damaged in transit, so I will only include it with vase for an adjusted fee for the shipping cost, but only if the buyer specifies they want it to repair or for parts, otherwise it's an auction for the trumpet vase alone. The original brass fitting is still firmly intact and the vase measures about 11 1/2" tall. The ruffled rim on the vase was all hand tooledl, they were a beautiful set and a rare find. Victorian Antique Ruffled Trumpet Vase w/ Snake for Epergne Nouveau Art Glass
Antique Glass Trumpet Vase With applied snake or serpent Detailed in gold. This was part of an epergne(centerpiece) The trumpet style vase was a Victorian fashion; I've seen a similar one dated to about 1850. This vase isn't signed and has no identifying marks. So that is my best estimation. It is missing the base, unfortunately, which would tell me more. The white glass isn't solid like modern milk glass; it has a flecked texture that I tried to capture in the second-to-last photograph. The serpent has a glassy smooth texture and jade green color. So it may be the artist was trying to simulate jade. With its forked tongue sticking out. It looks wickedly biblical. 11.25" in length. 4.5" at widest point

beautiful and rare antique mid 19th century bohemian hand etched glass epergne ca 1845 to about 1855. Lovely design of grape leafs and swags, really beautiful, on base is a straw mark where glass was cooled on straw, i have only seen this on early glass. the piece is in great shape for age, one flake at rim, very minor otherwise mint for age, the epergne is in one piece measures 10 inches tall by 6 3/4 inches across, how lovely this would look displayed with wildflowers or roses, perfect for a centerpiece,hope it goes to a good home or collection, item sold as is, thanks and good luck!

Gorgeous Antique Epergne Centrepiece Silver Plated Stand & Pressed Glass Vases
Here on offer is a gorgeous antique epergne centrepiece silver plated stand& pressed glass vases. The piece dates to the late 1800s or early 1900s. This wonderful epergne features a silver plated stand that has elegantly curved arms and ball feet. The three encircling arms each holds a trumpet vase. At the centre they come together and support a fourth trumpet vase high above the others. The silver does have the makers name, but is embossed‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ in gothic lettering. The pressed glass trumpet vases feature prisms. Starbursts and‘thumbprint’ fluted rims. The four glass trumpet vases are in excellent condition, without damage. The epergne is offered in good antique condition. It measures about 30.6cm in height by 23cm at the widest point. Each vase measures 15cm by 7cm. The epergne weighs 1000g. Antique Black Forest Carved Wood Vase Epergne Click on the thumbnails to view more photos Lovely antique black forest carved wood vase with etched glass vase dating to the 1880's. The carvings are wonderful with shells at the base and a fluted border. The vase body has carved palm leaves with a group of flowers and the carved leaves hold the etched glass vase. The glass vase can be removed. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. The epergne measures 11" high and the base measures 5" wide. Without the glass the black forest vase measures about 8" high. I could find nothing wrong with it! I have just returned from a wonderful antique market in London and I will be listing several great items. Many of these items would make great one of a kind gifts. Cranberry on the inside and white on the outside with hand painted flowers and gold leaves on the outside. Each horn measures just shy of 10 inches long and from ruffle to ruffle measures 5 ¾ inches in diameter. One of the horns is free of any chips or cracks and the other one has a missing edge on the ruffle that I think is hard to see because of the shape and turned to the back ... moreside is not even noticeable. I tried to show a picture of the missing piece of the ruffle, although this does not detract from this in any way as you can see. This silver epergne has a plain tapering form with a flared rim onto a spreading circular domed base. The surface of the epergne is plain and unembellished apart from a plain embossed band encircling the body. The rim and foot of this fine epergne are ornamented with gadroon decoration and matching salver was made by Barker Brothers. Antique Brass Epergne Trumpet Vase Base w/Dolphins
Offering this vintage/antique brass epergne vase holder. I believe this to date near the Victorian era but have no confirmation of this. It has four trumpet shaped receptacles which would hold the glass vases. This measures 13" at the tallest. It is Classical Italian in style with a trio of dolphins holding the trio of outer trumpets while the center trumpet rests atop a fluted base. Each trumpet will unscrew from the base for ease in packaging. California buyers must add 7.5% sales tax. We only charge actual shipping costs. Should actual shipping be less than paid. Beautiful Antique Epergne Clear and Cranberry Leaf Motif
This is a beautiful antique epergne clear and cranberry in color. It stands 12-1/4" tall x 7-3/4" across the base(3-1/4" across the widest part of the vase) It has a beautiful leaf motif around the top and sides. With two large leaves set in brass at the bottom(removable) Condition: Is very good except for one of the removable leaves at the base which has been glued(please see last picture) This epergne came from an estate in Lakeway TX. Unfortunately we don't know the age or the maker of this lovely piece. Since taking the photos. I've been able to clean up the clear vase quite a bit, gently and non abrasively.
