Description: This auction is for one antique silver plated epergene by Thomas Bradbury& Sons of Sheffield England. The epergene fully assembled measures 19" tall by 21" wide by 9" wide at the triangular base. The epergene is in excellent estate condition with no bends. Splits or dings in the silver plate but there is mild plate wear on the under sides of some of the leaves. There would have been glass globes that went into three of the branches once upon a time but they are no longer present but there are three washers that are included in with this piece. Here is a super item which would brighten up any period or modern table setting. A large table centrepiece with its four removable pierced dishes, it is 13.5" 34cm) high and the condition is good with the larger dish being 7" across and the 3 smaller ones 4" The whole thing stands on 3 large rounded feet, a really striking item which could be loaded with grapes, sweets, bon bons or even flowers. No makers mark just marked epns and dates from the very early 1900s. Low start and no reserve. Please check my other items. I am more than willing to combine postage. Elegant Antique Epergne/Centerpiece Sheffield Silver Plate& Crystal 1810-1820s Presented is an elegant centerpiece or epergne. It is old Sheffield silver fused plate with the original cut glass or crystal bowl. The stand is nicely decorated with a gadrooned detail at the base of the stand. Handsome paw feet, and ornamental flourishes. The whole piece is very well done! The glass is beautifully hand cut. It is decorated with diamond points and a lovely star burst design. The glass bowl is a good weight. It fits the silver plate framework perfectly. And we have no doubt that this is the original glass. The glass bowl has a good capacity and it is fairly deep(2 ½ inches) The epergne is very good quality. It has been professionally cleaned. Please scroll down to see our photographs. This great piece is from between 1810 and the 1820s. ... moreSo it is a good age! There are signs of soldering or reinforcements made over the years. The copper is showing through in a few places. But this does not detract from its regal appearance. There are no dents, no dings, and no problems of any kind. There are a few chips or flakes to the teeth of the glass bowl. But we don't feel any of the chips to the teeth are consequential. Overall it is in very good condition for being 200 years old. For sale we have this stunning ornate antique Victorian britannia plate table centre piece or epergne. This very impressive piece is beautifully made with very find detailing to the metalwork. It is decorated with grapes and vine leaves. The piece is complete with the original cut glass bowl. The piece dates to the later half of the Victorian period C1880. The cut glass bowl measures 25.5cm/10" across. The piece stands 44.5cm/17.5" tall with the base measuring 17.5cm/7" across. The condition of the piece is very good for its age. There is a small section of split metalwork to the top under the glass bowl(this is out of sight but could be mended quite simply) There are some miner fleabites. Check out what we have for you Antique Cranberry Glass Victorian Epergne replacement parts 3 pieces: The long piece is 16 x 5 1/2" The short pieces are 10" x 3 1/4" Condition is very good with some minor condition. On one of the"short" piece. Some down towards the brass tips there is some rubbing/ in the glass. Probably from move the piece in and out of the Epergne. On the underside towards the top. There is a small bit of very tiny fleabites. Almost looks like manufacturing. But thought I should mention it. All else in good condition. On the second short piece. It is missing the very first, towards the bottom raised clear glass piece. It is on the underside of the piece. And is not really noticeable. Again the piece has tiny flea bits toward the bottom from moving in and out of the epergne. All else ... morein good condition. In the tall piece. There are two white flecks in the glass towards the bottom, which appear to be part of the manufacturing. Same rubbing at the bottom. Condition sounds worse than it is. I try to point out what I see. For your bidding consideration is a fabulous antique Victorian era mourning hair brooch. Dating to the 1860s-1870s. This charming piece ... moreis gold filled and double-sided with two compartments of ornately braided hair. The taille d'epergne enameled sides rotate, allowing the wearer to flip the brooch to have either side show. It is a very well made and substantial piece with beveled glass on both sides. Mourning jewelry was very popular in Victorian times. Life spans were a fraction of what they are today. And loss of loved ones early in life was very common. Victorian people were very sentimental and used ornately braided hair of loved ones in jewelry-brooches, rings, bracelets, necklaces, watch chains, etc. It was their way to carry a piece of their loved ones with them since life was very unpredictable. This sweet brooch measures 35mm x 35mm at the widest points and it weighs 8.8 grams. It is in good condition with a couple of issues-the pin back is missing. As is one small side of the taille d'epergne portion-please supersize my photos for best detail. It is an old Silverplate Epergne. The Epergne has 4 removable silverplate"trumpets" The center trumpet is large- about 9 1/4" long- opening is 5 1/2" diameter. Stands 10 3/4" tall. Marked on the bottom H M- EPNS. One vase has a small ding. I gave a light hand polish. In very good condition. Elegant centerpiece for the table or buffet.

These mirrors are a lovely shape with a delicate faceted cut glass pattern which really catch the light. They have a raised bevelled edge. There are some smears under the glass on both mirrors. large antique epergne horn amber
Up for your consideration is this large sized amber epergne horn. It is 12 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" across the top. The top has 8 ruffles. The bottom of the horn is 1" across and tapers to about 1 1/2" as it goes up. The glass is in good condition with no chips or cracks. However it dose have a few light scratches. I found several epergne horns at a thrift store in Vero Beach, Florida. This was the biggest one and the only one in amber. I do not know the maker or the age. A wonderful Large Antique EP Silver Epergne with four Light Blue Glass tubes. Height of the Epergne is 35 cms. The centre piece light blue glass tube is 24 cms and the three others light blue glass tubes are 18 cms. Please check for condition of silver on photo number 3, would need another silver wash. Fitted into this base is a gorgeous etched glass horn/vase with an etched/cut design of flowing grasses. Just gorgeous! Approx. measurements are 10 1/8" tall by 4" wide at base. Great vintage condition with a few age appropriate spots to the bronze. Gorgeous antique patina. No cracks. Chips or repairs. Base has been cement filled to add stability. Designer/Signed: Unbranded Description: For your consideration is this very nice antique brooch pin from the Victorian era mid to late 1800s. This piece is in very nice condition for it's age. I'm not certain of the metal content- likely gold filled but there are no markings. This brooch has beautiful Taille d' Epergne black enameling that is mostly intact with very slight loss. The brooch is a two part design with the oval shape. Attached and dangling from the top base section. There is a bead/ ball dangling in the center of the oval and three flat metal pieces dangling from the bottom. The oval frame has a couple of slight bends as found and I will leave as is. Ebay Listing Page Antique Midwestern Type Blown& Flint Etched Glass Celery Vase Item Description: Up for auction is a very nice antique glass celery vase likely manufactured during the early to mid 1800s by one the Midwestern Glass Companies. The celery vase has a blown glass trumpet form vase with etched flowers and vines on the exterior. The glass is wavy in nature with a ground flat top rim. The base features a stepped design and it is made of flint glass in the clambroth color. The base is hollow inside with a rayed or ribbed pattern. The connector is made of brass and the trumpet vase is secured to the brass connector with an electric blue glass wafer. The color is extremely nice and it rings exactly as it should for old flint glass when tapped gently. Overall the vase stands about 11 3/8" tall. Item Condition: The overall condition ... moreof the celery vase is excellent. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, or repaired areas. There are a few fleabites and knicks to the top rim, but they are not severe just noted for accuracy. The pattern details and clarity are excellent with no cloudiness. I see minor signs of use inside the very base of the vase, which can likely be cleaned out. The glass can be expected to have minor imperfections to include airbubbles, strawmarks, and mold imperfections that are associated with older glass. The bottom displays rubbing and wear from years of use and sliding it around. The wafer and brass connector are solid with no signs of being loose or refastened and the brass connector has a nice aged pateina that you like to see on older pieces. Here is an incredible antique clear glass 2-pc epergne and pedestal bowl. I believe this was manufactured by Mt. Washington or Fenton. The bottom of the compote has the pontil mark where it was hand removed from the firing process. The epergne and bowl have a tight ruffle all the way around the outer edges. The epergne measures 10 inches tall when it is in place. The condition is amazing for a piece of this age. The only thing I could find is a chip on the bottom of the epergne where it sets in the compote. The metal is not marked, but is either gold-filled or rolled-gold plate. This bracelet has fabulous hand engraving on the front and back. The designs are different. Both beautiful. Dimensions: 5/8-inch wide. 6-inch inside circumference. Weight: 23.6 grams. The hinge and clasp are in very good condition. The bracelet closes with a snap. And is a little hard to open. Description EPERGNE. A late 19th Century all glass table centre piece epergne- the footed amethyst bowl trimmed with opalescent white petal edging sits above seven clear glass leaf designed feet. Rising from the bowl a tall central flute in the form of a stylised blue heron tulip flanked by two lower blue heron tulips just coming into flower and arched leaves all in a graduated opalescent amethyst with clear crystal and uranium green trim. THIS LISTING IS FOR.this extraordinary. Antique(1870) Victorian, 14k Rose Gold, Taille d'epergne, WIDE, buckle bracelet. This is an extraordinary piece of antique jewelry and one of the nicest pieces I've listed on ebay. Buckle jewelry was very popular during the Victorian era. Bracelet is dated. The mark is very hard to read but it appears to be"Pat Sep 13 70" Which would mean"patented September 13, 1870" Bracelet is in great condition ... morefor being nearly 150 years old. The outside looks great. I have not tried to clean this antique piece. The underside of the bracelet(the part that faces your wrist) has some small dents here and there- see photos. These are not visible when the bracelet is being worn. Clasp on the bracelet is in great condition. Bracelet is beautifully adorned in the Taille d' epergne style. This term refers to a black enamel tracery where engraved lines in Gold are filled in with opaque enamel. This WIDE hinged bangle is a great example of this technique. I had this bracelet tested by 2 separate jewelers and it tests as 14k Rose Gold. It is not Gold filled. The last 2 photos that I show in the series of photos are from the wonderful book"Answers to Questions about Old Jewelry" by Jeanenne Bell G.G. The next to last photo shows a Victorian buckle bracelet decorated with the"taille d' epergne" technique. Description In auction is this elegant cut crystal& tall silver epergne made by Harrison& Fisher in Sheffield England c1900. The company was in business from 1897-1925. The dimensions are approximately 14" in height by 12.1/4" in diameter. The silver is very nice condition and shows very little wear. The crystal flutes have chips on the rim as photographed. The clear glass jack in the pulpit style example measures 11-1/2 inches long. 4-1/4 inches wide at the top with the metal fitting on its base measuring 5/8 inches tall by 4/8 inches wide. This is not a center lily, but rather one that would go on the outside edge. Second is a center lily measuring 11-1/2 inches tall by 5-3/4 inches across the ruffled top that shades in color from dark cranberry to pink to opalescent. The frosted insert or base of the lily has a chip as shown. The base alone measures 1-1/2 inches tall by nearly one inch across. 1900-1940s ANTIQUE SILVER THREE FLUTED EPERGNE VASE
ANTIQUE SILVER EPERGNE CIRCA 1920s. Here we have a very handsome silver Epergne centrepiece with three removable flutes around a larger central trumpet section. It has a very attractive inscription to the base( see photo) dated 1928 along with two jewelers marks to the underneath the extending branches. This item may be solid silver as i see no wear or brassing. However it has not been tested therefore being sold as plated. An absolute stunning and quality made piece that stands aprox 31cm which would grace any dining table. Please see photos for more details. Price has been reduced.
